I was actually debating, mentally, whether to suggest your character maybe having heard rumors or stories of what mine did, considering the fact they both hail from the same nation. The 'murder' of a general's daughter might have gotten some attention after all! That certainly wouldn't create any tension at all, none whatsoever!

Hmm, been thinking on how much folks backstories might end up playing into the plot, certainly got an interesting potential for quite the dynamic group.

Well, the main problem being it doesn't seem like she has a plan, so certain allies might act in ways that might not help. And don't discount Ansgar's Carapace, its better than the standard issue t-shirt!

At the moment, he's not the one standing in front of a mob of armed civilians/cultists that already murdered and trampled the guardsmen guarding the place. So I would argue that point.

Being the only normal in the group is fun though, it creates an interesting perspective, doubly so when he has to face something the others are equipped for, not him.

And don't get too close too fast, he does have an awful lot of explosives. Might want to listen to your own siggy there, especially if he is expecting things to not get better. Might as well go out with a bang, right?

His warddrobe still needs more bats to fit, even if he does wear enough dark colored clothes though! He is the guardsmen they deserve, but not the one they need.

Almost getting Full Metal Alchemist vibes, just a less angry short guy running around bashing people's heads in. Good times had by all. Except the heretics. I think it should be a thing for comedic value, if nothing else! Perhaps the vortex pulls him off the roof? Hmm, that might kill him though...
