It's not like Jared intended to get hosed by a water spell. Besides, the Large Body is kind of just a distraction from the Turquoise Marches, their water spells combined with the extremely cold climate making them the real threats in this fight.

You think he's got it bad? He's not the one that just got hosed down in water and is very likely suffering hypothermia right now because of it. <_<

Kingdom Hearts: Darkness Reborn

Having been in the lead, Jared was first on the scene. With a swing, he arced his spear in a sweeping blow at some of the flying ones, but they managed to float out of the way. He suddenly had the suspicion that this wouldn't be quite as simple as the creatures on Lunaris proved to be. He saw one of them charging up with magic and had to leap out of the way to avoid being impaled by the icicle it shot down at him. Just then he heard a gunshot and the one that had fired off the spell was knocked back and vanished in a similar manner that it had appeared. And then, some invisible force began forcing another dark blue one closer to the ground. Perfect. Jared jumped on this opportunity, lunging as fast he could and successfully impaling the Heartless on the blade of his spear, it too disappearing in much the same way as the other.

At this point he might have focused on the big one, but the two lighter colored fliers were now directing their attention squarely on him. They looked slightly bigger, which probably meant they were more powerful in some way. And boy were they! The first one cast a spell that unleashed a brief torrent of water like a fireman's water hose. The spray of water was too fast for Jared dodge, and the liquid nature of the water made it impossible to block or deflect so he had no choice but to take the hit, the spray knocking him off his feet and into the snow and ice below him. He staggered to his feet as quick as possible, but his new-found wetness made him even colder than before, as he was now visibly shivering violently and could barely hold his weapon straight as a result. Still, he fought the pain of the cold when he saw the second was about to use its spell and threw his spear at it as hard as he could. The weapon lurched through the air and embedded itself in the chest of the Heartless before it could cast its spell, causing the thing to stagger back and cancel out the charge of its magic.

Then he noticed it. The other one turned around! Its aim was now directed at the young man the soldiers called a prince. The prince stood in wide-eyed surprise, frozen in terror as the Heartless began making its move, "Oh no you don't!" cried Jared as he lurched forward, finally summoning the keyblade and throwing it squarely at the creature only to quickly call it back to his hands and repeat the throw two more times, "Eat this!" he shouted upon performing the last throw, a maneuver that was enough to jar it out of casting its spell but not quite enough to kill it. He could only hope that perhaps Simo's cover fire might finish it off before it could move to attack the Prince again.

PERSONALITY: Valter is a cold and calculating young man, and skeptical of everything that isn't a proven fact. In his mind logic is the ultimate tool that will bring about victory, hence his blunt and skeptical behavior. This does have the unfortunate side effect of making him rather unpleasant to work with, but his ability and skill are unquestionable in their quality.

BIOGRAPHY: TBD, but it will include the following factors:

-He's a born strategist, his father having been a famous one for the Dystopian Army.
-When they took over Dystopius, the cultists would have had to fight and kill a loyalist faction lead by Valter's father.
-Valter joined Harmonia not because he saw the error of his ways, but because his desire is to free Chernabog from the traitorous cult. Revenge is also a plus.

SPECIES: Demonic Creature (Wyvern)
PERSONALITY: It doesn't have much of a personality, serving only as Valter's mount in most cases. It is, however, very vicious in battle, its venomous bite serving as a potent natural weapon along with its razor claws and fangs. It also only obeys Valter, and will actively try to kill anyone else who tries to ride it without Valter's permission.

Er, I had a hard time deciphering how she was attacking, so I'm just going to have to ask straight up. Was she attacking the Large Body from the front? Because they're kind of completely invulnerable in the front and can only be damaged from behind. Plus... she took that thing down on her own in a single combo? True, Elim hit it with a Blizzard spell beforehand but I know from recent experience that it takes more than that to kill a Large Body at such an early level as this. Hell at this point it might as well be its own little mini boss by sheer force of how much HP they're known to have.

Kengo

Basic Information
Name: Kengo
Age: 18ish (Exact age is unknown)
Gender: Male
Homeworld: Not actually known. Considers Old Bastion his home.
Affiliation (light, dark, or other): Light

Physical Information

Appearance: A boyish teenager with a carefree expression, Kengo has deep, dark hair with an ever-so-slightly tint of indigo. It's long, though not exceedingly so, and almost always worn in a ponytail of some sort, save for maybe a few stray bangs here and there. His eyes are usually kind and curious in their expression, and pure brown in hue. He stands at an average height, just over five feet tall, and weighs just a bit under a hundred-eighty pounds. His physique, while not overly muscled, is instead well-toned and lends itself well to a more agile and cunning fighter rather than strong and burly.

Casual Attire: He has a near skin-tight shirt with sleeves that stop just past the elbows. It's mostly dark grey in color, save for a curiously X-shaped area across the chest which is white. Lower down he wears what can only be described as "poofy" trousers, as if the legs of a kimono had been trimmed to just above the ankles and then tightened at the hem, and black, white, and red laceless shoes on his feet. Over that he wears a "coat" of sorts, not really a coat as it has short sleeves and is left opened save for the center, which is kept closed by a leather belt. The coat is white in the middle, and red on the top and bottom, with yellow-gold accents along the hems. The coat also possesses white, decorative fur along the collar. Finishing off the attire is a pair of dark, leather, finger-less gloves on his hands.

Battle Attire: He doesn't change much from his casual attire, save for the addition of minor armored bits worn over the torso but still underneath the coat. His shoes and trousers are naturally replaced by more armored boots and greaves for protection.

Personal Information

Personality: Kengo is, for the most part, a kind-hearted kid not afraid to stand up for what he believes in. He's also a swift learner, claiming to be able to learn more about his opponents as he continues to fight them until eventually finding their weakness and exploiting it. Such ability is the mark of a potentially brilliant strategist. He despises bullies, and corruption even more so, occasionally letting his kinder nature get the better of him and picking a fight with anyone who victimizes the innocent. There is more to Kengo than this, though, as seen in the very rare occasions where he is truly angered by something. His expression changes from it's usual appearance to one of an ice-cold bloodlust, apparently symbolized by a change in his normally brown eyes, them instead appearing to be a more yellowish-gold.

History: Where Kengo originated from is a vast mystery, the simple truth of the matter is that his original home world cannot be determined. Whether this means it fell to Darkness or was swallowed by the World Eater, no one really knows. However, the circumstances of his birth are not all that important in the grand scheme of things. Rather, his story truly begins on a cold night some sixteen or seventeen years ago, when Master Lao discovered a baby boy no older than one or two years old among the outskirts of Old Bastion, seemingly abandoned. But the boy himself was not what caught the Master's eye, rather it was the silvery Keyblade the child clutched in his arms like a sort of teddy bear that piqued his interest. Wondering if it was truly possible for a child so young to have a strong enough heart to summon a Keyblade, Lao took the boy home hoping to locate his family, but would never find them.

And so he came to raise the boy himself, as well as train him in the way of the Keyblade, giving him the name Kengo. During this time, Lao discovered a gift in the young Kengo, a sharp instinct that allowed the boy to learn as he fought. But there was something else in Kengo the Master had not expected, Darkness that seemed to lurk deep within the boy's heart and pour out in times of great emotional stress. It made the lad a potential danger, the Master knew, but he could not simply abandon him as his previous family presumably did. Instead, Lao devoted Kengo's training to keeping him focused and in control of his feelings, so that whatever Dark powers lurked inside young Kengo's heart could not consume him, or worse.

Notes: D-Mode, by its very nature, is not easily controlled and is often unpredictable due it essentially being a rage-triggered berserk state.

Finally I was able to complete Kengo's history now that I know the Light Master's name. It's not as long as I would have liked but it gets the job done.

Sure. I've had my idea for a character for a while now so I say "Why not?"

Our help? Thought Jared as he briefly pondered Simo's suggestion. As much as he would like to help with whatever this ice age was, magic was something he just didn't understand that well, "Wish I knew how. I salvage shipwrecks for a living, this sort of thing is totally beyond me..." he said to Simo as they all walked. After that he stayed quiet for a bit, listening to the crunching of their footsteps on the snow and ice. From somewhere in the town, an alarming shout was what got Jared's attention.

"They're attacking again! Guard the Prince!" it came from the direction of a castle that Jared imagined would have looked prettier if not for the jagged icicles that protruded from it's roof and walls. Simo was right, this was definitely not natural. But there was no time to think about that right now. Jared spotted the source of the shouting, soldiers in uniform stood their ground, holding halberds or crossbows and preparing to go to battle against... whatever it was they were shouting about. There were seven of them in total, one of them fairly big and with a round body, and flanked by a half dozen smaller creatures that seemed to just float in the air. The floating ones all had conical shapes and pointed hats for heads, but four of them were aquatic blue and the other two were more of a striped, icy blue. However, all the creatures sported a heart-shaped emblem on their chests. The very same one found on the armored creature that attacked Lunaris.

"Heartless!" said Jared sharply to others, pointing to the emblems before brandishing his spear, "Come on, let's go help!" and with that he broke into a run, charging right past the soldiers and into the fray. He'd chosen to wield his spear instead of the Keyblade because he thought it best not to show it off everywhere the group went.
