Appearance:

Mia can often be seen in her signature outfit consisting of an off the shoulder sundress with a floral print, sandals and a crochet sling purse she made herself.

Personality:

Infinitely feminine and seemingly in need of protection constantly, Mia seems out of place, as if she belongs in a different time. Friends soon learn she is too kind for her own good, up to the point where people often take advantage of her. While her upbringing has left her ill prepared for the harshness of the real world, it has taught her the value of strong emotional bonds, self-sacrifice and the willingness to carry others' burdens.

Mia is a gentle yet forceful presence. While some mistake her for being docile this is far from true. Mia doesn't back seat anything. She is very direct and forthcoming with her opinions and her ways, but she is not abrasive. She does it in a way that brings understanding, which leads people to her.

Ever the picture of serenity she is unflinchingly polite and soft-spoken. She hides her feelings of fear and sadness, while encouraging her friends to express themselves in her place.

Playstyle:

Restoring and healing her own cards. She is mainly a defensive player, relying on her opponent to exhaust their deck so she'll win.

Reputation:

Mia is generally well liked by everyone, but by World of End standards she is considered a novice player, often underestimated by her foes, or needing to be protected by her allies. She is not taken very seriously as a player, both because of her inexperience and choice of cards. Her deck does not exactly inspire fear in the hearts of her enemies.

History:

Mia was born into a middle class family who lived in a small secluded town, the nearest city being an hour away. Her father was a succesfull business man in said city, while her mother settled for a flower shop in the secluded town. She grew up under the wings of her caring but over protective older brothers. Every day was pretty much the same in the sleepy town. She saw the same people go about their day, met with the same group of friends, walked with them to school, went by the flower shop when school closed, to help out her mother.

Nothing really ever changed until her last year of high school. Her brothers were going to college in the big city and the game of World of End came back home with them. At first Mia didn't think much about it, just another game the boys played. She never really paid that much attention to it until one of her brothers gifted her a card.

Mia grew very fond of the card, keeping it in a frame on her desk. It didn't just stay at that one card however, soon her brothers build her an entire deck to use. Oddly Mia found herself liking the card game, way more than she expected to. Not only did her brothers include her in something usually reserved for boys, she could use this card game to prove herself. Prove there was more to her than the sheltered small town girl.

Warrior of End

The course of her life was predetermined by a prophecy. The first part of this prophecy detailed the circumstances of her birth, which were of such specific and peculiar origin that she was taken to a temple of priestesses, shortly after being born. The years passed and she grew up in this order of women. Under their watchful eyes Dione took her first steps on the journey to become the most celebrated oracle of her time. The gift of sight had been bestowed upon her at birth and was cultivated by the priestesses.

As a young woman grown, she filled her days receiving pilgrims at the temple, seeking her wisdom. Until one day a young man came to her temple. He was kind, handsome and unlike anyone she had ever met. They started seeing each other more often, talking, spending what little free time she had together. They went fishing at the foot of the temple, where a beautiful lake shimmered in the sun.

She knew very well it was never going to be more than that. Intimacy would rob her of her gift, the young man told her he understood. But as time passed, he grew resentful, blaming the Gods for burdening his lover with such a curse. Something inside him changed and what happened next even Dione could not have foreseen. The prophecy however had foretold this horrific event.

A gruweling and chilling vision of an all powerful natural disaster had left the young woman debilitated. The young man found her in this weakened and feeble state, but instead of helping her he did something else. Intoxicated and not in his right mind he took advantage of her, robbing her of her gift. He believed their lives would be happier without it.

Weeks passed and the young women's visions became unreliable, her words could no longer be trusted. She was run out of her temple, banished from the city. No one knows the truth, and no one knew what become of her.

Virtuous or Corrupted: Neither

Reputation: A revered oracle from ancient times, people came to her for council. No one dared to make important decisions without her advice. She was worshipped and cared for like a Goddess.

Appearance: Dione is a beautiful young woman with fair skin, flowing hair and sparkling eyes, though her beauty is often concealed under hooded robes.

Skills: - Visions of the future.
- Knowledge of multiple languages and sacred text.
- Magical potential which can be developed.

I was thinking about a Siren deck, because the way they control others (especially men) would tie in nicely with my Warrior of End.
The idea was to have a character who is kind of demure, too nice for her own good, always being told what to do by her older brothers/dad.
Her Warrior of End personage would be a femme fetale , independant and seductive.

Would an all female deck be possible? I am still figuring out the specifics but I have my mind set on that concept.
I also rocked an all female deck when I played Yu Gi Oh, so there's that XD
