Think I might have underestimated the power of Shotlocks...

This is sudden, I know, but new rule: you can't learn a Shotlock unless you know both abilities on the Command Meld. In the case of Meteor Shower (the Shotlock Card went for) that would be either Thunder/Fire, Thunder/Strike Raid, or Zero Gravity/Blitz.

Again, I know this is a sudden change, but it struck that there are powerful Neutral Shotlocks that, according to the previous ruling, could be learned as early as right now, which didn't seem balanced when I thought about it, hence the knew ruling. Sorry for any inconveniences that may cause anyone.

EDIT: Changed Jared's Vortex to Sonic Blade. No more changing the Minor Ability now, I promise. xD
Also, feel free to add an Ability section to your CS like I did, and organize it whichever way is most convenient for you.
Shotlocks are considered Major Abilities for the purposes of when they can be learned. Since most of them are Elemental, the stipulation will be that you have to have to know, say, Fire, to be able to learn a Shotlock like Flame Salvo later on. If the initial Spell levels up (Fire to Fira for example) then the corresponding Shotlock (Flame Salvo in this case) will also "level up" and be able to deal more damage than it did previously.

Also, yes, you can make up Shotlocks. But for the purposes of when they can be learned, they must always be counted as a Major Ability.

Hope that cleared some things up.
Anyway, Jared's sheet has been updated with his new abilities. They are Thunder and Vortex.
Minor/Major Abilities are not terms the game uses. The game just you learn abilities as you level up. Since we're not using levels, we're instead learning abilities at fixed points in the plot (ie defeating a boss). Just search khwiki.net for abilities learned by Sora or other characters. You could also make up an ability (like Elim's Blue Magic) provided you are fair about whether you consider it a Minor or Major ability.
Made some adjustments to the opening post of the OOC. They are:

-A "Story so far..." segment giving brief summaries of the events of the RP as they occur. This is so we won't have to click through page after page to remind us of things that previously happened. Or for an outside reader to get an idea of all that's happened so they don't have to read a backlog of posts if they don't want to.

-And a copy of the concept for Major and Minor Abilities that I mentioned a couple pages ago.

Speaking of Abilities, since we technically defeated the Guard Armor (it's an Opposite Armor now) the World Boss for Lunaris has been cleared. Congrats everyone. In case you don't know, "World Boss" will be a term I use to refer to the Boss fought at the end of a World's storyline. Yet another concept borrowed from Renose (maybe I should be paying you royalties at this point? lol). Anyway, from this point onward, worlds we visit will generally have two Bosses: A Mid Boss and a World Boss. Sometimes there will be more than one Mid Boss if the plot calls for it, but only one World Boss. Anyway, defeating a Mid Boss is rewarded with a Minor Ability, while World Bosses give Major Abilities.

Yes, that includes the Guard Armor we just defeated. So you can go ahead and add a Major and Minor Ability to your CS as reward for beating it. Bear in mind this is the ONLY occasion where both a Major and Minor Ability are learned, all other Bosses will give one or the other, never both.
Jared watched in amazement, his sudden attack seeming to giving others a sort of second wind against the creature. Someone hacked at the creature with swords, while another continued shooting at it from their position on the roof. Finally, the last one seemed to transform his weapon somehow. Jared could have sworn that it had once been a sword but now it was somehow a hammer. The youth charged the creature headlong and made a strong leap at the creature's floating torso. It then hit Jared what he was targeting. The key-thing! Since it was apparent that the key-shaped-thing had more effect on these creatures, they must have figured that striking the key deeper into the torso would allow a greater amount of damage to the creature.

And for the most part, it did. The Guard Armor reeled again, all its parts trembling as if in great pain. Slowly, but surely, the creature looked like it was beginning to... dissolve, or melt into darkness. It looked like it was finally defeated. Even the Key-weapon vanished from its place in the creature's torso, doing so in a similar flash of light from whence it first appeared. Thatch was ready was cheer for a hard fought victory, and he even started to, "Yes! We did it! We-" but his eyes widened, and he stopped himself mid-sentence. He looked in horror as the puddle of darkness began moving around the nearly dissolved armor parts, filling them with dark energy and restoring their forms. In a single, terrifying moment, the creature they had fought so hard to defeat seemed to be alive again. Its body parts floated around, spinning as they seemed to reassemble the creature. Something was different this time, though. For one thing, the torso was now upside down, and what was once the legs were now the arms, and vice versa. Was this the same creature, or was it something else entirely now?

Now, staring at the young people (Jared especially seemed to be the center of its glare), the creature gave a roaring warcry, intending to crush the group in one fell swoop if not for a bit of intervention. Just before it could attack, a streak of light struck the thing from behind. It reeled in pain and quickly turned to face the new threat. There, staring down the creature like a couple of saviors, were two white robed figures. The Judges! The one who had cast the spell, the woman, was holding out her staff and making it glow with power, obviously she was preparing another powerful magic spell. The man standing by her side whirled his glaive into a stance and then shouted, "Why don't you bastards try fighting someone your own size!" he then looked to his partner with a confirming glance, "Seraph." to which the woman responded with a nod.

"Of course, Raiden. Protect!" she commanded, the light from her staff vanishing and then reappearing around Raiden's body as he charged the creature. The creature swung a hammer-like arm but the man just stood there and took the attack, blocking it head on with his weapon. How this one man had that kind of strength was anyone's guess, but obviously the magic spell of the woman named Seraph was a likely factor. After the block, the man named Raiden just wailed on the creature, relentlessly hacking at it with his weapon and showing no signs of weakness or fatigue. It was obvious that these two had fought many battles like this before, and were not to be taken lightly.

"What are ye waiting, for, lad?" called a familiar voice, Dion running onto the scene from the same direction the Judges had come. Instead of fighting he just roughly grabbed Jared's arm and took off down the street and away from the big brute of a Heartless, "All of ye, follow me!" he said to the others who had fought the previous creature, "You're all in terrible danger if ye stay here! Come!"
Whoops, forgot to answer the third question. Those other Heartless aren't gone yet, no, but I don't imagine Simo is going to just let them climb up to where he is before shooting them so it's not likely to be a big issue.
Yes, Moon-in-Sun can be captured now if you like. To answer your other question, no. They can always be defeated by other means, hence characters like Donald, Goofy, Leon, and et cetera being able to fight them on their own. I just imagined that a keyblade can do it a bit faster is all.
And I officially broke my initial promise to not give Jared a Keyblade. *sigh* Kinda feel guilty about that, but it was kind of necessary.

Anyway, I posted, now let's can this bitch!
