Seeing actual bushfire footage looks straight out of Hell... It moves so quickly and so powerfully, literally the trees just ignite. You firefighters are absolute legends, but please, don't die.

Welcome to my little personal den of Hell! Sorry, sorry, I meant my personal profile. Same thing, right?

I'm a roleplayer, same as any around here. I've been doing it for about five years now, coming up to six in September. Its been quite the time, thinking back. I started out fresh as can be, understanding the basics of writing but never quite knowing how to become better, or become as great as those around me. In the end, I did the only thing I really knew at the time:

Write as much garbage as possible and hope for the best!

As you can see, that particular tactic fucking failed.
Jokes aside, I like to think I've developed a lot over the years, both as a writer and as a person. However, absolutely nothing can dissuade my weeaboo ways and supporting my OTP with all that I can freaking muster! If you haven't already guessed, said OTP is Chrom x Robin (Chrobin) from Fire Emblem: Awakening. Highly recommend the game, there's a reason (other than nintendo's cheapskate attitude) that it hasn't dropped in price, it's honestly the best place to start off in the series. And hey, maybe you'll end up addicted like me and want to buy every game on the 3DS like a fucking loony?

Speaking of loonies, the Fire Emblem Chrobin Comic Dub Project has recently finished, so for those of you who also appreciate the best ship in existence, I highly recommend it. Hell, even if you're not interested in that, I do highly recommend watching it for those into fantasy love stories. The quality improves drastically with each episode, so trust me when I say by the end of it you should be thoroughly impressed. It has helped motivate me in ways I can hardly describe with words, and so I thought the least I could do was put this out there. Maybe it's not for everyone, but I know it was the perfect thing for me.

"Do you think you can tip any of the scales in here?"
"Chrom, for the love of Naga, I'm thinking..."

"So I heard."

"There are better places
to take a nap than
on the ground, you know."

'Ah, my favourite time of day... Night!' Thought a slightly miserable Ryoki feigning happiness as she was tuning in to Shine City's radio station at home, going over one of her edits. Things weren't going too well, from the looks of things. At first, the tune clicked with her, but now things were falling into disarray. She'd been at it for about three hours now. When she left the flower store, she paid a quick visit to the arcade before coming home and working on her recordings. She knew she shouldn't - it was her day off, after all. However, in the flower store earlier, she just had a moment of inspiration that seemingly played out to be the perfect song in her head. Now, she was struggling to put the chords she'd invented on paper, and struggling more-so with editing in everything. This was a recurring theme with Ryoki. It was like writer's block, but for a musician. She dubbed it: "Player's Block". It was a dumb name for an equally dumb condition.

"Stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid, STUPID!" She groans in exasperation as everything just seemingly fell apart. It wasn't working; it just was not working out. Perhaps that was all she could've hoped for back in that flower store; perhaps that was all she could capture in that brief moment. It was nothing more than that: a moment. Sulking with her face pressed against her desk, Ryoki sat there for awhile, before lifting her head and shutting down her computer with a sigh. She had a faint craving to play something, but at the same time she had "Gamer's Block": being unable to decide on what to play. It must be some other type of curse. The thought of depression crossed her mind, but she seriously doubted that. Bipolar, maybe.

"... Wait a minute..." She pauses. Just as she was about to go to bed, a thought crossed her mind, that thought being: 'What if I went to the shop again?' It was a ground-breaking idea! No, more than that, it was goddamn revolutionary! There was just one problem...

The store was probably closed by now... And even if it weren't, it wouldn't have her sweet, little Kaori there... Even if she was going to see her tomorrow, she didn't want to wait that long... It was simply heartbreaking!

... The thought of the young red-head blushing when they met in the flower store earlier that day brings a smile to Ryoki's face. She was a good kid, and Ryoki knew, she just knew, she was going to make some man very happy one day. It was a certainty. The girl was so irresistible, it was a wonder no guy had gone out with her before, to her knowledge. Perhaps Ryoki could take Kaori boy-hunting one day...

She bends over in order to turn off her monitor before heading to bed, though is surprised as something falls from her breast pocket and onto her desk. With the monitor turned off, she inspects this item, and discovers it was the card given to her early in the morning by the intriguing young man, Yutaro. 'The casino... Oh yeah, I did want to visit there, didn't I? I forgot all about it after the flower shop...' Ryoki inspects the card some more, before sliding it back into her pocket. 'Well, I've got leftovers... And I can always borrow daddy's account... Teehee~!' Giggling to herself, Ryoki threw on her black, woolly jumper and changed into black tracksuit pants with white strips on the sides, opting to keep the same shirt since it wouldn't be seeing much action anyways with her jumper on. Wrapping the black and yellow scarf 'round her neck, Ryoki makes sure to check over her room and makes sure everything was put away and safe in case she came home wasted, or not home at all! She'd learnt that lesson the hard way...

Living close to Shine Junction was extremely beneficial to Ryoki. For starters, it made travel extremely easy. She was lucky enough to have snagged her apartment, and was thankful she did so. She could practically walk wherever she needed to go, and the casino was no exception. Though it was one of her 'longer' walks, it really wasn't too far from home sweet home. Entering through the bustling entrance, Ryoki was greeted with the all-too-familiar lights, sounds and smells of the local casino. Though she wasn't as regular as some of the folks here, she came enough to become a 'regular', if you could call it that. Unlike most, Ryoki didn't play to win, at least not often. Though she often had a competitive edge to her, she preferred to be 'sociable' in these kinds of places, though of course if she were to be issued a challenge, Ryoki would gladly accept.

Looking around the roulette tables and slot machines, Ryoki began to wonder where her esteemed flirt-friend had gone. 'Maybe he isn't here... Perhaps today isn't his-,' she thought before spotting him out at one of the Blackjack tables, 'wait, never mind. There you are...~' She couldn't help but giggle to herself as she heads over, calming herself before she's spotted and takes a seat beside one of the men at the table - a man with with white hair, who looked rather handsome. Then again, most men in the casino were rather handsome, the dealers included, so long as they weren't drunks. 'The yin to my yang.' She thought humorously to herself.

She gives Yutaro a knowing smile -- a knowing smile that says "hello" in a devious way -- as she listens to the men make conversation for the time being, taking her seat at the table.

I may be a bit too innocent, but what's the significance of 15? I know it's an innuendo, but how? XD

6 + 9 = 15 :D It's the cards in the hand
@MyCatGinger "if she enjoys seeing men flustered, blushing, stuttering and struggling."

Ohohoho, yes indeed! :D I think she'd enjoy that a lot.

And thanks, I didn't think anyone would get the 15 joke XD
@Delta44 Imagine! The first place Shou meets Ryoki, the casino...

...how unromantic. xD

It's totally romantic if you use your imagination XD for example, Blackjack pick-up lines!

"Would you be the King to my queen of hearts?"
"If I said 'hit me', would you deal me an ace?"
"The two cards in my hand add up to 15, and they're exactly what I want to do to you."
"If you want, you can see my fold, you just have to ask."
@Takashi So long as the game has just started (or is starting) she'll join :P
@Takashi So would Yutaro fancy a visit from Ryoki or are things a bit crowded up at the casino?

Iosef raises a brow.

"Hello? In need of a portal to get back to the town?"

Once she does make one, he jumps through it.

The girl sighs, conjuring the portal. "Fine." She replies simply, and as they jump through, they find themselves back in town - more specifically a back alley so they aren't spotted, just in case.

"And now we're baaaaaack~!" Sings the jester with a maniacal chuckle, though settles himself quickly. "And with this little trinket in tow! Ooh, today is my lucky day!"

"We head out to find the most powerful blade... Then we raise all hell." Connor replies, swinging his new sword around to get used to it, careful not to hit anyone. He would still keep his old sword, but the red one would serve as a nice backup weapon. He then puts it in an extra sheath (that he magically has) on his back.

"That would be... Darkstalker, I think?" The girl ponders to herself, though everyone seems cautious of the red energy his sword left as he swung. "But don't expect it to be easy... That blade is guarded by Death's best friend. There's no way we could take that on!"
This backstory development between Shou and ol' Ollie is pretty interesting XD and as it turns out, the place I'm at has free wifi, so I can post (so long as Ana replies sometime soon...).
<Snipped quote by Narcotic Dollie>

Now, now children, it's best if we let Shou himself decide.

However,

This makes me unconfortable ;-;

Btw I'm gonna be away for a day guys :P
