Personality: While not the smartest person in a lot of situations Alcori is an above average mechanic, mostly because his species his species has been forced to rely on salvaged and repaired technology. He is not a fan of violence unless aimed at those who deserve it like the Galran, he also avoids killing if at all possible and tries to do it as quick and painless as possible whenever he does resort to it.

History: Alternia is not actually the original homeworld of the Alternians, that planet was destroyed by the Galran 3000 years ago. The few survivors fled to the first inhabitable planet they could find, a desert planet used as a junkyard by several other races. They named both the planet and themselves after the alternative to extinction they found.
Alcori was a member of a group of kids calling themselves explorers, mostly they "explored" they city they lived in. He was probably the one most serious about it or at least the only one who grew up to actually explore the planet, mostly in search of any machinery that he could repair and sell. On one of those trips he found symbols, that even he could tell were ancient, depicting some kind of giant lion on a huge metal door leading underground. Not understanding their meaning or value he didn't look into learning more about, nor did he bother to mention his findings to anyone.
