" Actually this is your home Nikki and yes I have lost my temper. Just not like Matt had done." Vincent said with a sigh. " Will Erin be okay? I mean I just feel useless right now Nikki and I'm worried about you two." the man hold the woman closer in order to make sure that this wasn't a dream.

Nikki held onto him tightly as she looked at Matt hovering over Erin. "I sure hope so. Matt is well trained. If anyone can get her through this it's him." Nikki felt her heart hit the floor. "I don't know how you can still be upset with him when no one else is. Matt has always been the guy who helps people, saves their lives. Can you say the same about yourself?" Nikki could feel the heartache coming.

" Guess it's because of my Irish blood. Though I do see your point of view Nikki. How about this. I'll slowly move back into the high school if that's okay with Matt. That way we can have a heart to heart talk about my past and hopefully he can understand that I will do whatever is in my power to protect you." Vincent suggested. It would be hard to follow out his plans but he would in be closer to Erin and Nikki at the same time.

The man smiled as the thought of being with the woman once again filled his head. No one would get a chance to hurt either of his girls as long as he was there. No one would think twice about messing with a guy who had so much to protect than one who didn't. He kissed Nikki on her forehead to show he respected her brother's opinion. In a way Vincent respected the man because he was trying to help his sibling from harm and now he was trying to save someone else's family. Not many would do that in this world. " Let's get you off your ankle Nikki." he said as he swooped her into his arms once again.

Nikki watched as Vincent just casually carried her next door to her room stepping over Joseph's unconscious body. Nikki chuckled. She caught James eye and saw his expression of disapproval of Vincent. She knew why and just turned her head to the door as he opened it. Nikki looked at her room and she had left it in a mess. She hadn't really been in here much the last few days. She had been sleeping in the Monster and getting up with the sun so she could practice so she could stay distracted. Jenna knew what she was doing and would check on her when she got up.

Nikki kicked the door shut behind them and when Vincent put her on the bed she pulled him down to her for a much needed kiss.

Meanwhile James popped his head into the medical room. "I have no idea where that kid went." Matt picked up his walkie and said." Jenna get on the PA and page Haru to the Medical room.” Not a moment later Jenna paged Haru with the PA system.

Haru sighed at he ran his hand through his hair. When Erin was missing from her room the young man decided to look in the girl's usual hiding places but none had been a success. Then the PA system seemed to come to life causing him to jump in surprise. " Medical room. Great now Matt will have my hide." the guy knew that he was in trouble but he wasn't sure if the extent considering he was slacking on his assignment. The teenager hurried off toward the medical room. " Alright I'm not going to ask where in the Sam hill you found her. I found a stuff animal with her pills inside. My guess is Erin put them inside herself." he said as he walked toward Matt.

"She walked right into the cafeteria looking to eat. She passed out right in my arms. I told you to watch her take the meds. It's not just Erin it's Clara too." Matt listened to her chest. Matt took the bottle Haru handed him. It was full, She hadn't taken any of it. "What the hell Erin. Why wouldn't you take your meds?" He asked himself. Matt stayed with Erin for the next several hours without moving from her side. Jenna brought him food at dinnertime. He was determined that she was not going to be his first casualty.

After a while Erin fluttered her eye open and tried to sit up. For some reason she was unable to so she looked around the room. It was familiar to a hospital, which she hated from childhood, yet the girl knew better than to assume the outbreak was really over. " Look who's waking up. How do you feel?" Haru asked. " Cooler though I would like to go to my room now. I hate this room." the teenager commented. " I would ask the doctor first." he said pointing toward Matt.

The young woman turned her head toward the man with a small smile and what seemed to be attempt at puppy eyes. " I feel better now. Sorry for the scare so may I please go back to my room? I promise to take my medicine for now on." she had made the same promise the day the arrived yet her word was never kept. Erin hoped he wouldn't ask why she had not kept it or even as about her last which she struggled to keep hidden from everyone around her.

Matt looked at Erin. "Erin you were this close to death this morning." He illustrated his point using his fingers to show about a half an inch. "Do you have an excuse for almost killing yourself? Haru found these too. What's with hiding your pills?" Matt looked down at the floor a moment.

"Look, I know you've got a lot of experience with hospitals and doctors and you've probably seen the bad stuff there too. That was then and this is now. We have limited supplies. I don't have any saline or anesthetic other than liquor. There are a lot of things that I could seriously use here. So spill it, Why would you not take your pills and hide them instead?"

Erin frowned. She wasn't aware that Clara had been spilling information which she didn't want shared. The girl shrugged as best she could before answering. " I've always hide my meds when I was a child. My hiding place was inside the stuffed hippo my Aunt Vivian had bought me after the doctor blamed me for my parents death." she felt a small shiver move through her body. " I don't take them because they made me feel sick. Mainly because I don't really take any of my regular pills due to Clara taking over. Not to mention that I had to kill my bitten cousin and turned aunt." the teenager explained.

" It's true Matt. Vivian and the other nurses use to tell each other when Clara was out though she didn't have a name back then. The key phrase was always the demon is out. I think I have her medical record somewhere in my things." Haru chimed in as he changed the wet cloths on Erin's forehead. The young woman looked down as if she had been scolded like a small child was. " I'm sorry."

Matt was thinking on the new information a moment. He went over to the medication that he had and pulled out a bottle of meds and left the room. He went next door to Nikki's room and knocked. "Wait a minute!" Matt smirked. He knew what they were doing. "Nik?" Matt opened the door just a little so he could squeeze in backwards. He couldn't see anything but the door in front of him. He could hear his sister pulling clothes or at least blankets up.

"I just need Vincent for a minute. Are you covered up? I'll only be a minute but I want to talk to you guys about this." Nikki was covered with the blanket and a T-shirt as Vincent finished zipping his pants.

"Ok turn around and this better be good." Matt couldn't help chuckling. "Erin's awake and out of the woods. I asked her about the meds and she has been hiding them her entire life. She has never taken any of the meds they gave her to suppress Clara. I want to put her on something for it. We have a bottle of it. I can administer it and make sure she takes it but I want your permission to do it. I can't trust her to take her meds so I'm already going to have to give her the antibiotics three times a day. I want to see if this helps her. What do you think?" Matt handed the bottle to Vincent and let him read about the side effects. "With you back you can help us keep her on her meds and see if we can stabilize her."

Vincent read the side effects only to end up frowning. He looked up and placed the bottle on the table inside the room. " I understand the you're worried but I'm not sure about this. Yes, it will most likely work but for some reason I don't think that it will. I went back to where Haru had said Vivian lived and found two bodies inside. Or what was left of them. I don't think Clara was able to do what she can do now in the past." he stopped to think out how to phrase what he was trying to say in a way they would understand.

" From the way Alex acts Erin is almost completely different than she once was. As we are all aware Clara tends to come out when she feels like the lighter half is in danger or exhausted, much like a normal person would do. It's like the book Jekyll and Hyde only without the mutation part. Not to mention that Erin acts as if the two halves are almost exactly two different people." the man looked toward Nikki as if to ask if she had noticed it too.

" I think we should get more information from Alex. As if the medication we will try it for a week just in case she has an allergic reaction. If it shows in prove me at then we will continue treatments. If not then we try something else." Vincent wanted answers to Erin's past even more now. His hand raked through his hair as a sigh passed his lips. " Nikki what's your suggestion? I'm asking because she considers you and Kat as mother figures."

"I agree. Try it for a week. Of course if there are allergies or bad side effects we can take her off of it immediately. With any luck it will help her.I'll need to know the name and dosages of those meds. I'll have to hunt for more. A lot more if they work and it's going to be a long term thing."

Erin stayed behind the cafeteria wall in a semi dark corner. Her head was down and her breathing was off due to recently getting sick. She felt disgusting from the recent nightmare from which shook her from her sleep. The girl walked inside paled skin with light grey rings around her eyes and without the homemade cast that someone had made for her dominate side. She quietly whimpered with each swing of her arm causing her to press it to her side. ” Erin come here for a second.” this caused to teenager to stop in her tracks. ” Don't have me ask Nikki to tell you young lady.” she frowned as she did as she was told. He placed a hand on her forehead just to have a deeper worried look upon his face. ” I thought so. Erin how long have you been feeling ill?”

Erin looked toward Nikki as if asking to be excused from this sudden investigation. She didn't answer. ” I heard you broke your arm three days ago. Do you need anything such as medicine?” ” Matt just said it was sprained. I don't need anything from you and I don't want to go with you. I don't even want to be around you because I hate you for lying.” the girl jerked away only to flinch from the pain and bring her arm into his sight. The limb was now black and blue up and down. The deeper coloring showed where it slammed on the tree as well as where the walker grasped in order to take a bite. The scratches were now turning a red coloring due to irritation from staying inside the cast all the time.

” I'm going to get something to eat then see if I can't help Matt with anything. That way Nikki can visit you without me.” the teenager walked away toward the very back of the room. She noticed that Kat was there as well as Jenna. ” Good morning. What's there to eat?” the young woman asked while hoping they wouldn't notice that she was pale or even that she didn't do as Matt instructed.

“ You're cleared McGarth. If you're looking for Nikki then I would try either the gym or the cafeteria. By the way it's good to see you again man.” Vincent nodded. ” It's good to see everyone is okay but I'm afraid that we are just visiting. I'm still mad at Matt and think it's best to stay away for a while.” the guard nodded in agreement before opening the gate. The twins lowered themselves back into the car and drove inside. They parked near the entrance, only stopping for the oldest to take a deep breath to cool his rising temper, and continued inside the doors.

Vincent went to the cafeteria while Raven walked toward the gym. His mind flipped through the events inside his head only to shake it to completely clear it. The thoughts still linger until the man turned into the room then leaned on the doorway. ” Ummm…Nikki? What happened?” he asked while walking farther inside. The guy stopped beside Nikki, giving her a kiss on the lips, before sitting down next to her. ” Hello everyone.” the older brother said before receiving a punch in the jaw from Haru. ” Next time you decide to tell Erin the truth don't. Because of you she had broken her arm in three different places and nearly got eaten by a Walker.” ” Erin what!? What happened? Where's Erin Nikki?” he said turning pale with each word that was spoken.@Wick

Home at last. The best thing in this world was right here inside this building. The young man wiped his brow as another person walk inside some scratches on his arms. He gave a questioning look toward them. “ It's not from Walkers. I cut myself with some glass earlier today.” The man said. [Color=yellow]” It's not that I don't believe you sir but I would like to take you into quarantine. Just a precaution mind you. We have recently could found out that people have been turning inside a day. If you don't turn, which I'm sure you won't since there are glass shards in these wounds, then you will be released.” he said in a calm voice. “ I'll admit that I don't like the idea but since you said that I don't mind. Did that other kid go into this?” The same question everyone asked. Erin had come with injuries and everyone seemed scared.

” Yes. We both did when we came back. Granted I would ask for you not to worry about her. Her broken arm was fixed by Matt and Clara hasn't popped her head up since the event. The teenager is perfectly normal to society's standards.” the guy said as he wrapped up the wound. “ I still say we should have left her out there. Clara's a danger for everyone to be around and I want her gone.” This caused the boy to sigh. Another complaint from a different person. Some of the others were happy that they were back and others seemed to be disappointed that both were welcomed back. ” Alright. I'll mention your complaint to Nikki Joseph. This way please.”

When Haru was done he walked toward the cafeteria. His mind there the events of the past three days. Nothing too eventful but everyone seemed to be able to stay busy enough. He walked inside only to raise an eyebrow once again today. ” I would take it that the landing was not quite right was it Nikki?” the teenager asked as he ruffled his hair. ” I'm here with an update. Joseph was upset that Erin was allowed back inside the high school. As you are already aware of Clara has been at bay. My guess is that she feels horrible that the lighter half was injured. Speaking of our injured person has anyone seen her?” the guy asked before turning his attention to Camyllia. ” Good morning.”@Wick@Aintitfun1997
