@Mae ya put him on team darkstone, start out nice and easy
>Yes that’s Johnny
>He packs bandages, feeling like he might take some beatings on this trip
>Not only is the rifle good for shooting, it’s also good for swinging, baddies will feel the hurt if they stay close
It’s probably best I don’t have much movement right now, don’t wanna go running off on to danger all alone
>Fear moves to C5, feeling like the world is against him for some strange reason

@Mae does that mean I'm back to full DT though since I got a 1 from my bandito feature? I feel like that's a thing

@CollectorOfMyst I can take the lantern, I've got DT for days
>They call me Johnny, nothin' fancy, just Johnny
>I'm male
>I've got brown eyes, short black hair, and a nice healthy tan. I'm wearing a canadian tuxedo of jeans, a jean shirt and a jean jacket.
>I am a Rancher

Now I need to decide if I want to be able to heal myself or have a damage aura
>Fear is determined to move more than two gosh darn squares (watch me roll a 1)

Also I kinda wanna make another character, but I want like a tank. Who stands in the way and just takes hits like they're nothing, is there something like that @Mae?
@Mae ya he’s good on broken seals, also gonna hold off on making another character for now
@Mae I'll be sticking around, although I think Tim is going to mosey on off in to the sunset, might make a new character though
"We have watchtowers at all four cardinal directions," Morthos said to Jax, "Fear, you said the cave was to the east, right?" He nodded to confirm this. "Well okay then, to the east watchtower we go," Morthos left the manor and started leading the way to the eastern side of the kingdom, well, kingdom was a bit generous but he liked to think of it that way.

Shortly after they were on their way though someone called out, "Lord Morthos?" Morthos turned, it wasn't someone he recognized, but clearly she knew him. Looking around a few others were looking his way, almost hopeful. He sighed and turned to the rest of the group, "you guys go on, Fear will make sure you get there. Jax, maybe you and Yam working together can get a better idea of what's going on in that cave."

Before they could object he moved closer and said quietly, "look at them. They're scared, and now they see their young lord has returned. Just give me a few minutes, I'll catch up." He turned back and said to the gathering crowd, "yes, it is I, young lord of House Xerxes." The crowd started, well, crowding him, and he said what he could to help alleviate their worries about his mother. Morthos just hoped his friends could figure out a strategy, and fast, he didn't want to wait any longer than he had to.
Yam just gave a little hand wave at Jax's compliment as Fear answered her question. "Lady Rieta uses Charm magic to mentally manipulate foes and possibly drive them mad." Fear ran his hand through his hair, "she is very powerful, I would never say otherwise, but she's much better at supporting others, leading the foe in to an ambush, which is why it didn't make any sense that she would go off on her own."

Morthos bit his thumb, a nervous habit he had thought he'd kicked, I guess not. "We'll need to capture him so we know where my mom is, I doubt she'll just be out in the open," Morthos said to the others, "Jax if you can somehow recruit him to your roster then feel free." He looked at his friends around him, "I'll probably be counting on you guys a lot on this mission. My flames are strong but I'm not sure how much damage I'll be able to do to this guy. Get yourselves ready, we'll meet in the front hall, I'm going to go inform my uncle we're leaving." Before anyone could say anything else he got up and quickly made his way out of the dining hall.

Morthos took some secret passages around the manor and soon found himself at his uncles door, right across the hall from his mothers room. He knocked then opened the door, "hello uncle."

"That's Lord Damakos right now, boy," he sneered at Morthos.

"Count yourself lucky I'm calling you uncle and not something worse. We're leaving to take on the archdemon now, wouldn't care to join us would you? Demonologist like yourself, you'd probably be useful for once." This wasn't the way one should talk to family, but Morthos and his uncle had a very unique relationship.

"I'd love to, really," clearly he would not love to, but he continued, "but who will run the kingdom if I leave. I'm needed here."

Morthos clenched his fist tight, how he'd love to just punch his uncle, but he restrained himself. "We'll be back before you know it, with my mom, try not to ruin my kingdom while we're gone."

"Good luck with finding your mother," he had his back turned now, and he said it like he knew something Morthos didn't. Morthos left and closed the door, going to his mothers room before heading back down. There was something strange about the room other than the mood knowing that she was gone, but Morthos couldn't quite place it. He closed the door and headed down to join the others.
