Heyo, my apologies for the delay in my next post. I've been pretty busy around the house with a new arrival and I've been kinda too tired to focus on this. Hopefully it won't be so bad in the near future once I've grown accustomed to it. But I can say that I'll definitely have a post up by this weekend, where I know the work won't be on me xD

Oml the first nat20 of the campaign is...a check to see if he can succeed at sticking his hand into what seems to be a fire. Good lord, I hope this is telling about how this campaign is going to go, because that would be amazing. xD

Sad, if we had tied, Eloween could have tried to slap his hand away, and they just end up getting into a slapping fight while Ferrin is like "... guys pls..."

Alrighty, here's what I've got for my character concept. If you want me to choose different Champion lines to make them more varied, I guess I can do that. I just kinda figured this was a golden opportunity to demonstrate the noticeable differences between the two different lines he has. xD

What do you look like?
Well, I was always raised to present myself in the best way possible at all times. Admittedly, though, I might not be nearly as concerned about my appearance as my parents would like me to be. However, I do try to make a solid first impression and tries to maintain myself to the best of my abilities. I try to maintain a "proper" Japanese student look. My hair, a deep black in hue, is styled to the side and curved a bit toward the side of his face to keep it way from his eyes. I'll often wear my typical school uniform for the private school I attend: a blue jacket with white lining with darker blue streaks up the sides where the arms usually fall, as well as a pair of rather simple-looking black pants. Beneath this jacket, there is a simple, collared white shirt and a black tie with a blue streak down its center. I make sure that I does enough exercise to keep himself fit and healthy, but admittedly, I don't actively attempt to physically improve myself at all. This leaves my actual build as rather average overall.

What's your favorite color?
I definitely have a fondness for blue, if I'm honest. But definitely not the bright cyan color. Darker than that, but lighter than what gets closer to indigo. I'd say more like...a cerulean or an azure shade.

What is your family like?
My family is very busy. My father and mother are very strict on the rules, though I suppose that kind of comes with the territory of being successful attorneys. They're always busy, working on one case or the other. They try to force me into this rough work schedule so that I can follow in their footsteps, but it's alright. I know they're only doing this because they want what's best for me. I can't exactly argue with that, can I? It might be a bit overwhelming at times, and they might be a bit overbearing, but they only do this 'cause they care, I'm sure....

Favorite song?
Oh, uh...I-I don't really listen to music that much. It's too distracting. But...I guess if I had to give an answer, it'd be something like a show tune or classical music.... Something that feels more personal and tailored to a particular story or emotion. B-but I don't really listen to enough music to say I have a "favorite song" per se....

What are you afraid of?
Afraid...? Oh, uh...w-well, I-I suppose...it would be disappointing my parents more than anything. Th-they work hard and they provide for me. They want me to succeed so badly, and I just don't want to let them down. But...at the same time, sometimes I'm afraid that maybe...just maybe...I might not want to be what they want me to be...but that I'm not going to have much choice in the matter.

Would you rather be at home, or away from home?
I spend so much of my time at home that I just...well, to be honest, I definitely don't want to be there right now. I know it's probably kind of wrong since I've still got work to do at home, but...I don't really want to be there. I want the chance to really learn about what life is like outside of this perfect little life my parents have set up for me.

Do you believe in monsters?
Well...I can't say that I have any firsthand accounts of monsters, nor do I find the existing stories of real-world monsters particularly credible. But it is not as though it's impossible for monsters to exist in our world. People like to say that it's just "common sense" that monsters don't exist, but trust me. When you've seen as many criminal investigations from the inside and outside perspectives as I have, you begin to realize that "common sense" doesn't really apply as much as you might think. Though I'm not going to lie, it would be amazing to get the opportunity to see monsters in the real world. Well...assuming there wasn't any danger associated with them. But I imagine they'd probably just be like any other animal or life form.

What's your favorite local legend? Which one scares you most?
My...favorite legend? Well...I have heard legends about the creatures that live in the nearby river. Apparently they're not too different from humans outside of their appearance, yet the people who claim to have seen them never have any proof, and they're always long gone when anyone else shows up. There are apparently a variety of them, from those who simply enjoy competing in martial arts and games to those more dangerous that attack unsuspecting swimmers. But regardless of their mannerisms, it's said that if you can best one of these creatures, that they will be loyal to you forever. I have my doubts about such a legend, but isn't it fascinating to think about besting one and making a strange friend like that?

How much do you use technology on a regular basis?
On a regular basis. Whether it's to keep up with my schedule, or to actually turn in assignments online, or even to simply play virtual chess with more people than I could with real chess pieces. Though I will never understand those at school that use social media all the time. It all just seems so vain and like such a waste of time.... This technology has all kinds of practical uses, from video to notetaking. It just seems strange to use it for something like posting pictures of yourself or your food.

It is said power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely; do you agree?
Not necessarily. I know plenty of people in a position of power that I would trust. I believe that there are people out there that, if they obtained absolute power, could potentially use that power well without abusing it. But I do acknowledge that people like that in today's society are very few in number.

What are your thoughts on death?
Well...it's an inevitability. It doesn't matter who or what you are; eventually, you will fade from this plane of existence. Whether there's another life after death, be it some kind of heaven or reincarnation, I can't say for certain. But regardless, the existence of death should be a reminder to everybody to make the most of their lives.

Name: Agumon
Personality: When I tried to give him a name, he said he already had one. I guess if that's what he's always gone by, who am I to change that? That's just who he is, I guess. He seems very full of pride...but very stubborn and thickheaded. But he has a real heart of gold. He apparently lives to fight, and fights to protect not just me, but everyone. His goal is to become the strongest there is so that he can properly protect those who can't protect themselves. Though...from what I can tell, he still has a long way to go. He's strong, but his actual combat prowess seems...very lacking overall. Kind of weird, when you consider just how much he tries to pick a fight wherever he goes....

Ferrin's tail planted itself on the ottoman, starting to look around the room. The longer he looked, though, the more confused he seemed to get, perfectly shown right on his facial expression. Nothing was making sense in this room. The fire wasn't any warmer here than it had been when he first stepped into the room, the lighting didn't match the sources, and...wait, weren't there supposed to be windows...? Something definitely wasn't right here. And he needed his answers before they got started. However, as he turned back to the door, he heard a soft click as the door behind them was pulled shut, and then locked in place. His eyes widened a bit, and he jumped back to his feet again.

"Whoa, wait a second," he said, moving to the door, grabbing the handle and turning, yanking on it, finding that it was, indeed, locked tight. He might be able to break it down if he really needed to, but he definitely didn't want to resort to that. However, he did let out a frustrated growl. "Hey, what is this!?" he would call at the door as he pulled at it to no avail.

However, when Arma spoke up, he turned back around to face the others again. "...Escape?" he said. "Ugh...oh c'mon, and here I was thinking...." He then shook his head. "Great. Not really what I was expecting, but...."

The Scorchio's words trailed off there as his attention was grabbed by the nearby bookshelf; or more specifically, just above the bookshelf, where glowing words were beginning to form....

"T...Tri...al...of...wi-wisdom...?" he murmured lowly. "Is...is that what that says? What does that mean?"

This also means that he is largely reserved, keeping himself and his own emotions in check while maintaining an outward appearance of professionalism. His overall goal is to appear friendly, approachable and unjudgmental, largely due to a desire to help others with problems that they might possess. However, due to a desire to prove himself to others, he is also a bit of a perfectionist, and this leads to a strong lack of desire to make mistakes. This can lead to him becoming very indecisive when an outcome is something that is difficult to predict, or when there's simply too many variables to consider.

History: Hideaki Saitou, child of the married partners of the "Reversal of Fate Law Offices," always lived a rather sheltered life. As his parents owned a very successful law firm, they were always quite well off. However, this did to lead to one small issue for him: He was being funneled by his parents into their career, and since he was being homeschooled by private tutors, he didn't even have other kids to learn from that this wasn't necessarily what he had to do. As a result, he dedicated most of his life to his studies, and other relevant skills. He was also taught to maintain professionalism in order to make sure he never did something embarrassing in public. He quietly and obediently did as his parents instructed, even as the work began to pile on him and become rather overwhelming. His schedule was usually so jam packed throughout the day of a combination of studying and physical activity to keep him fit and healthy, that he barely ever had any time simply to himself. The only thing that got him through this these days was his interest in chess, which he could play online at any time through a specific program. This was the one game they tolerated him playing, since it helped him hone strategic skills that would help him in the real world.

Little did he or his parents know that this game was going to be the turning point for him.

Once his parents realized that allowing him to play this game with others was actually helping him develop, they leaned into this rather heavily. One day, they ended up purchasing something for him--an Omniphone running the "Silver" system--one day when they decided that they needed to go on a business trip. At this point, they trusted Hide to keep to his usual schedule, and departed, leaving him on his own at the house, with the occasional tutor showing up for whatever lecture they were to give him that day. The hope for this gift was that he would no longer be locked to a desk in order to play chess with people online, on top of now having a far more reliable method of communication with them while they were away. However, in their haste, they failed to account for one problem. With this amazing new device in his hands, Hide was no longer confined to his home and nearby locations.

With awe in his gaze at every new discovery, Hide would spend a lot of his time scanning the Internet instead of playing chess, and eventually, he found something that intrigued him. A concept for monsters that lived in the digital waves of today's society, Digimon. The concept fascinated him, and he dug deeper into this in particular, finding old videogames, merchandise, and even a collectible card game of sorts. He nodded to himself and, for the first time in years, abandoned his studies in order to make his way to a local store and acquire some of these products for himself; luckily, he had been very frugal with the money he'd been making on the side from working for his parents' law firm. He bought a few things, most notably a few boxes of trading cards, and brought them home to open and play around with for a while. After a while, he decided to take his next step. He had been hesitant to buy something that he'd need to maintain over time thanks to his busy schedule, but his curiosity was simply too strong to ignore. Eventually, he couldn't help but buy himself a pair of Digimon toys, a Digivice: and a Vital Bracelet V-pet of his own.

When his parents returned, however, they were not pleased with his lack of progress. They decided to double down on his schedule, but he still found time to enjoy his newfound hobby. And thanks to his extra time working at the firm now, he was able to save up enough money to replace his Omniphone with a more updated model that was recently announced....

Other: Due to his experience with the game of chess, as well as reviewing games from the Digimon TCG and putting it into practice with his own deck, he has a very tactical mindset. He is a skilled strategist, but usually only when there's plenty of time to think about his next moves in advance.... He also has developed a fondness for Fighting games, though he simply watches them and would never play one himself; they're just too fast-paced for him. But the thoughts and strategies that must be going into each player's every move began to fascinate him.

D.N.A.: Digivice: toy was the first real piece of Digimon merchandise that Hide could call his own. Since he took such a late interest in Digimon, this was what caught his eye at the time, and was all he could get under the table so that his parents wouldn't find out. During the fusing with his Omniphone, the device took Hide's downloaded videos of old Digimon videogames for him to watch in secret on his own time (most notably the Rumble Arena games), as well as footage of him at school putting together his first ever Digimon TCG deck, based around Greymon lines. In addition, however, was Hide's personal journal that was locked through a password, in which he talked about his stresses, and his desires for every person in the world to be treated with fairness and equality.

Other: Agumon does little more than fight and train; if he has interests in other areas, he has not bothered to explore them, and is instead focused on dedicating himself to becoming the strongest Digimon. In addition, he dislikes the idea of being nicknamed, saying that he already has a name, and isn't going to accept a "stupid pet name."

Personality:
+ Chivalric front, behaves in a very knightly manner.
+ Very chauvinistic, especially with Hide and his goals.
+ Puts the well being of others before himself, due in part to a belief that he can handle anything better than others.
- Massive superiority complex, coupled with a love for showing off. Especially for the ladies.
- Is not afraid to do whatever it takes to achieve victory if he can avoid getting caught doing it, no matter what trickery this might involve.
- Very antagonistic to those that he doesn't approve of; especially his rash companion, Agumon. He only stops (temporarily) when Hide tells him to.

D.N.A.: Vital Bracelet Digivice V V-Pet was the most recent Digimon-related purchase Hide made, due to the fact that he could hide it as an exercise monitor and healthcare product. Veemon's data is comprised mostly of Hide's schoolwork, his schedules, as well as records of his online chess matches to study for his own self improvement.

Other: Veemon loves to mock what he sees as Agumon's "idiocy." He gets a bit of a thrill out of antagonizing specifically Agumon due to his reactions, and especially enjoys taking opportunities to mock Agumon's battle prowess in some way.

D.N.A.: Digivice: toy was the first real piece of Digimon merchandise that Hide could call his own. Since he took such a late interest in Digimon, this was what caught his eye at the time, and was all he could get under the table so that his parents wouldn't find out. During the fusing with his Omniphone, the device took Hide's downloaded videos of old Digimon videogames for him to watch in secret on his own time (most notably the Rumble Arena games), as well as footage of him at school putting together his first ever Digimon TCG deck, based around Greymon lines. In addition, however, was Hide's personal journal that was locked through a password, in which he talked about his stresses, and his desires for every person in the world to be treated with fairness and equality.

Other: Agumon does little more than fight and train; if he has interests in other areas, he has not bothered to explore them, and is instead focused on dedicating himself to becoming the strongest Digimon.

- War Driver: Charges power into his Dramon Destroyer Gauntlet before bringing it down with one powerful strike. The longer it charges, the harder the hit.
- Shield of Courage: Uses the Emblem on his back wings to form a shield in front of him for defense.

- Trident Gaia - The central blade of his Dramon Breaker sword is removed, and then the sword "shell" attaches to one of his wrist gauntlets. Energy is then absorbed from his surroundings and gathered within the blades before being fired.

- Victory Charge - The Dramon Breaker glows with accumulated energy, and then it is swung in order to deflect a projectile attack.

+ Chivalric front, behaves in a very knightly manner.
+ Very chauvinistic, especially with Hide and his goals.
+ Puts the well being of others before himself, due in part to a belief that he can handle anything better than others.
- Massive superiority complex, coupled with a love for showing off. Especially for the ladies.
- Is not afraid to do whatever it takes to achieve victory if he can avoid getting caught doing it, no matter what trickery this might involve.
- Very antagonistic to those that he doesn't approve of; especially his rash companion, Agumon. He only stops (temporarily) when Hide tells him to.

D.N.A.: Vital Bracelet Digivice V V-Pet was the most recent Digimon-related purchase Hide made, due to the fact that he could hide it as an exercise monitor and healthcare product. Veemon's data is comprised mostly of Hide's schoolwork, his schedules, as well as records of his online chess matches to study for his own self improvement.

Other: Veemon loves to mock what he sees as Agumon's "idiocy." He gets a bit of a thrill out of antagonizing specifically Agumon due to his reactions, and especially enjoys taking opportunities to mock Agumon's battle prowess in some way.

My initial idea was for the Ultimate forms to Jogress into the Super Ultimate form, where WarGreymon is the base and gets upgraded with Magnamon's golden armor and power of light to empower WarGreymon's already-present ability to gather environmental energy. And that the Dramon Breaker being a perfect representation of the two combining their powers, with WarGreymon's Dramon Destroyers making up the blade and Magnamon's golden armor making up the hilt and modular components of it~ But that's all running on the assumption that these Digimon are fine to begin with, so I'll wait and see what you all think xD

Digimon Maze Mansion

@tobiax I suppose I could give this a shot. I haven't seen Ghost Game (though I do want to) and my knowledge on anything V-pet related is vague at best. I once had a D-Tector from Frontier when I was a teen, but I know that that was very different from the D-Scanners and other V-pet toys. I kinda passed on this when I first say it before because I tend to stray from "Advanced" for making writing feel more like work than fun...plus, I usually don't like horror-themed settings for RP as much, since that's a genre I don't enjoy much. But I'm kind of desperate for Digimon RPs that'll stick, since I've been on such a Digimon kick ever since I started Hacker's Memory. xD

Luckily, though, I'm used to the Digimon videogames, so I'm very familiar with the concept of branching Digivolution lines. And I should be good with that.

I suppose if I'm to reserve a spot for my CS, it'll be The Lieutenant and The Classic. Because those are the archetypes that most closely resemble my favorite Digimon OC and his partner Digimon. xD

EDIT: Also, unfortunately, Woodmon would be a Champion-level Digimon, not a Rookie. If you're looking for a Biowarrior type rookie, then Aruraumon, (Do)Kunemon, Floramon, Palmon, Lalamon, Tentomon, Wormmon and Mushroomon all jump to mind pretty quickly for me.

The Digital Expanse {Digimon x Megaman RP}

Greetings! You may call me Digi~ I am from that Interest Check you made, but I Figured I'd post here instead to maybe bump it to the front so that you could get more attention. xD

I know almost nothing about the Battle Network series, though I did play the original Starforce in its entirety. Which I just remember thinking was Battle Network, but turned 90 degrees and with electronic space alien creatures that got stronger when merging with a human instead of just raw computer programs.

I also tend to avoid larger group RPs when possible, but I am not gonna lie. I have been on a bit of a Digimon kick lately, and am kinda desperate for an RP that'll stick. So I'll give this crossover a shot and hopefully I can make this one work if you'll have me. xD I haven't seen the concept of a Digimon/Megaman crossover RP even though it seems...like a really obvious combination in hindsight. Should be interesting to say the least.
