Current Peace is a Lie, there is only Passion. Through Passion, I gain Strength. Through Strength, I gain Power. Through Power, I gain Victory. Through Victory, My Chains are Broken. The Force Shall Free Me.

On the topic of timezones... What timezones are everyone based in?

We're based in Central European Time, albeit a somewhat early version of it.

There's lots of interesting Tiefling options in Mordenkainen's Tome of Foes, @Vertigo.
we're currently using a homebrewed PDF. easier for us to update.
you can roll multiple sets at once, but unfortunately no more than five.
so rather than entering 4d6 six times, you can just enter 4d6+4d6+4d6 twice.
This ship is very much overpowered. You've got numerous pieces of tech on it that are from the movie era, which is far too advanced for the present era.

Also, that hyperdrive? Way too powerful.

  • Keep to the era and to common sense. Don’t try to bring in technology that isn’t appropriate to this era.
  • Most ships have hyperdrive type 2.0-3.0. A few, especially expensive ships can approach 1.0, but owning/acquiring such will have to be justified.
  • Don’t try to fit things like capital-ship weapons on a small transport or making “invulnerable” ships. This roleplay isn’t about winning a pissing contest.
  • Don’t port ships directly from other settings or eras. You can use them as inspiration, but only if they fit into the star wars setting this PW has.
The PG rules

"Justified" does not mean "I need it to be faster than X". It means that you have to have justification for where it was acquired, how, why it is only found there, etc.
A preliminary sheet has been written, but it needs some editing to be fully readable (we repurposed a cleric sheet template, which had the wrong text box sizes for a wizard)
Oh, and we rolled on the "This is your life" tables in Xanathar's Guide to Everything.
for the stats and such we decided to roll a physical die, but of course later it'll presumably be using the guild die roller.
thus we wrote down all the numbers, even the dropped roll.

We're making a Tortle Wizard, by the way.
the standard system, we believe, is six sets of 4d6, dropping lowest die from each set, @duskshine749.
Very fair to deny Grung. they can be a bit pesky.
We're definitely in.

Yes, there's an official Tortle supplement. and a Grung supplement.
There are sites where it is available for free, but as they're probably not legal, we won't link or name them here, but we can link the official sources:
Tortle Package
One Grung Above

The class options available in SCAG that aren't available elsewhere are the ones that are more vaguely defined, such as feral tieflings, winged elves, sea elves, etc.

Thinking of playing some sort of full caster. Perhaps a Wizard.

Not sure on race yet.
ooooh... Shiny! Interesting!

A few questions:
1. Just to confirm: Not permitting stuff from Sword Coast Adventurer's Guide, Mordenkainen's Tome of Foes, Tortle package or One Grung Above, right?

2. How will it be played?

3. Is it necessary for players to be online at certain times, or will it be through good ol' posts?

4. Character sheets. Will they use any specific template?

5. How will rolls be handled?

6. How did you die to grass?

7. can we join in?
