Current 'I know the Goliath Fucking Bird-Eating Spider can't fly because if it could, it would have a different name entirely. We would call it "sir" because it would be the dominant species on the planet.'

"OK, I've just about had my FILL of riddle-asking, quest-assigning, insult-throwing, pun-hurling, hostage-taking, iron-mongering, smart-arsed fools, freaks, and felons that continually test my will, mettle, strength, intelligence, and most of all, patience! If you've got a straight answer ANYWHERE in that bent little head of yours, I want to hear it pretty damn quick or I'm going to take a large blunt object roughly the size of Elminster AND his hat, and stuff it lengthwise into a crevice of your being so seldom seen that even the denizens of the nine hells themselves wouldn't touch it with a twenty-foot rusty halberd! Have I MADE myself perfectly CLEAR?!" - CHARNAME, Baldur's Gate

OKAY SO PAX!!!

I went Friday, Saturday, and Monday. Friday was my Maya cosplay. I have to bug husbandito for photos, but here is one I found from the Gearbox photoshoot. I’m the Maya furthest to the left. I want to remake it…again hahahaa
Here’s a solo shot I found on the interwebs!

Friday was p good! We played Battleborn, which is amazing, walked around the expo hall, did the photoshoot and then went to the Inside Gearbox Panel. All of us cosplayers got to be in a wedding!!! It was awesome <3 We went home after that, bc sleepy.

Saturday we played more games—husbandito played Magic while I went off with a friend and played ten million indie games. I got to play the new King’s Quest, which was amazeballs. We went to the crowdplay of Episode 4 from Tales From the Borderlands and omfg it was amazing!! We made loads of friends in the line and got steam keys for every Telltale game ahhhhh

Monday I cosplayed Black Widow again! I still need to get photos from husbandito and friendo, but we did a Tony Stark, Widow and Scarlet Witch group <3 It was awesome! Here are are my favorite shots from the impromptu photoshoot. Our Scarlet Witch only came on Monday so we mostly played games she wanted to, explored, and had lunch with some press friends of ours. C: I spent 2 hours in line to play Sword Coast Legends, haha, and it was totes worth it! *_*
Maybe some Jathena between the Pre-Sequel and the start of Tales, mayhaps? Shoot me a PM and lets get to plotting!
I'm pretty open to ideas! I would love to write with Janey, because space girlfriends 5ever, but I would totally adore writing during Tales from the Borderlands as well, because TftBl is the best. Writing the Pre-Sequel campaign could be fun as well!

Do you have any preferences?
Bump! Some of my games have fizzled or failed to launch, so I'm hunting for replacements.

First post is updated with cravings and pots with starters, but here's a summarized list of what I'm looking for specifically.
Arrows (►) before a name/idea have starter posts, bolded things are what I'm especially craving.

Harry Potter Canons and OCs: ►Alice Longbottom, ►July Eld, ►Sarai Shacklebolt
Borderlands: Maya, Gaige, Athena
Marvel Cinematic Universe: ►Natasha Romanoff, ►Thor
Dragon Age OCs: ►The Fourth Blight, Post!Inquisition Rebuilding of Kirkwall’s Circle (Vivienne as Divine), Inquisition Foot Soldiers
Mass Effect goodness!

As always, if we have a game that failed to launch and you're still interested, send me a private message!

@Altered Tundra UwU I'm flattered! One of these days we'll actually be able to get a game running, haha!

EDIT: loollol looks who didn't really read the prompt. WHATEVER. I'm keeping all my love up here.

So, first and foremost is @TheLeeLee! We've been writing together for, god, nearly four years now?? It feels like we've always RPed together! We have multiple games with huge casts and AUs and she's just like, my best friend. She develops some of the most interesting characters and she shares my love for HURRR ANGST. We keep each other waiting a lot, bc we are both the worst, but her posts are always hilarious and heart wrenching and magical!

I met LeeLee via @SinfulSkills, and I'm just amazed that such a lovely lady has written with me over the years!

Next up is @Nemaisare, whose patience is legendary. Her characters are dynamic and crazy unique—this brosephine has the best world building ideas, and I love that she shares world building so readily. I get giddy any time I see her post!

Then we’ve got @Alfbie! Her characters are beautifully developed, and I want to know all their secrets! –grabby hands-

@TheDookieNut and @SirensCall give me my Harry Potter fix and I’m so grateful that they put up with me! ;A; They’re both great at plot. Plus, more friends to babble about Harry Potter with! SOLD!

@ClosetMonster is amazing. I look to her for inspiration when I need to balance character interactions with environment. <3

@Cream is hella patient, like crazy so, and we’ve built some amazing drama and angst >:D

@Mercenary Lord and I built a crazy intricate world and it’s just been loads of fun! Plus, he can handle a monstrous amount of NPCs which is super awesome and important.

@Howler’s posts are always a delight!

And I tag everyone who I’ve inadvertently forgotten about because my inbox is a nightmare and I’m spacey as shit. ;_; I love all my partners, they’re all the best. <3 <3
THINGS HAVE BEEN CRAZY AHH

We're not moving! Husbandito is going to a carrier! PAX was awesome! SO MUCH COSPLAY TO DO! A potential art commission for a 3rd party pathfinder book! Painting a mural! Hunting for work! AHHHHHH

Katie took to helixing around the mess of chasers and beaters, chasing after the quaffle. Flint was in the thick of it, Pucey not far behind. Tabtiang caught Haggerty in the ribs, and she was certain she heard a crunch of bones. There was no time to worry—Flint and Pucey were taking a lot of heat. Miller and Perth were trying to interfere with her teammates, and they were doing a damn good job of it. Flint’s eyes moved, found her, and she nodded, sprinting forward and down to where he threw the quaffle.

Davies nearly caught it, but Katie had literally divebombed the red ball, snatching it away and tucking it beneath an arm. She spiraled away, leading the chase again towards the goals. A bludger narrowly missed her head, catching Davies in the face as he tried to reach her. She grinned at Llewellyn, who looked positively psychopathic. Thank Merlin he was on her team.

Meza was quick, but she knew his feint well and countered it, sinking the quaffle through a goal. A bell dinged and she laughed, elbowing Pucey in the side as she passed. “You’re falling behind, pumpkin,” she cooed before darting forwards again.

The game was brutal trading of blows. There would be no quick victory, not at this level, and Katie relished it. She’d longed to play real Quidditch for months, and though her leg was throbbing an hour in, she kept pushing just as hard. She’d pay for it later tonight—right now, she had to win.

Four hundred and twenty to four hundred—to Team One. Katie swore as another ten went to Team Two when Kamala missed the block by the tips of her fingers—but then there was a rush, a bellowing voice—Harrigan had caught the snitch. Her stomach plummeted. No. No—they had played so much better than the other team, but the fucking golden snitch…
She winced as she landed on the pitch, waving off Kamala’s glum, concerned look, slinging her broom over her shoulder. Katie joined the others around Fenrir, who was discussing something with the team manager.

“First string,” Fenrir called when they had fallen silent, “Yuthee Tabtiang and Rhys Llewellyn for Beaters, Joel Meza for Keeper.” He paused for a moment, appraising the chasers. Katie couldn’t breathe, muscles burning, sweat dripping down the back of her neck. She tightened her grip on her broom. “Adrian Pucey, Marcus Flint, and Katie Bell for Chasers. The rest of you can accept reserve contracts or buy out your remaining contract. Dismissed.”

Katie shot Kamala a sympathetic look, but the dark woman had closed herself off, hands clenched into fists. Katie bit her lip briefly, before dropping a hand to her friend’s shoulder. “Hey, you played well. There's always next season.”

“I know,” Kamala murmured, before excusing herself. Katie meant to go after her, but Pucey was bright eyed and laughing, sweeping her up into a spinning hug before tucking her beneath his arm, knuckles mussing up her hair.

“I think this is the beginning of a beautiful season, Kitty Cat,” he taunted. Katie swore and laughed, elbowing him viciously in the ribs, scrunching her nose.

“Ugh, you smell like dead kneazle,” she complained, pushing him off of her. Ewww, he’d sweat all over her. Katie snorted, looking at the pair of men she’d be training with. Pucey was, well, not too bad, but Flint…she grit her teeth. “You…played well, Flint.” she offered, in a strained attempt at civility.

Working on posts, finally! Sorry for the delay my love!
SO, it only took us like, a year, but we just reached 2 pages in the IC. awww yeeeee
Her blade snapped up at the sound of a crash. Her eyes sharpened, pulse erupting in her chest, as she searched for danger. And yet, there was none. No beasts, no soldiers, no glass-eyed men—just the manthing, looking dazed. He had fallen, she realised. Samaire did not relax, per se, but she sheathed her blade and returned her attention to packing her equipment. She retrieved her pack from its suspension, rolling her bedroll tightly, folding her blanket into a tiny square.

Boots were pulled onto cold feet, laced swiftly by numb fingers. Samaire gloved her hands, buckling armor with the ease of familiarity. Her nerves were alight, heartbeat fluttering in her chest, but the armor was steadying. With armor, with her sword, she could survive whatever monsters crept in the woods.

Tucking her dagger into a sheath in the small of her back, Samaire strapped her sword about her hips. It was warm, a touch of comfort in the night. Swinging her back onto her aching shoulders, she looked to the manthing. It almost looked human, like a child run ragged by play. For a moment, she could see Uriah again, exhausted after a day in the forge. It was as if the manthing had reached into her chest and squeezed her heart until it burst in a spray of meat and blood. She swallowed, eyeing his proffered wrists.

They didn’t have time for her to drag him, but there was something in his eyes. Or rather, there was a lack of something in his eyes. There was no humanity there. He looked almost like a cat Gildas had kept—it had seemed a sweet thing, affectionate and curious, but it had once clawed their Aunt Elora so badly she had needed stitches.
Samaire moved instead to the tree. Unknotting the chain was not as easy as tying it had been. Several minutes later, it went slack, and she wrapped it tight around her arm once more, jerking her head west—away from the doe.

“Go.”
