Personality: While Ken isn't the most patient person ever, his tendency to arrive early so others don't have to wait for him often means he is waiting for others. He also can get way too absorbed in a task and spend hours on the same thing, but he is aware of that and makes sure to never poop-sock. He can't hyper-focus like that intentionally though.
Ken can also be quite curious about things he considers unusual and will sometimes ignore common sense in order to learn more about them.
Skills:
Fishing: Having grown up near a large river Ken is a decent fisher.
Swimming: For the same reason he an experienced swimmer and even knows in theory how save someone from drowning.
Bio: Ken grew up in a town located near a large river which naturally became a local hotspot for the children. Because the more dangerous parts were as fenced off as possible for a river by the city council no one drowned but there were still some minor accidents, like children falling in in the winter, which was one of the reasons why Ken's parents decided he should learn to swim.
Beyond that his life was pretty normal until Hajime showed while he was home alone surfing the web. Of course the appearance of a little masked monster with a wooden sword freaked him out at first but somehow the two ended up getting along before long. After several misadventures during which Ken kept the Kotemon hidden from his parents and others Ken ended up accidentally revealing his existence when he got curious about the creature and decided to see if anyone on the internet had answers for him, which the ATLAS agent that showed up on his doorstep certainly had.
Digimon CS:
Name: Hajime Gender: Male Personality: As befits a creature that never takes its mask off Hajime is kinda shy around strangers. He is by no means a coward though and is prepared to use kendo skills to defend the innocent. Unfortunately he sometimes overestimates his skill and challenges the wrong Digimon. When he realizes his mistake he is not too proud to run away unless that is impossible or he feels there is too much at stake.
Appearance and abilities:
Hothead : Headbutts the enemy with a flaming mask, or a flaming bamboo sword.
Thunder Kote: Charges his fist with electrical current and punches the enemy.
Before Simon could any leeway towards the tower a small familiar creature revealed itself. Even without his phone telling him what it was he would have recognized it as a Mettaur which at least explained the battle chip but in a way that raised only more questions. Still forcing himself to sound calm he addressed the girl again. "I have no idea what is going but that is an enemy from a video game I've played. We should be fine as long as we don't stand directly in front of it." Following his own advice Simon side stepped until he and the Mettaur were standing diagonally from each other.
Meanwhile either due to Simon's Omniphone sending some kind of signal upon detecting the virus or simply because some timer ran out Solarman began to wake up.

He was lucky enough that the experience only left him with a few broken ribs while another friend ended up blind in one eye.
After he was recovered and the mission they were on had failed it still took him a few months to find someone capable of actually teaching him instead of just explaining the theory behind the Four Major Principles. As such it took him about a year to master them.
Luckily the same teacher was also able to teach him the more advanced applications in another eight months and how to use Manipulation, Enhancement and Conjuration in half a year after that.

General Ability- Jax has mastered the basic and advanced application of Nen, and while he is an Emitter he can use Manipulation, Enhancement and Conjuration as well but has no experience with Transmutation or Specialism.

While he can switch them around he can't reload until he has fired every single one nor can he create any amount of them other than seven but gets to choose what type he wants. Impact bullet: This bullet has the most force behind it but delivers it in the form of a concussive blast with no penetrating power.
Homing Bullet: As the name says this bullet homes in on its target but can be blocked by anything capable of stopping a normal bullet.

Notable Personality Traits/Personality- Jax can't stand bullies of any kind and in fact became a Blacklist Hunter in order to deal with the stronger ones out there. He is naturally overconfident but his experiences have tempered that part of him and he will try to stay objectives about his odds, even if his trackrecord isn't 100 %.
He is patient enough to pull off stakeouts even if he does get bored during them and often multitasks by doing something simple to keep busy.
Past Affiliations or Experience- While he no longer boxes professionally he still visits his old gym to touch up on the basics.
He also stays in touch with his old Hunter friends Mitchel and Kyra even though both of them have surpassed his level, with Mitchel even becoming an One Star Hunter.

General History- While Jax had a tendency to get into fights more than his parents would have liked there was always a good reason for it. As such they eventually decided to let him learn boxing, in hopes the discipline would get him to stop picking fights. It didn't really take but his reputation had the same effect eventually.
At first he was planning to become a pro boxer until he heard about Blacklist Hunters, seeing as it a good fit for him due to his tendency to fight bullies and his own fighting skills he took his first hunters exam when he was 18 and failed because while his fighting skills and stamina were good enough hehe knew about wilderness survival.
Originally he wanted to just take a year to fix that by studying books on planta and camping out in the open but his plans were derailed due to the birth of Pasche and he stuck around to help his sister and her husband with minor stuff. By the time he was 21 he tried again and passed. His first jobs were rather uneventful but eventually he was initiated.
The first job Jax took after he learned Nen was the one where his hand got messed up. He was over confident as he went up against an Enhancer and ended up having his hand broken and getting captured. While he managed to escape after three days his target got away and his hand got damaged even more both due to lack of treatment and during the escape.
Since we were asked for ideas for NPCs, I decided to start with the most obvious choice given Pasche's backstory.
Also while I don't quite think Pasche is at the level of a Celestial Beast his hatsu would be rather appropriate for The Black Tortoise. So I just decided one of his goals will be to become The Black Tortoise.

That said he is better at parkour than at shadowing people, and only has experience with either in the city.
Discovery of Nen- After passing the Hunter's exam his uncle immediately taught him how to open and close through meditation which took about six months. It took him another year to learn the basics as well as En.
General Ability- Pasche of course has learned Ten, Zetsu, Ren and Hatsu. Of the more advanced techniques En is his best to the point where he can create a circle of three meters and hold it for about 70 seconds followed by In. He is still struggling to master Gyo, Ko and Shu and hasn't started on learning Ken and Ryu yet though he knows the theory.
Hatsu- Living Shadow: Pasche uses his own shadow as a medium for his Nen, allowing him to both solidify and control it as long as its both visible and connected to his body. While he is limited in the forms he can use his shadow is still somewhat fluid and he can increase it's range by decreasing the "mass" of the form and vice versa. While he feels whatever happens to his shadow damage isn't transferred. He is limited in what forms he can make his shadow take, as they must be of things that hold importance to him, though they can be symbolic or direct copies.
Forms Shadow Dog: A shadow that takes on the appearance of a German Shepherd. While it is completely solid and can use it's claws and teeth to attack, it has no senses and can only move the way Pasche controls it. Shadow Arm: A right arm made out of Pasche's shadow, it lacks the natural weapons of Shadow Dog but is as dexterous as a real hand and can bend in directions no human arm can.
Weapons or Equipment- Pasche carries a grappling hook for when he needs to climb something quickly that can't be done with just parkour skills and as a midrange weapon or way to pull opponents/objects towards him.
Since his uncle taught him some knife fighting skills he carries a a combat knife for when he gets into fights.
Finally due to a habit he developed before learning about Nen he carries several smokebombs to cover his escape in case a fight proves too much.
Trained Skills or Knowledge- His uncle taught him several skills that would be useful to have as a Hunter. Due to his natural quickness and small size stealth and parkour got the biggest focus. Parkour: Since being able to use the most effect route/method when dealing with rough terrain is always useful Pasche has been taught the basics of parkour. While only familiar with cityscapes he excelled at it and with the help of his grapplinghook can easily make his way across most rooftops.
How to shadow people: His small size and ability to take unconventional routes make it pretty easy for Pasche to follow people without being noticed as long as they can't use Nen.
Knife fighting: Pasche isn't the best or most experienced fighter but his uncle taught him the basics of how to use a combat knife.
Basic disguise skill: This is the weakest of Pasche's skills but he knows enough to slightly change his appearance, mostly by changing clothes, using make-up to hide his scar and a wig to change hair color. He can still be recognized by his voice and mannerisms though.

His red hair and the scar underneath his left eye.
Notable Personality Traits/Personality- Due to knowing how easy it can be to follow someone if you know what you're doing Pasche has developed a habit of briefly using En at random intervals when out in the open. He can also be quite stubborn when he really wants something, even if he knows it's dangerous but is willing to take the time to properly prepare for whatever he is chasing. During his free time he also likes to people watch from some unseen spot like the roof of a building.
Past Affiliations or Experience-
He has helped out his uncle with his detective/bounty hunter job as a trainee/intern at the small and relatively unknown organization "The Hunter/detective Agency" though he always thought he name was a bit too generic. Of course he was never brought along on any dangerous missions and in fact it was only after three months of helping out and training that he even got involved in a small fight which is how he got his scar.
Notable Relations- - Jax Albarn: Pasche's uncle and the person who taught him everything he know about being a Hunter, Pasche has always looked up to him. - Rowan Foster: Pasche's father - Anastasia Foster-Albarn: Pasche's mother
General History- While his parents and life were pretty normal Pasche idolized his mother's brother, a small time bounty Hunter, and loved listening to his stories. His parents were okay with it as long as his brother kept the more gruesome details to himself. Unfortunately for his family those stories had a bigger impact on Pasche than anyone suspected and when he was 8 he decided he wanted to be a Hunter as well.
His family was all against it and his uncle even stopped seeing him but after Pashe repeatedly tried breaking into his uncle's office or follow him when he had a mission in town they realized he wasn't gonna back down. His uncle decided to make sure his nephew would be prepared for the job by training him before Pasche even took the license exam. It still took about a month before they were able to convince Pasche's parents but after that his training began.
Of course that didn't include Nen training but Pasche was taught several useful physical and fighting skills over the course of the next two years with him finally being allowed to take the exam after his twelfth birthday.
