Sol shrugged nonchalantly and and silently walked into the cave, an impressive display of magic, he wondered how well he could block attacks with the gauntlet. This should be interesting, the possibilities of what awaited him were endless. Especially in a place called the labyrinth of hope. He grabbed his sword and held in a seemingly lazy grip as he walked forward.

"Olderson? We haven't had one of you in a few years, good to see you're still around. Well your entrance exam shouldn't be too difficult." A voice echoed throughout the cave as Max came into a nearly blindingly white room. If he looked behind himself he would only see another wall, the room didn't seem to have another other exits. "Escape." was all the voice said, and Max could feel a slight tugging sensation as his magic was sapped very, very, slowly away from him. A mouth appeared on of the walls, "Are you going to try to escape? No magic can escape from this room, and nothing with magic can leave this place unharmed..." The mouth talked slowly, in a sort of sleepy fashion.

Exam

"Ah Charles the shapeshifter. Your entrance exam will be relatively simple." a voice echoed out and the cave briefly become totally dark before glowing with some strange sort of green light, clearly illuminating what as in front of him. "An obstacle course, all you need to do is get through by any means necessary, if you determine that you can in fact not pass an obstacle simply call out 'Pass' and the obstacle will be removed and you will be presented with the next one. This will of course affect your score accordingly, please begin when ready Mr. McCloud." It seemed the first obstacle was relatively simply, just a hallway long trench in the ground that led to unknown depths instead of a floor. The walls were close enough that if Charles stretched his arms out he could touch both sides with his fingers. The hall wasn't very long, only about 10 yards.

I thought the soul gems fit reasonably within my character background. Either way regarding both skills and inventory i'll wait for GM approval. You have a point on the 2nd rank of stalker I didn't see that, so I'll take Jump Up and leave 5 points left over. Though I wouldn't need targeted blow to achieve it as far as I can tell.

@Eklispe Think you got too many skill levels there... Not sure thou.

As a Bosmer you start with 1 point in Alchemy, Marksman, or Sneak.

As an Archer you get 4 Major Skills: Marksman, Vigilance, Acrobatics,  and  Sneak but you can only raise 2 of them by one level.

Then you have you 6 Chosen Major Skills. But here too you get only 4 points to distribute between them.

Giving you a total of 7 free points.

As a Bosmer you also get 100xp to do what you want.

But in your current build you spent about 80 to 95xp on skills

And somewhere around 80 on talents... if not mistaken.

I'm not sure where you think the mistake is. If you sought to warn me an error I'd think you'd check to see if there was one first. Vigilance and Sneak are the 2/4 archtype skills I gained a rank in. For my 4/6 I choose Mysticism, Survival, Illusion, Enchanting. Marksmen for free from Bosmer race, Rank in acrobatics bought for 10exp, rank in END bought for 20 EXP, Talents bought for 70 exp. Total 100 exp spent.

Background –
Shinon grew up as a relatively simple hunter, a sort of family trade. However as he grew he quickly took an interest in the matters of the arcane and its many uses. As a hunter he easily saw the many uses of illusion in hiding oneself, setting up traps, and leading the prey. More quickly however he grew interested in the many application of enchanting. So many different things you could do, but the thing that Shinon was most fascinated by was the thought of creating a bow that could never miss. Surely it would be an awe-inspiring feat as no one had done it yet, at least not that he'd heard of. To further this end he also quickly began learning the arts of mysticism. However as his study progressed he quickly realized he would need far more experience, and funds, to reach his dream. Conveniently at around this time he received an offer for an adventure with great wealth. Figuring that this 'adventure' could satisfy both requirements, as well as his natural curiosity, Shinon accepted and made his way to the Skyrim providence.

Personality --
Shinon is fairly laid back, though somewhat awkward in social situations due to his inexperience. After all he has spent more time with animals than with humans, and sometimes can act strangely. He takes great pride in his martial skills, though not to the point of needless boasting. He is eager to learn more about any sort of magic and gladly accepts any advice regarding it.
