You know your summer will be great when you're watching Troom Troom makeup hacks, but you're a 25 year old male who doesn't know what pigment is. #thuglife

Bio

My name's Erklings25, but you can call me Erk, or Richie. I've been RPing since I was 9 and I'm still not any good at it. You saw nothing. I'm a massive film/literature/theatre buff, so feel free to drop me a PM if you want to chat about that kind of stuff. Because I have nothing interesting to say, here's a quote I'll leave you with that always inspires me:

HASTA LA VISTA BABY!

The year? 1924. The place? Good old New York City.

With this new prohibition on alcohol, everyone's sober enough to make good decisions People talk about the 'dark underbelly' of NYC, but that's a fallacy, right?

Well, people will have to believe in it now. That famous journalist, Chester Wellington, was killed recently. And of course, you must remember how he got his money? No? Well, it turns out he got it from the mafia.

Of course they have some suspects: there's that Italian family who've been in the rise lately. Or some say it was his crazy mistress. Some think it was a corrupt cop who he'd been tailing. But I know who did it. You've heard of that fabled gang from Brooklyn, The Liberated? Well it was them. In fact, none other than their capo, Warren Clarington, the mastermind behind The Anarchist Robbery on Wall Street, was the killer.

A foolproof crime. Almost. You see, the journalist left his notebook at a cafe, then was found ten minuets later dead in the sewers. A woman at the cafe saw him leave with Clarington, in fact. She took the notebook, attempting to give it back to Wellington. Thank god nobody recognised poor old Clarington. But what if she did? If she put two and two together. Read the notebook and found something incriminating. Warren decided he could do one of two things to keep her quiet. He could kill her.

Or he could marry her. Marriage sounds good.

She'd never believed in the criminal underworld, but now, thrown into a world of illegal alcohol, speakeasys and gangster, she may have to.

So, hey guys! This is my rather bad Brighton Rock inspired plot. If you're interested PM me! But before you do that, please read the rules:

  • I'm fine with swearing, violence and gore, but please, if any smut arises, please fade-to-black.
  • I would be playing Claringtion in this, so you would The playing the woman from the cafe. Just so you know.
  • I know some people like to know about this sort of thing, so yes, I do like to play dominant characters.
  • I don't mind doubling.
  • I love to talk to people, so please talk to me in OOC!
  • I'm a mid-casual writer, so please have decent spelling and grammar, and be able to write at least three paragraphs.
  • If you have read all the rules, thanks a bunch! Just to make sure I know, when you PM me (I know you will!) tell me your favourite film.

And now, here's an rping meme!

<Snipped quote by Erklings25>

Well; From all that's happened so far; Hudson and Zelma try way too hard to be edgy xD

Nah, he's just really, really grumpy.
@Erklings25 It's gonna be hilarious when he finds out that Auria is a lot older than she looks xD

<Snipped quote by Erklings25>

Just like to let you know luv; Auria's real age is unknown. She just appears as a sixteen your old xD

Ooh, that's good! So that means Hudson in the little one? He'd be so ticked off when he found out Auria isn't 16!

@Erklings25 Zelma is awesome. But yea, she is a complete bitch. I can see why people would be sick of her though my cupid boy will fix that.

He's going to fix a lot of problems isn't he? Matchmaking has never been so dangerous.
I can totally imagine Auria as the semi-mature older sister that's sick of her siblings xD

Well, Zelma is actually the older sibling. But I can still imagine him being sick of his sisters constant edginess. Auria to a lesser extent.

Hudson planned on reading in solitude. Perfect solitude. He found the greatest peace he could have was to be alone in the rain. However he reiecved many interruptions, the first of which being Micah, summoning a shield over him to protect him from the rain. Hudson didn't look up from his book, he just dismissively waved two fingers at him, a signal to buzz off. He was very happy when Micah did so. Micah had been trying to be friends or something with Hudson since he joined. Hudson disliked the idea profusely. The only friend he needed was Phoenix, who he'd somehow befriended on his first day. He got along sort of well with that Ares kid. Who was he? Enzo, that's it. He became almost friends with Enzo just to worm his way into team Athena, as it was called, but also so Enzo didn't beat the living daylights out of him when his deception was revealed.

At the sound of a Harley Davidson pulling into the parking lot, near his reading no, Hudson fled to the quad, fearing conversation. Despite what his sister Auria thought, he was terrible with people. He couldn't quite understand him. His thoughts were taken up with what he wanted to teach Auria in their social lessons. He was so lost in thought he didn't notice that he walked into someone, knocking both of them back a little. On closer inspection, he noticed that person was Alexander, son of Zeus, duke of Värmlamd, king of stuck up jerks. "Oh, wow, my lucky day!" He mockingly remarked. "My first day of school and I've already taken down royalty. Next stop, Olympus." With this rather political joke, and looked up at Riddley, winking. "Hey, Einstein, don't politically asult the newbies yet, hey?" He stood up brushing the gravel of his shirt.

He had shown a rather low opinion of Zeus to many, gaining the trust of Riddley, who seemed to be leading the upcoming student revolution. It was only fair, gain the trust of a big shot, and get your father back on Olympus, where he belongs. A politically correct plan and deliciously devious. He couldn't have been prouder of himself for coming up with it. Next, he noticed his sister talking to Enzo, getting rather nervous in the crowd. "Well, well. Morning sister. March. What's this, hey?" He asked, greeting each of them in turn, and snatching away one of the flyers from Enzo's hands. "A party? That sounds awful! Trust a son of Dionysus, hey?" He crushed the flyer in his fist, throwing it over his shoulder. He then quietly told Auria about his little corner in the parking lot, just in case she wanted to talk to Enzo more. He cooly walked away to a bench, a more quiet place to read, calling over his shoulder "Thank me later!"

If anyone wants to annoy interact with Hudson, that's fine!

"Good goddam morning world!" Muttered a tired Hudson, staring out of his bedroom window. Another day of dealing with his annoying delinquent sisters, ridiculously oblivious anti-Zeus leaders and annoyingly happy pests. School sucked. The only comforts he had were his friends, and his closeness to being able to summon the dead. It was like a dream come true for him, finally not being the only child of Hades who couldn't summon a hoard of angry Mongol warriors to do his bidding. Life also sucked. And now, it was another fun day of dealing with his inferiority to his sisters. Yay!

Hudson shuffled onto the quad in school, wearing his almost iconic vintage flight jacket and NASA shirt. His satchel was bulging with a rather large book that didn't look like it belonged in any lessons. It was his little one-of-a-kind time his father gave him when he turned 15. It contained secrets his sisters didn't know, like about how he can sense death. Seating himself in a quiet, dark, corner outside the academy, he began to silently thumb through the pages until he found what he wanted. Hydras, there we go. He couldn't summon the dead yet, but he cared more about the monsters. This tome was his personal book of monsters, a subject he cared a lot about. If he could summon a chimera and an angry hoard in Mongols, his life would be complete.
Might make a son of Kronos. Watch this space.

JD is such a tragic character. Every time I see my avatar I have to mourn him, I swear!
