The only real difference is me saying that he wasn't saying Isalm is inherently evil in that comment, while you say he did, which was more of an overall argument than present in that one bout of sarcasm.

No, it's nothing like what you're saying.
He's not calling every Muslim evil, and the phrase "Islam is evil" that he says first has a very mocking tone to it (unless he just doesn't know how to construct sentences), "nevermind that the majority of muslims are just like the majority of christians and ignore the terrible parts of their religion to only follow the good parts" is saying that most of them just do the good parts and ignore the "bad" parts, and "Islam is the only problem in the world and every muslim is evil" is all sarcasm.

He's mocking people who believe Islam is evil. He's saying that he believes that it's not and that Christians are just as bad and essentially the same as Muslims. His English skills also need some work, as well as his debating abilities.
