Seeing actual bushfire footage looks straight out of Hell... It moves so quickly and so powerfully, literally the trees just ignite. You firefighters are absolute legends, but please, don't die.

Welcome to my little personal den of Hell! Sorry, sorry, I meant my personal profile. Same thing, right?

I'm a roleplayer, same as any around here. I've been doing it for about five years now, coming up to six in September. Its been quite the time, thinking back. I started out fresh as can be, understanding the basics of writing but never quite knowing how to become better, or become as great as those around me. In the end, I did the only thing I really knew at the time:

Write as much garbage as possible and hope for the best!

As you can see, that particular tactic fucking failed.
Jokes aside, I like to think I've developed a lot over the years, both as a writer and as a person. However, absolutely nothing can dissuade my weeaboo ways and supporting my OTP with all that I can freaking muster! If you haven't already guessed, said OTP is Chrom x Robin (Chrobin) from Fire Emblem: Awakening. Highly recommend the game, there's a reason (other than nintendo's cheapskate attitude) that it hasn't dropped in price, it's honestly the best place to start off in the series. And hey, maybe you'll end up addicted like me and want to buy every game on the 3DS like a fucking loony?

Speaking of loonies, the Fire Emblem Chrobin Comic Dub Project has recently finished, so for those of you who also appreciate the best ship in existence, I highly recommend it. Hell, even if you're not interested in that, I do highly recommend watching it for those into fantasy love stories. The quality improves drastically with each episode, so trust me when I say by the end of it you should be thoroughly impressed. It has helped motivate me in ways I can hardly describe with words, and so I thought the least I could do was put this out there. Maybe it's not for everyone, but I know it was the perfect thing for me.

"Do you think you can tip any of the scales in here?"
"Chrom, for the love of Naga, I'm thinking..."

"So I heard."

"There are better places
to take a nap than
on the ground, you know."

"Mmm, it is, ain't it?" She giggles flirtatiously before immediately reverting to her cheery and excited state she'd gotten into when they found the Brave manga. "Come on, come on! Let's get to reading it already!"

For the next thirty or fourty minutes, the two of them read the manga: Rokka no Yuusha 'The Sixth Brave Flower'. Together, the two of them scour the pages, Ryoki reading out lines of the female characters and Zac reading those of the male characters, and the both of them alternating between any narration that needs to be made. Ryoki herself was really enjoying the whole thing. Reading wasn't always her thing, since she always had to read for lines of characters in anime and games and such, though doing it with someone else, in person, was very fun indeed. She made sure to show off her voice acting prowess whilst she could, hoping that Zac might watch anime enough to have picked up just how familiar she sounded compared to many anime characters.

By the end of their session, the two had made... not an awful lot of progress in the manga's pages. Due to them voicing over the characters, it made the whole reading process slower, only getting a quarter of the way through the issue, ending on a cliffhanger. But, despite that, Ryoki was smiling. One, it meant she could read more later tonight, and two, it was fun reading with the magician. His presence had made all the difference in the experience, so much so that she even considered doing it again. She wasn't quite sure what Zac meant to her just yet, but for right now she knew he was enjoyable company.

He'd helped her forget all about the darkness that lingered. In fact, he'd even purged some of that darkness himself, and Ryoki was unknowingly grateful for that.

"I guess you gotta go back and do your show, huh?" Ryoki asks with a smile, looking up at the young man before her after exiting the manga cafe. "I would stick around and watch, but I've got to get myself ready for work tonight. That, and I'm severely behind schedule on my latest upload. Oh! I make music and stuff and upload it to YouTube, though it's not always the most fulfilling work, so I need to take to other kinds of work. As they say: you shouldn't quit your day job!"

She laughs and looks down at her shopping bags, with the newly-added manga housed within the confines of the bag. "I just wanna say, uh... Thanks for cheering me up today..." She couldn't help it as her cheeks went slightly red; she wasn't used to thanking people, since usually it was the other way around. "I had lots of fun reading with you. I don't always open up to others about my secret love for anime, manga and games, so yeah, this was... nice! Very nice!" She then looks up at Zac, staring into his eyes with her seas of crystal blue, much like ice. "I feel like doing this again will be lots of fun. In fact, we could maybe go to the arcade sometime soon, if you're interested?"

She grins and produces her phone, flashing the man her number, which was kept in the notes. "These are the numbers required to contact my cellphone. One of us will be calling the other if we ever need someone to otaku with." She smirks and, after he'd saved the number in some way, shape or form, pushes him playfully in the direction of the Shining Kettle. "Alright, magic-boy~! Go show those customers your stuff!" She grins and turns her back, waving him goodbye as she began walking home.

'I never would've imagined it: a cute boy I can actually talk somewhat normally with. Looks like you're getting better at this, Ryoki! You deserve some ice cream as a reward!' She giggles to herself. As the two parted ways, Zac might hear a certain someone shout in Ryoki's direction: "Yaaaaaay~! Ice cream~!" As well as a certain yellow and black scarf fading from sight, disappearing behind a corner.

9:30 time~

Tonight was the night of her big debut, working as a casino bunny girl waitress. It wasn't something she ever thought she'd find herself doing, but alas, the role suited her well and the pay was great! Also, to say she looked stellar was a compliment she would likely be receiving all night tonight. Though perhaps not always using those words, specifically...

Though, the girls had opted to make a last-minute decision to help spice up their little team of waitresses...

Since Iruka was basically the kind and innocent new edition and Ryoki was practically the polar opposite, Yumeno and the other two girls decided to make them somewhat of a duo; the tender angel, so innocent and sweet, followed by the succubus with a tongue so skilled, it could be considered "dangerous". The two of them, despite being new additions to the team, fit right in, in their own little way. Ryoki was definitely doing her best, so to leave a good impression among her fellow co-workers, new boss, and the customers; since Ryoki was already quite skilled in the department, it didn't take her long to leave a lasting impression on some of the casino's guests.

Though somewhere along the line, she'd disappeared. Where exactly had she gone, you ask?

"Hello, Yutaro. Nice cat ears!" Spoke a rather familiar voice from behind the casino dealer. That's right: the blackjack tables. She seems to have been making fun of his ears, if her tone was any indication. "Do you get a sweet lil tail like I do~? Oh, wait, never mind - your tail is on the front. Maybe I should give the little guy a tug~?" She giggles and winks as she stood at the table, resting her arms on the bench. "I didn't think working as a waitress would be so tiring, but I'll admit, it's pretty fun. And you can stop drooling, you know, hehe!"

She grins and looks around a little. "The night's still young, though. Even so, how goes the blackjack tables? Also, I hear there's like a concert going on or something. What's with that?"

Well, she certainly was in a good mood...! And somehow managed to turn her scarf into some sort of hair tie...

@Takashi
@VKAllen Sure, that sounds fun! :P
@Cirrus I need a dislike button...

@Daxam Don't worry, I was joking :P Zac's a mighty fine competitor for Ryoki's heart!
I just realised something: Yutaro gets to reap the rewards of Shou and Zac's efforts to cheer Ryoki up. After Shou getting pushed away and Zac basically getting friend-zoned for manga, Yutaro is the one who gets to see her in a bunny suit serving him drinks and showing off her, uh, personality.

I kinda like this turn of events XD

alright finally able to reply to this XD Should have da replies up unt a little while!
@VKAllen Uh, okay...? Dunno what you mean there XD
@VKAllen

"Well, I felt you might've needed me, so I was quick."

The red-haired Faunus spoke as her close... boss put on one of the headsets within their transport and took a seat himself. "You do need me, after all... Right?" She would be slightly worried if there would ever be a time where she had no use to the man she admires. Their interactions as a team in the academy in which their little group attended had made the group quite familiar with one-another; the pink Faunus and her leader especially.

As the helo began to ascend -- rather quickly, mind you, having already being spooled up -- our red-haired friend gently grazes her hand along the belt in which she has strapped herself into. For a phoenix-human halfbreed with wings of flame, the young woman was still rather troubled with flying. A unique trait among phoenix Faunus, though it's not like her fiery wings could lift her into the air anyways, what with them being fire and all. She was just thankful they could be hidden against her back, and generally didn't burn everything they touched. Generally...

She lifts her gaze, having found herself staring at the seat in which she sat, dragged back to the real world by the clicking of fingers. "Oh, sorry, I zoned out. Which reminds me, you still haven't informed me on just what it is we're doing. And before you say 'there's a time and place for everything', I got sick of that excuse ages ago. C'mon, it's almost like you don't trust me or something..." Though she looks as though she were going to sulk, she would be fine. Often the lady would have moments where she would revert to her childish side, such as this, though mostly she was obedient and attentive. That's just who she was;

... That's who Jaeger Minamotto is.

Seth continued to irritate her somehow. Vivianne couldn't quite place what it was, but this boy was just... so starkly different to herself. Someone who wouldn't even take their introductions seriously was bound to be problematic, though she was far too fatigued for now to deal with it. Also, it would be... unkind to have someone change themselves just to better suit her personal tastes...

'Well, he could change a little...'

She couldn't have these thoughts torment her, so she listens to Celia's introduction to distract herself from her own mind. To her, Celia seemed... quiet, despite her getup. Perhaps it was due to not talking as long as she had, but there was something about their new leader that seemed off somehow. Perhaps it was Vivianne's closed mindset, but she didn't seem leader material in her eyes. At least, not yet, anyways. Everything had a chance to grow and change, after all, including the guitarist whom had designated her lead singer for what she could only assume would be a band consisting of them four. Though, Vivianne wasn't even quite sure what a band was. All she knew was that it probably wasn't good.

"It appears introductions are out of the way." She spoke after Celia, looking among her comrades as she continues. "I believe the initiation trial and classes start tomorrow. They'll likely let us tour the camp grounds or grow accustomed to Vale for the time being. Or lounge around in our rooms. In which case, I could really go for some food right about now. If anyone wishes to accompany me to the cafeteria, you're more than welcome."
Surely Ryoki isn't still feeling sheepish after all of this cheering up.
I thought she was a cheerful individual at first. You sure pulled the wool over my eyes.

She's a sporadic individual XD she's got many highs and many lows. Though for the most part, she's happy and cheerful.

And no more sheep puns... Please...
Also, before we continue, I need someone to get me a sheep costume... Why?

It's for Ryoki's sake!
