Aaron heard a slight noise and rushed out, his rifle raised. "Who the fuck is there?" He said, his voice chilling. "I swear to god I'll blow your brains across the wall. Audrey, search the rows! Come on, I won't hurt you if you come out now. And drop anything you've taken." His cool grey eyes, scanned the store. He ran to the door and guarded it. "Just come out, you bastard."

He walked to the storage room, eventually finding the place where they had stashed the ingredients for this new entertainment. He grabbed and grinned.

Aaron selected the original trilogy of Star Wars. "Thanks!" He then walked out. It was about 8:00, and Audrey was most likely awake by now. He walked to his SUV and drove it back to the grocery store, locking the car and walking inside. He locked the doors behind him and announced his arrival. "Hey, Audrey! Guess what I got?" He smiled. He knew Audrey was going to be excited. "You'll like it!"

"Hey, Sarah. Can I have a couple DVDs? I brought a kitchen knife. It was the best I could find." He adjusted his coat, and shoved his hands into his pockets. "I can pay you with more later if you want. I'm flexible."
He said, his cool grey eyes watching her movement closely. He shifted the rifle on his shoulder a bit, showing his makeshift bayonet.

Aaron woke up as soon as dawn came upon him. He got frustrated at his lack of ability to stay up. "Why do I have to be guard?" He muttered, adjusting his beanie and scarf. He walked downstairs and took his gas mask off. When he entered the control room he opened the vents, sighing. He walked towards the storage room and picked up the nearest box of cereal. He also grabbed a bowl and a plastic spoon. All the milk had expired, so him and his sister threw it away during the first year. He poured out some of the cereal and wolfed it down, pulling on his boots. He decided to leave Audrey sleeping. I can go on this one myself. He left a note telling her where he had gone. He ran upstairs, and grabbed the rifle from the chair he had been watching from. When he arrived at the double doors to the small grocery store, he opened them slowly, rifle raised. The doors had been locked, but who knows could be outside. He walked slowly toward the only car in the lot, fishing the keys out of his backpack. The black SUV had been a main asset in their survival, and he would be devastated if it were to break. He hopped in the driver's seat and started the car. He pulled out of the parking lot and got onto the main highway, smiling at the Video Store. He had been wanting to find some videos for a while. They had a TV, a DVD player, and a portable generator, but no DVDs. He pulled into the small parking lot and locked his car after he got out. "Well, time to go looting."
