I'm real sorry about disappearing guys, my computer was out of commission for a while so I could only check on my phone. But I'm back up and running now
"You can fly? That's awesome," Jason said as Chloe dropped him on a branch. It also must have made her strong because Jason wasn't exactly a small guy. Unfortunately the excitement was immediately followed by dread as his friend started fighting with no real plan. The goblins may have missed them, but no, everyone wanted to be a hero. Jason looked at his skeleton card, he could only use that if they were retreating since he only had a few seconds to control it. Sure they'd have a cool skeleton ally for a few seconds, but then it would just be another monster to fight, one that probably was much harder to kill than the goblins.

"I got nothing unless we're deciding to retreat, I'm not a fighter." He called this out to his friends, then he realized Chloe wasn't a fighter either. Before he would decide to jump in to battle or not he called up his status screen. Maybe he could ask it questions, so while it was up he asked quietly, "how to regain mana." If he could get some mana back maybe he could summon a card that would be more useful now instead of his retreating card.
Well, good news, I finally posted. Bad news, my computer is having issues and I'm not sure how long that will take to fix
Morthos chuckled as Esmy put her hood up to try and hide her thieving nature. Hiding his identity was more work than it was worth, and over time Morthos had learned to be proud of his heritage. While he wasn't nobility, in a way he was, as all tieflings were descended from the nobility of the lost nation of Bael Turath. As they passed by the guards they weren't given any trouble but he knew the guards were giving him strange looks. Once inside though Morthos felt a lot more comfortable, among other adventurers, he just hoped they didn't hold a prejudice against tieflings like others he had met in the past. "Few more people than I thought there would be," he said to Esmy. That didn't bother him though, the money was kind of the least important part of the adventure. To Morthos the part he cared about was the learning experience.

Soon after arriving the king came out and gave his first little speech, and someone asked what the orcs plans may be. Morthos decided to give his theory, "I'm no expert, but if I had to guess they probably just want to conquer the kingdom and add it to their territory. They probably don't have a grand plan other than that, if history is anything to go by." Morthos had done a lot of reading on orcs in preparation for fighting them, the most powerful weapon he could wield was knowledge.
Sorry for holding this up, I haven't been home all week so I haven't really been able to post. It's fine to go on without me, ironically once I start work again next week I'll have more time to post
I'll try to get something up in the next day or two. I've been away from home a lot more than usual the past few days.
Jason was too busy reading his new card to notice the goblins at first, "it'll work but it's not something I'd want to use all too often." He was interrupted by Chloe whimpering his name. "Yes Chloe, what...oh," he didn't need to finish the sentence. He'd played enough games to know that goblins were bad news for level one characters which is what they essentially were. Some of the others were already thinking ahead and suggested climbing a tree, which wasn't a bad idea. Before that though Jason was going to use the compass for exactly one second just to get his bearings straight, "Cursed Compass of the Mind," the card lit up for a moment and was replaced with an actual compass. Jason knew the goblins were east of the group and which way the town was, and dismissed the compass before using more mana and his headache got worse. He had the feeling the compass was in his inventory, waiting to be used once more, but he'd check that later.

"Climbing a tree sounds like the best idea," he was grabbing his head with one hand, the card didn't specify how long the headache would last, hopefully not too long. "Maybe another card could help, I need a way to deal with these goblins," Jason focused and in the hand not holding his head another card appeared

Card Name: Summon Basic Skeleton
Description: Summons forth a Basic Skeleton with sword and shield. Will Serve it's master aslong as it's supplied with mana, drains 10 mana per second while alive. When it's master runs out of mana to supply it will automatically turn on all those near it attacking anything and anyone. The Skeleton will stay in existence until killed, then it will disperse into magic particles and fade away.

Checking his mana quickly he knew he'd only be able to control the skeleton for a few seconds before it did its own thing. Although if no one was near it it would just attack the goblins. But he'd think about that plan later, he put the card away and grabbed Chloe's hand, taking her to the tree where Kenji was. "I'll give you a boost, I'll be right behind you," he told her. She seemed to trust him so he was hoping she'd take the boost without any problems.
