Another quick question. Can I bring Samoa, Tonga, Cook Islands into this? I am betting no one would want them, sad as that is

I was going to apprehensively say "no". But then I looked at the history for the Samoan islands and given the time-line divergence they could still run them. Not sure on the Cook Islands or Tonga. I'd prefer not unless sometime around the First World War they were administrating them. And remember, in some ways France still has some colonies too in the Pacific Islands in the region.

Good luck m8 If you need to I'd recommend getting in touch with Feo/Shyri since he's Britain. You can corroborate on details not otherwise mentioned in the lore summaries. And maybe come up with a long-term plan for the both of you. Can't have any disgruntling stories.

Yeah I know. I forgot New Zealand. I think someone told me the PoW map found its way to a blog of maps that left out New Zealand. We pretend Kiwi land is there, knowing it probably can't amount to much. Especially with the British Empire and the Commonwealth basically defunct. Although last I checked Australia was approaching Britain to set the Commonwealth of Nations back up and secure them some protection and relevance.

Kinda-sorta. At this point there's so much that's gone on in active and pre-lore that it's not possible to really make something from the ground up. It can't be totally fantastical and it has to be rooted in something. And the point of time-line divergence here is at 1914, the further you get from that though the more something can be deviant. And we had a Philippines. But the player for that got tired of the slow pace of the RP. The country too does come with some pretty heft lore already written, so it's not nearly as flexible as you'd hope.

Colonial

I should probably do a map of Upponhill too, and I'll fill it in with buildings and stuff as we go along with the RP. That way we have a consistent idea on where what is and who lives so we don't ever slip up later. I could probably sit down to it tomorrow morning between waking up and going out on my long drive to Lansing. In the meantime, I'm looking at pictures of Uyghur things to prepare for a PoW post. Or rather, continuing it.
