Current Peace is a Lie, there is only Passion. Through Passion, I gain Strength. Through Strength, I gain Power. Through Power, I gain Victory. Through Victory, My Chains are Broken. The Force Shall Free Me.

Sorry about the information chaos, @Dblade26.

Just initiate training usually takes 5-6 years for species with near-human lifespans. so you can easily have inexperience well after discovery. had it not been wartime, training from discovery to fully trained knight would easily have taken 10-15 years or more.
@Themerlinhawk
Please put all OoC notes here in the OoC. We neither can nor will force you participate in the OoC discussions (that is your choice and we'll respect that), but no OoC notes in the IC, please.

@Dblade26
The one bit we feel is missing right now is a tie to the ongoing war.
Also, there is a Jedi academy on Arkania, which is rather close to the Echani homeworld of Eshan (one galaxy map grid square away). As such, discovery of force sensitivity would probably have happened early on. 13 is very late for someone to be discovered as force-sensitive on an inner rim world.
most people read roughly 300 words per minute, according to what we looked up. With the IC summary being just shy of 4000 words, that should not take long to read.

If you nearly cut that reading rate in half, putting it at 180 words/minute, you'll need less than 23 minutes to read the entire summary.
even if you read at half that rate again, 90 words per minute, you'll only need 45 minutes.

So your claim that you do not have time is rather thin.
That is a sad excuse Sep. People who don't bother to read remind us of a certain individual from relics. You don't want to remind us of that individual.

Note to all players:
If it has not been clear before...
If you want features like new rooms, please ask us and we'll help you figure out how it fits the map or whether it even needs a new ship section.
But if you want to tweak things like what is in a room (like adding tables, comfy chairs, convenient niches, data ports, etc.) you have fairly free reins, just so long as it makes sense.

We don't bite when people ask us questions about the map. We might argue and/or grumble a bit, but we won't bite.
End? Wasn't that to be done sideways?

We like the idea of "if in doubt whether it'll be ok, don't post it.". Its nice, clean and most people should be able to figure it out. For those who aren't, they can use the idea of PMing it to one or more moderator(s).

it'll serve as containment till a more complex anti-bot measure can be coded. If every bot has to post there first, then identifying them is much quicker for the mods.
We don't mind people writing about it, but detailed stuff in our opinion should stick to private. Even when you do describe it, there are many ways to go about it. There's the "porn"-like ways of describing the way the normally concealed organs of the involved people interact and what they look like, focusing most of all on that, and then there's the more "natural" way of describing how the individuals get to know each other, not focusing on the point(s) they are joined together.

In RPs, we personally think that attempts at reproduction can spice up stories, but that they should be vague. if the involved parties want more detail, they can perhaps write that out offsite or in PM. If others (players or readers) want to see such descriptions, there's always the option of making a small note that said detailed stuff can be made available at request.

The reason we feel this way is not really personal feel that such should only be private, but more that we don't want the guild to turn away those who do not desire detailed descriptions of reproductive attempts, like certain types of people and the adsense bots, the latter who at least in part fund the guild's server.

Personally we couldn't care much about how detailed people want to get on it. Some things would turn us away, others wouldn't. But the guild's rules are clear because of adsense, so we think that should be stuck to. We've occasionally written stuff that would've been undesirable by adsense, but seeing as they've not been written on the guild (or in the eye of the public for that matter), that matters little.

A small [sup]*faded to black*[/sup] should be sufficient to refer to non-faded content
just curious... did anyone [@mention] us the other day here? We got a notification about this thread, but couldn't see any @Ellri tags in here at the time.

Others made us seem stricter than we personally are, Sep. The worst time, other than when we get outright mary sues (who all need harsh judgement), was our judgement of characters towards the end of Relics, when we had a lot more than desirable on our plate (RL and RP-wise).

Good luck with this RP, everyone here. We hope it succeeds.
Sish can take Shiri, @Rtron. Lea will eventually take Xid.
Aye. If you don't read posts, especially before posting in the IC, then you don't belong in RPs. We've had a problem in one of our RPs where one guy neither read IC nor OoC before posting IC. Suffice to say, his posts did not mesh well with the RP, and he did not take it well when he was told to clean up his mess for the sake of the other players. When someone reacts with "TL;DNR" to IC or OoC Posts with length, then they clearly aren't in the right RP.
