If you like all of the necessary ingredients, pastry and all, why not just make the pie? So many questions.

Fireworks are fine and all, but why do they have to be so bright, colourful and loud?

See, I always pronounced Nutella based on how it was spelt. Noot-telly. Is that wrong?

Will be posting some CSes, finalised and WIP here for reasons. Have a good day.
@FernStone Makes sense, ha, yeah.
Happily humming away in the background. Just eager to get going with it.
Post is up. I'll make a start on my relationship chart, though I'll need some relationships.
Lord Amberlin

Location; The Kingdom of Abhainn
Interacting With; Myself

The family's carriage was held in a sapping silence. Silence, save for the grooves of the wheels treading through the dirt path beneath them and the thudding clop of the horses shoes before them. The silence suited Amberlin fine. Seated at his side, his wife Jocosa, the most enthused of the entire bunch. She was, he imagined, quite excited for the wedding and festivities and was happily sewing away, stopping only to occasionally chastise their son. Sat in an uncomfortably large green coat and clothing far more formal and restrictive than he was used to, he had taken to fidgeting to relieve his boredom. His mother breaks the silence,

"Brom, dear. Would you please sit still?" She asks, shortly. "We're nearly there. You'll spoil that coat if you're not careful."

"Stop coddling the boy," Amberlin chides softly, trying to soften the blow with a few belly laughs. "You do fuss over him. He's just uncomfortable," he laughs again. "I hardly blame him." He turns his attention to his son: "You know, I'm not that comfortable myself," he adjusts his own coat, a similar hue but finely embroidered and fitting his form. Brom giggles a little. "It's just for a day or two, then we'll be back at home and you can do as you please. I can take you to another execution, or on a hunt." The son nods, a little put out. "Does that sound good to you?"

"Yes father," the eight year old drones, almost singing. The phrase was a go-to when he was in doubt.

"Brilliant." He catches a breath. It's not everyday that your King is due to be married." He smiles, slightly pained. His wife puts a hand on his shoulder.

"We're almost there. Let's just enjoy ourselves. It's a miracle to see you for this long at a time, even now that you're working less. Get this done and I promise you can get back to work."

"This is work." The father chips in, slightly tongue in cheek.

"That may be but let's just get through it." The last occupant of the carriage, in response to this, can do nothing to hold back a short smirk.

"She lives!" Amberlin exclaims with mock surprise. To the right of his son was his only daughter, Branwen. She had not yet forgiven her parents for dragging her along with them to the capital. "Is the skulking finished with then, Miss? I shall not be happy to drag around a silent corpse of a daughter to meet the other dignitaries." Her arms had not left a crossed position since she had entered the carriage, but now began to rest by her side.

"I don't see why I couldn't have just stayed at home. I like it at home. I hate all these events. This dress itches."

"As if we could trust you to stay at home on your own. Frankly, I'd worry about your prospects of just finding something to eat." He snorts.

"You're not funny..."

"I'm hilarious. You don't get a say in that." He smiles. Quite frankly you're lucky to come with us. It was this or the monastery with your brother."

"I would have preferred that!" She protests, halfheartedly. She would not have preferred that. "...How long is it to the castle then?" Amberlin crooks his head around to face the front window of the carriage. They had passed through most of the initial forest and had pushed into a built up area. The castle lay about a mile ahead.

"Not too long." He turns to look at all his family gathered with him. His other two sons had not been able to make it down with them. "Everyone get your smiles ready. If you wear a nice enough mask no-one will ever guess that you hate their guts." The carriage twists on to its destination.

@Lord Wraith I'll see how I'm going.

Wouldn't mind getting messaged on discord sometime, @ErsatzEmperor

I thought I recognised that Black Cat sheet.
@Dynamo Frokane

Impossible - where's the Rick and Morty?
@Lord Wraith I wish you all the luck in the world with the reboot. As much as I'd love to join you, I feel my eyes might be slightly bigger than my belly at the moment. Best of luck though.
<Snipped quote>

The lying mainstream media and news was more concerned with the President of the United States "incorrectly feeding koi fish" than a shooter who did not fit their narrative; going so far as to edit the clip of the two world leaders so it made their ideological opponent play the fool.

As a leftist, I feel I must clarify my matched distaste for the news media's penchant for picking up on every minor social infraction and faux pas the man commits, as if in some way it is newsworthy or a fitting use of the soft power we're told they possess. Not only do these kinds of attack bolster Trump and his supporters' claims that the news media is peddling fake news, or that they carry a bias against the right (which, don't get me wrong, I don't like bias on either side, I just believe that the majority of television news outfits prioritise their bias towards sensationalism, laziness and faux-consensus over any right-left divide; Bernie Sanders and my own country's Jeremy Corbyn have been subject to similar tactics in the past), but they also end up desensitising the audience to very real criticisms that will continue to be levied against the man.

Their audience should not equate one with the other; it leaves their opponents with ammunition and their supporters' viewpoints diluted. Perhaps an earthquake-style rating system is in order. The country is on Amber alert. President Donald Trump, as you can see in this picture, is apparently eating a pizza with a knife and fork. More coverage as it happens.
@HushedWhispers Brilliant. I shan't see a personal computer until the end of the day but I should be able to get something up.
