Current Peace is a Lie, there is only Passion. Through Passion, I gain Strength. Through Strength, I gain Power. Through Power, I gain Victory. Through Victory, My Chains are Broken. The Force Shall Free Me.

it is more along the lines of "not sure about having time."

The SG community on the guild is very small, unfortunately.

The hardest part with starting anything up again will be finding a GM with the time to do it right.

We do not have time to GM anything more, nor does Echo.
It's probably fine. Don't forget that just because a system is rigid, that does not mean that everyone will be following it perfectly.
we wanted to keep the system simple. That's why there's no barons... but they're typically low nobility. Perhaps those could belong to powerful side-branches that have not yet become a house of their own, yet are acknowledged by the court as such?
The one thing our system doesn't cover too well is branched families. i.e. When does a side branch "come into its own" and become its own house?

Thoughts?

Naturally this system also doesn't take into account the actual power of any family compared to others. we can quite probably end up having families firmly belonging in lesser nobility (or side branches thereof) yet having the same or greater power than a family in high nobility.

we can see such too in one of our RPs, @Lady Amalthea.

excellent. Already started testing the 0th post system.

Rules and regulations of Coruscant Sacked: Aftermath III:

  • All characters are mortal and if events in the IC stack up high enough against a character’s chances of survival, the character dies. We generally try to avoid that, but it's not always possible and that character will likely die. Despite this, we encourage everyone to remain IC and enjoy the rp while noting this slim possible.

While this did not happen frequently in the previous iterations- technically only once unless it was an abandon PC, it felt better to make it clear just how things stand.
  • If a player’s character should die, we GMs will help the player make another character to replace it.
  • Some characters may have secrets. These are normally known only to the player and the GMs. If someone should come to a point where it is plausible to discover at least part of it, the GMs or the player will take care of informing that someone through PMs.
  • Character sheet review will be strict, but it is also fair. Aftermath operates on what might be called “plausible canon”, even though the entire expanded universe has been deemed non-canon. Thus, anything happening is of the sort that might plausibly happen. If you are in doubt, ask the GMs.
  • Once approved, all sheets must be inside a hider. This is to make it easier for people to find a particular sheet when they have to look things up for IC posts.
  • We have plenty of lore documents available. Read them. If something feels like it isn’t covered there, ask a GM for clarification and we’ll give you the information you need.
  • The provided character sheet templates are guidelines. So long as everything is covered, it does not matter overmuch if you tweak it for your character. The templates are a mix of first and third person, as some things are more easily covered in one or the other format.
  • Please do NOT even consider trying to make any of these: Gray Jedi, Bounty hunters, Darths, exogorths. It will only be a waste of time, as such a sheet will not be approved. In addition, please take in consideration the species of this Era since not all of them were discovered yet or plausibly apart of select factions due to canon reasons.

Locations:

With the introductory chapter finished, virtually all events will occur upon the jungle planet of Feena.

In addition to the above compound, there are numerous outposts and unmanned stations set up by the Sith to monitor the planet throughout the jungle.
Indeed, @BrokenPromise. While you can use hundreds of formatting tags to get the "right" feel to a sheet, you can get much the same effect with a few carefully placed ones. Like weapons, CS template design is an art.

It is also far easier to go to page one of any thread now, @KoL. If you look on the subscriptions page, there's that little thing below RP title with:
93 IC, 1464 OOC, 21 Char

clicking the respective tab title there brings you automatically to page 1 of that tab.
