I've elected to lurk around a while rather than jump right into applying. I have a few characters I'd enjoy playing -- and two CSes nearly finished up, sans sample posts -- but I don't really have any stories to tell at the moment. I'd rather be a passive observer and watch what y'all are up to, rather than jump in feet-first without a plan, eventually get stuck, and then vanish when the shame of being unable to write overtakes me.

So I guess consider this my Uatu application?
Alright, I'm still mulling over c

It's Nature Boy isn't it?

I'll fight you to the end, my friend. Public domain be damned!

... Is it Iron Fist? I have a feeling it's Iron Fist.

Surprisingly? No.

... although Heroes for Hire was once on the shortlist.
From what I saw, it was only ever an application. So continuity-wise, we'd be square, anyway. This was more a question of courtesy than anything else, really.
Alright! So, I'm honing in a few character ideas, but first I had an RPG etiquette question for the class:

One of my character choices is another player's (inactive) concept. I've sent them a PM about it, but it doesn't appear they've been active on the Guild in a while. How many of y'all would move ahead with the CS anyway, and how many of y'all would wait/move on to a different character? As it is, applying without permission feels a bit like hitting on a buddy's ex-girlfriend to me...

Add my name to the list of folks apologizing for inactivity. I don't even have RDR2 to blame. I'm just a lazy fuck who gets distracted easily.
Actually, now that I think about it I did have one issue with a barfight where I accidentally punched the piano player behind me due to the lack of locked melee targetting. I was pretty annoyed at the money I had to pay to clear my name there.

Again, I refer you to the sage advice:

Just kill all the witnesses guys.
