Powers/Abilities: No powers of his own, he is completely reliant on his equipment. He is however a briljant engineer.

Universe: Earth-1207. In this universe Peter didn't just lose his uncle to the robber but his aunt as well. As a result Spider-man took on a much harsher approach when dealing with criminals and didn't separate himself from the symbiote after it bonded with him.
History: Three years ago Herman was fired from Stark industries for spending company time and resources on personal projects. Determined to at least finish one such project he broke into his former workplace only to get caught by Spider-man who beat him up badly enough that Herman ended up in the hospital for two weeks. Afterwards he had to spend two years in jail. As a result he swore revenge on Spider-man who in the meantime boned with the symbiote. After he was released he created both his gauntlets and the sonic staff, but before he could use them he was taken from his dimension and recruited into the Exiles.
