You can't attach the CoGM tag to players in IntCk threads, though. Only for RP threads (OoC, IC, Char).

The elitists in advanced are, from our experience, pretty few in number now. A lot of them left with the guildfall.
Still, we've no doubts a few still remain.
There are many still who feel advanced is filled with grammar nazis and novelists rather than the fairly balanced spread it actually has. But casual is by far the largest section.
The nice thing is that you can stick an RP in advanced and you choose exactly how strict you want to be. If you're satisfied with content without really caring about grammar or spelling, you can do that. If you get a headache just from seeing a single letter that is capitalized incorrectly, then you can demand that.
Most tend to be in the middle, though. We know our advanced RP runs on quality over quantity.

Heh. We started a random short story this morning/last night (it was after midnight), only to see this now. Practically enough, that story fits this theme, wethinks.

True. it would have to be managed somehow. Maybe it'll be possible to only have it trigger a notification once it goes of of the chat, and only if you've not focused the window between it being posted and it being removed to the logs?

Just to verify, was there a plan in the chat system to link the [@Mention] stuff to the notifications system? It might be useful if that were possible. The link would logically send one to the chat log, to the relevant line in that.
