Personality: Jae is kind of a stand-offish guy that never goes out of his way to appeal to people. He stands for whatever it is he stands for and does not budge. While this has caused problems in the past it is not necessarily a bad thing (in his eyes) as standing for what you believe in is a good thing to him. His upbringing as a child was rather traditional and he wasn't allowed to stay out late for example. However the saying that strict parents raise sneaky children is very true, and Jae is no exception to the saying. At the young age of 16 he took up smoking as an (expensive) habit. He got involved with some more shady people and gradually his life declined until his parents decided it was time to set him on the straight path.
Admission into the boarding school was seen as 'lame' at first by Jae but he quickly adapted, realizing that despite the fact that the school was more or less presented as a prison at first, he was actually more free to do as he pleased as long as he abided by school rules. Of course, those rules would still go broken at times, but not nearly as often as when he lived at home.
Despite knowing that most of his habits are not that good, he is too stubborn to give any of them up. This is another trait that people tend to think of when they think of Jae. He is very goal oriented and ambitious, and will generally do his best to suit his (own) goals. What this looks like to the outside is that he is unwilling to change these goals or his position on them.
Appearance: Jae wears his hair kind of long, longer than most other guys around. However, he thinks it kind of suits him. Perhaps he will cut it one day. Perhaps not. Who knows? Regardless, features wise he has a sharp jaw, which is characteristic for him since he has not got too many other facial features that set him apart. For a guy of Asian descent he has slightly larger lips than the average, but that is hardly a recognizable feature at any rate. There are large amount of scars running cross his face, varying in size and notability. Two of the more noteworthy are the one that runs across his (right) eyebrow, which prevents hair from growing on a slight streak through his eyebrow that gives him a 'mean' look at times, and a small 'set' of 2 crossed scars on his chin. Neither of them are important and you would only notice the latter if you were close.
As for his body, he is somewhat well toned due to his activity in the gym and his time spent with the karate group. Never the less he is not too tall, standing at about 5'7. While this is 'short' for American standards, his Korean descent explains it. For Asian terms, specifically Korea, he's spot on on the average. His arms are toned well enough, but his body and legs lack any 'definition'. No, he's not a model with a sixpack. Pretty average guy in general, who just spends some time doing sports.
As for clothes, he generally dresses quite smart-casual. Some slacks, a black jacket and something underneath that that is up to the imagination. Generally underneath that he wears his black and white slip on's. However as he changes his clothing based on mood and day activity, the apparel he wears can change quite easily.

Martial arts club: Regular member with some 'sway' as he's a senior to most of the members, that's for sure.

- Attending ceremonies. Something about them makes him feel good.
