glad to know the idea isn't being scrapped, I'll be making a character for this. So this is kind of like x-men? When exactly would our powers first manifest, because in the beginning thing someone says "They don't even know they're in danger and I'm sure none of them even know what they are." so I'm guessing we'll be starting not having our powers then they pop up shortly after starting

"Thanks, and good call on giving him the water," he went to take a swig of the water but added first, "I'm Jason by the way." He had some water, hoping it would help clear his mind. It didn't really matter if it was poison or something, because if he didn't drink he'd die anyways. After his drink he went to head over to the apple dude and offer him some water for what was probably a painful mouth.
Jason was sleeping peacefully and having a nice dream, but was woken abruptly when he heard someone scream. He stood up quickly to try and see what was going on, but apparently he was too fast in getting up. The blood rushed to his head and he couldn't see anything for a moment. "What is this? What's going on?" As his vision cleared he saw he was in some kind of field with other. The person who screamed seemed to have taken a bite of an apple.
Jason tried to take stock of his surroundings but couldn't focus. His stomach was empty and his throat parched, but it seemed the apples were out of the questions. Before trying to get any real answers he had to at least drink something. He saw someone awake and with a bucket of water, thank goodness. He walked over to the man, "glad the first person up thought of water. We all need it, especially the other guy right now."

He led them through the corridors, not even noticing he was still holding her hand. After a few minutes of wandering he said, "alright, I didn't want to do this but I think we should use one of these maps to find our rooms. This may take forever otherwise," he let go of her hand and took a closer look at the map that was placed where they stopped. "Okay, now which way do we have to go...."

"Ha ha, yeah," Theo went over to do weights with Charlie, "I haven't really done any running since I got there powers. I guess it's like when you rub your feet on a carpet to shock someone." Theo picked a random machine to use as he spoke, "I wonder if my powers extend to more than just using electricity. Like, maybe I can run really fast like The Flash."

Theo wasn't really feeling weight lifting at the moment, so instead he just hopped on one of the treadmills and started jogging at a pretty good pace. Despite his smoking, Theo had pretty decent cardio. The smoking was just something he ended up picking up in high school and now did out of habit. After a few minutes of running Theo felt something on his skin, and looking at his arm he could see what looked like little lightning bolts jumping on his skin. "Well that's....new," Theo figured running must build up static electricity in his body, that could be a good trick. He hopped off the treadmill and put his hands on the ground, instantly feeling the charge releasing, travelling through the building and to the ground as best Theo could figure.

He gave her a warm smile and held out his hand, "Come on, we can do that then try and figure out what else is in this huge building."
