Can I just say I called it when the good rolls were going to stop when they got important?
I shall vote once I am back on my laptop, mayhaps post too.
Stukov barked back over the vox as the sniper chewed the Psyker out, rather unfairly in this case. Soon as the Sister opened fire, and the statues lost their cool, odds were they had all been rumbled anyways. He rebutted as the fighting continued and he paused to reload, ducking his head as he did so to allow fire over him without having to worry about getting his head shot off from behind, or from the Sister in front of them continuing to fire. "Snipes, if the bolter fire, screaming, and statues losing all sense of coy manipulation didn't tip off the rest of the blasted area than I highly doubt that the shockwave is seriously going to create many more problems at this point. Let's get out of this damned place in one piece, assign blame later." He saved the few remaining blessed slugs and buckshot he had left, considering these statues were, as Boss said, more grounded in the physical than immaterial. So it wouldn't matter nearly as much that there was active, holy disruption ripping through since once the crystal was gone, they were done. That, and he just did not have that much specialty ammo compared to contemporary.

The blinding fire from the pistol, Stukov noted, should have been, well, blinding. But the eye protection he was wearing seemed to flare into near darkness and return after the flash was gone, preventing him from being blinded. Stukov had been unaware of that little feature in the shades, so all the better as he couldn't decide whether Watchman punching a statue through the chest was sheer adrenaline on his part or something else. Either way, question later, fight now. It took the Armsman about three rounds, buckshot or slug, to punch through and destroy the crystal on one of these statues, demonstrated on the next one that charged him as he brought the weapon up again as the revolving cylinder snapped into place. First shot kicked into his shoulder and propelled the buck into its chest, second and third also both on target. The third punched through the failing stone and broke the crystal apart quite enough to disrupt its control, sending it to the ground and shattering into pieces. Which barely gave Stukov time to get a snap shot off to knee cap another assailing statue immediately behind it.

"Shit..." The next two rounds would not be good enough to put down the statue, but he had a plan to make up for that. He pumped the last two loads of buckshot into the damned statue's chest before throwing the shotgun back on its sling, drawing Foehammer and putting a slug clean through its chest. THAT put it down, and he lashed out with his bionic lower leg to trip up the next statue, reloading Foehammer with another slug and firing it into the back before bringing his bionic foot down through its chest cavity, smashing stone and crystal in one, very final thud. Re-holstering Foehammer, he saw the well of warp energy forming and unslung his shotgun, reloading as he kept by the Inquisitor, as Watchman had sounded off in orders, dropping to a kneeling stance again and opening fire, burning through ammo at a healthy rate. Might need to start looting for more weapons, at this rate, since it was clear this place was defended. Might be a conventional armory, or even a working piece amongst the weapons displayed. Ammo would still be a problem, but he would burn that bridge when he got there. "Watch your spacing! Got another warp trick building!"
Welp, throwing up another post then. Posts for the post god!

Holand really doesn't need a vox anyways, he can just yell across the whole hive city using his thick Russian accent.

And no one can proceed to understand a word he says through all the layers and other chatter!
Suppose good time to remind people in the current fight. Ben is wearing a leather jacket and gloves, and only Zhevon knows his left arm is bionic, so seeing him punch a gem to powder is probably slightly alarming for a second or so

That makes me sorely tempted to straight kick a statues chest out, but that ain't really Stukov, sadly.
Jerod nodded as the dark mage spoke through the first half of her statement, mentioning watching each other's backs and all the typical verb age that seemed to go between a newly founded group of soldiers, mercenaries, and other such individuals before marching off to war. What was unusual was what she said afterwords, that his remains would be used as a means of fund raising as a form of art, for when he falls in battle? Well, the mercenary had no intention of dying lightly enough that his remains were worth anything in that regard, he would not sell his life that cheaply, they would pay in magnitudes of lives to his single one. But there was a response needed right now, and he decided to not sweat the small stuff, in this case, and let the dark mage act however she saw fit in that regard. Besides, if he was dead, why should he care what happened to his carcass afterwords? He had this feeling thing wouldn't be that easy, in the coming months, but he would torch those bridges once they got there.

"Ach, ah don' really care w'at 'appens to ma' body once ah am well and rig'tly dead, so 'ave a field day t'en, savvy? An t'e names Jerod, a pleasure t' meet ye. But aye, ye watc' ma' back an' ah'll watc' yers, sure a' sure."
Atreides calmly listened to the information he needed to know get validated as the chest was opened and he collected his items. Hand vox, crude but useful if he felt like listening to his comrades in arms. Hive attire, familiar in appearance, as he threw that on and properly set the collar to maximize its property to hide his attire and equipment under, letting it set comfortably without having to worry much about exposing himself at all. He preferred a hood or head attire of some sort as well, but it would suffice until he could acquire such things. He was personally looking forward to getting back into the natural flow and crowd of a hive city and its inhabitants, it was easy to get lost and move in, but if you were familiar with them it was possible to track someone through with a bit of luck and skill. Undercover as a regulator would work if they didn't stick together as a huge group, and he crossed his arms under the heavy overgarments he wore, sleeves hanging empty by his sides as they were dismissed. "Likewise, Interrogator, we will be in touch."

Grabbing the dataslate, since he would have use for it and intended to add information as he found it, along with the fact he did not trust the rest of the acolytes with not doing something stupid and messing up the dataslate and its information. With that he, after inputting the data code to prevent memory wipe of the slate, pulled up the relevant information on the sector they were going to and reviewed and prepared while they were on their way to Coscaria. The crowds that were left and the increasingly deteriorating train cars did not phase the Arbitrator one bit. It was par for the course, as he read over the information, and waited for their destination to be announced, keeping some distance from the fellow acolytes to avoid drawing suspicion of a group of such clothed individuals, all clumped together. It still drew attention and attention was something he did not need. This was a shadow mission after all.

Once the group arrived at Coscaria, Atreides wasted no remaining day cycle remaining as he turned away from the group, speaking briefly. "Raise me on vox if you need me, I have questions to ask." He didn't yell, having only spoke loud enough for them to hear as he left the group. He intended to use his familiarity with such hive areas to reach Hab block 7-17 and attempt to gather what information he could from the sister. He would attempt to be polite and respectful to the grieving sister, but he would get the information however he could. His authority was absolute in this, and he would not leave without something to work with in hunting down this heretic.

Collect items and put on disguise
Review data slate
Navigate to Hab block 7-17

Splitting up? Don't make it too easy now. ;)
It's a dangerous move but also a sensible one, a group of seven going everywhere is going to draw attention much more than a single person.

Indeed, besides, the Arbites doesn't need people getting underfoot and being annoying and haughty in general (None of which is at his fault, not at all! *Sarcasm*)

EDIT: Posting now, and Atreides will be taking the dataslate along for safe keeping, barring someone trying to stop him.
Excellent, it is time for us to go our separate ways and get slaughtered by the heretics and hive denizens catch our heretic for the glory of the Emperor.
