That sort of response to non-aggressive criticism that was clearly meant as help @Phoenix, is also what will turn many people away.
Someone broke the net back home. Hopefully they'll fix the cut cable by tomorrow morning.
We provided an alternative solution, @Fallenreaper.
You don't have to have a trait, but you do have to be able to understand it. If you're normally fairly silent and private, you won't have an easy time playing a gossiper. We're not saying its impossible, but we do think it'll be more challenging to play than a trait you have/understand fully.

When we play with traits like intelligence, we provide the character with a better understanding of how things work, give them a more natural understanding of knowledge that is partially OoC. But it can be even more fun to give characters misunderstandings of such. like seeing a series of facts, and making it so that two plus two equals five.

agreed, @NuttsnBolts.
Getting various new stuff will undoubtedly help out too. Other features on the list that'll show the guild is truly better for pbp RPing than other sites.
Another feature that'd make the guild chat used a lot more: rooms.
but to be honest, there's just too many good potential features on our list in the suggestions forum to pick just a few...

We agree with much of that, @Darkmatter.
We suspect that many of the newer drift away due to two reasons:
1. their RPs not working out
2. some of the missing "basic" features.
Without delving into the big list of feature requests, we can think of one feature that should be simple to make:
a link from the recently online friends list on the right side to a complete list. Such can easily be a plain text window if nothing else.
