    Name: Marian Anderson.
    Alias: None.
    Age: 24.
    Appearance:

    Faction: Civilian.
    Occupation: Court Stenographer.

    Bio:
I was born and raised in Manhattan so it’s no surprise that I’m as knowledgeable about the streets as any of the other law enforcers out there. The only problem is that my dad won’t let me join the police force. ‘It’s too dangerous’ he’d say, ‘I don’t want to see you die’ he’d insist even though he allowed me to go through the academy; maybe in hopes that it would scare me away from the idea, but this valedictorian was far from scared. Though it seems like no one’s righting the wrongs in the city; the only place he’d let me even get _close_ to any action is as a Court Stenographer, type type type, type and more type, is all I ever do and while I’m not allowed to talk about the things I learn while I’m typing away on the funny looking keyboard… I learn a lot about the city, its people and just how corrupt the, so called, ‘ideals’ are. If my mom was alive, she’d be very disappointed at the things my father’s allowing this city, and it’s people to get away with.

Sure I enjoy the higher end of life and the finer things that come with it; fancy parties, big apartment flats and smoking hot cars. But knowing it comes from, well blood money, doesn’t exactly make one feel nice. I will share with you a little information. Something that I know that most people don’t… Robert Locksley is a pain in the a**. Whenever he was in court, it felt like he’d purposefully talk faster just to see if I could keep up, and smart too. I’d watch defense attorneys’ knees buckle in fear when he’d enter the room. It’s sad to see he’s not practicing law anymore (don’t ask me what happened, I don’t know), but it’s nice not to see his arrogant personality anymore.

I have noticed an increase in homeless people lately, which is sad in its own right. So I’ve made it a point to try to give whatever spare change I have to someone who I pass. I do see one however, that seemed to be pretty mobile as I run into him in quite a few places, one of my favorites was I was coming out of the donut shop and he held out his cup and instead of asking for change he asked for a donut. I laughed so hard that I gave him half of mine. I think he knows my route though, because every day when I go in for work, he’s begging by the courthouse so every day I drop off a donut to my beggar friend. It’s not money but it’s food right?

Personality: Rather hard headed and diplomatically argumentative, it’s not her way or the highway but she’s not afraid to point out flaws and the negatives. Has a certain charm about her that helps her get what she wants and plays the innocent/dumb blonde card really well. All and all, she’s a nice girl, just rough around the edges.

    Skills/abilities:
~A ridiculously fast typer, obviously because of her job.
~Memory based around vocabulary, either written or spoken; a photographic memory only for words if you will.
~Hand-to-Hand combat training thanks to the academy.
~Gun usage, prefers a hand-held pistol but for obvious reasons (thanks dad) it doesn’t happen often.

Family/Loves Ones: One father (Chief of Manhattan), mother’s dead. Siblings? Possibly… Someone wanna play a brother who joins the Merry Men?! I think that would be fun! Maybe friends with one of the female merry men? They went to school together or something?!

Other: Loves to gossip about the Merry Men and their actions with her friends outside of work. In work they’d get rather butt-hurt that their employees were happy with what the Merry Men were doing but it’s about time there is some justice out there! And she never misses church and confession with Tryone Tuck.

Sure I think that sounds like a good idea!

Adriana wasn’t a fan of getting called out so when the spotlight hit her as Jack began to talk, her face turned fire red and she gave a small, SMALL wave. Attention was not her favorite thing and yet here she was with a spotlight on her. Luckily it didn’t last long and the spotlight moved on and poor Adriana was able to breathe once again. How did he handle being in the spotlight?! That was so intense with all those… those eyes watching her. A sigh left her as she turned her attention to the stage and the show began.

Her whole being felt swept away by the music, much like when she listened to it on her headphones except it was much louder and shook her whole being. Soon she was swaying, almost dancing to the music as she closed her eyes and allowed herself to get carried away. As the Winter Snow song began, their hit single from the album and her favorite song. She began to sing along with Jack as he sang. Her body moving with the music and enjoying the sound; nothing beat seeing them live but since she couldn’t go with them everywhere she settled for the album.

The concert came to an end and the crowd erupted in cheers as the band took a bow before leaving the stage. The trio of girls made their way to the back as they met up with Crystal.

    “Come on, we’re leaving.”

    “We are?”

“Yes we’re leaving, going to my house than we’re hitting the club!”

“What? But I…” As Crystal dragged her away she waved good bye to the family of Jack’s and left. Unknown to her, Crystal took it upon herself to arrange with meeting up with the band at the club and tonight was going to be the night when Jack saw Adriana as a woman, not the girl next door. That and Robert owed her a few beers.

    ****

It was around 9pm when the girls arrived at the club and walked in like they owned the place… well Crystal did. The blonde haired girl with blue highlights wore a form fitting blue dress that stopped at her knees and hung loosely off of her shoulders. The dark color was a wonderful contrast on her pale body but nothing could hold a candle to the blonde walking in behind her.

“I feel really uncomfortable…” Adriana whispered in a sharp tone to her friend as they walked in, the blonde instinctively hiding behind her friend.

“I don’t know why, you look awesome. You said it was comfortable and you can run in those pumps. So why is it an issue now?” The question was honestly rhetorical because she knew exactly wh…

“You told me to try it on and give you an opinion. I thought we were playing dress up again. I didn’t think it was dress up and go out.” Her voice was slightly harsh as her friend stepped aside. Adriana’s long body was in a curvy fitting black halter top dress, her a necklace interlaced with the halter giving it more of a glamorous look it is and silver chains holding the fabric together up her thigh to her hip. To say the least she looked incredible and almost exactly like a model. She (and Crystal) were turning heads as they ventured towards the back room to the VIP section. “Why are we here? You’re not one to go out without some form of plan. And how are we getting into the VIP zone?”

    “Crystal Calkins and Adriana Menzel.”

    “Like we’re gonna…”

“Right this way.” The bouncer let them in without any sort of argument.

As Crystal smirked the blonde followed her closely in running a hand through her hair. What the hell was going on? When they entered there were some people around but not many and no faces she recognized. Unknown to her but known to Crystal, they had beat the band here. “I’m going to… get a drink…” Her voice was filled with a panic as she hurried to the bar and leaned against it. “Hi,” She said slightly embarrassed at her sudden rush. “Vodka and Pineapple please.”

While her friend panic and ran away, Crystal moved away from the entrance area and checked the clock. Robert said they’d aim for 10pm and it was about that time. Now she wanted to wait and see Jack’s reaction if/when he recognized a certain girl at the bar, oh and get her owed beers.

Black Widow and Agent 13 typed like lightening on the keyboards in front of them silently praying that they could change the direction of the incoming missiles. “Five minutes incoming.” Agent 13 shouted giving a time frame. Every twenty seconds she would call out a time. It was important for them to know how long they had. The more and more Arnim talked, the more distracted Steve seemed to become. “Captain we need you to focus.” Don’t get in your head Steve. Sharon’s silent plea didn’t go unheard as he finally broke his attention to where Brock called out.

“Two minutes and fifteen seconds.” Agent 13 called out as they took off towards the entrance. This crawl was nothing new for any of them as they quickly worked their way through the whole. By the time everyone reached the exit they took off running. “Eighty seconds.” Huff huff huff, “Sixty seconds.” Huff huff huff huff huff. “Thirty seconds.”

Whistling could be heard off in the distance coming closer and closer, “Fifteen seconds to impact.” Sharon screamed as they reached the gate and everyone made it passed it. “Five seconds!”

    BOOM

As Agent 13 had predicted the impact happened five seconds after she called out and the team was blown forward by the explosion. Luckily years of training helped as the team rolled to protect themselves from any damage. Sitting upright Agent 13 stared at the flames in front of them; had they not made it out in time, everyone would have died. But they were fine.

That evening, Sharon was sent home after Steve had left and the blonde climbed the stairs. A heavy sigh carrying her feet, she was still shaken by the situation but it was okay. She was alive, Steve was alive, everyone was alive. Stopping at Steve’s door she took in a deep breath, the pretext of seeing him this evening was to ‘make sure he was okay’ but really, she just wanted to be around him.

Raising up a small hand, she gave the door a knock and waited. Was he home?
How… how did the fail? Everything seemed to go just fine until the moment Daredevil and Black Cat were pounced. “Agh!” Black Cat’s distressed grunt filled the area as she was hit in the head with a heavy object. For the first time in a long time, Black Cat felt panic run through her as wrists were tied. No matter how much she and Daredevil fought, neither one of them were able to break free from the mounds of people that were on the two.

Soon they were led outside; Spider-Man seemed to be coming to as the two other heroes were dragged onto the season. The man talking introduced himself as Kingpin but the shift blow dealt to Spider-Man made her jump. “STOP!” She called out.

“Be quiet.” Daredevil muttered to her.

“STOP! If you want a hostage… take me.”

“Quiet!” The Devil of Hell’s Kitchen growled towards the younger woman only to find her stepping forward.

“If you want to make an example of those are not supposed to shove their noses into the business of others, take me instead.” It took a bit of convincing and any time one of the other heroes would attempt to out-speak her, she would speak louder to keep the attention on herself.

The arrangement was made, despite the desperate cries of the two other heroes Black Cat was led away for the freedom of her comrades.

    ***

It had been three weeks since Black Cat surrendered herself and her parents put out a panic search for their missing girl. And it was a bright sunny Saturday morning when the word began to spread on the street.

    “Black Cat is dead”

“Did you hear?! They underground is sending a message, a big message that superheroes will not be tolerated.”

“I can’t believe her out of everyone. Does anyone know who her real identity is?”

“They haven’t revealed any information but they’re removing her body from Times Square, if we hurry they might unmask her.”

Within time square, the body of Black Cat, suit and all were strung up along the main teleprompter of Times Square. The police and Fire department were lowering the body as a massive amount of people stared on in shock. “I guess the underground is series about the whole superhero thing.”, “I really thought we had a chance with the heroes around. I wonder if they’ll stop fighting crime seeing one of their own dead. “, “Do you think they’ll unmask her?”, “Maybe but I doubt they’d go public like this with it, she is the daughter of someone after all.”

Crowds of people swarmed into the square to get a look at the lowering body that was handed crucifies style from the television. All shapes and sizes watched this happen. Speaking of shapes and sizes; anyone who knew the body of Black Cat well would know that… that body was not hers.

Below among the crowd of people stood a bob-cut blonde haired woman in an oversized white trench coat, fashionable black high heels on her feet and a form fitting black dress under the coat. Upon her face sat a pair of large black circle sunglasses; a hand moved up, pulling down the shades to smirk up at the body. “Hm.” With that she turned, pushing the shades back up to protect her sharp green eyes.

The nameless figure moved through the crowd and began descending down the street. Normally people wouldn’t look the direction of the young sharply dressed woman and as she knocked shoulders with a tall young man she scoffed at him, at Peter Parker, a scoff on a possibly familiar set of lips before the blonde continued on her walk obviously irritated by the shoulder bump.
