Hello!
I am putting out some feelers for some writing partners within a couple of fandom universes, but I am also interested in playing around with original ideas as well. Apologies in advance for how long this post is but hopefully it gets all of the necessary information out there!
About Me:
• I'm 30+ and would prefer my writing partners to be 25+ .
• I'm PST time zone, around enough for a few replies per week and have no preferences on time zones or frequency. I think of myself as a pretty low-pressure writing partner- This is a hobby and should be done for fun and when you have the time and energy for it. I'm patient and communicative, and won't be chasing anyone down for replies. Please note, if you are someone who needs rapid-fire replies, I am not the partner for you.
• I've been roleplaying for over half my life at this point, and consider myself an advanced literate writer. Quantity doesn't always equal quality, but I do expect replies to be comparable in skill, not just length. I also write past tense, 3rd person storybook/novella style. I would prefer to trade writing samples before we plot to make sure our styles align, so please send me a writing sample when you reach out!
• I am happy to write over dms, discord, google docs, email, forums and other online platforms. It's all open to discussion or up to your preference. I would prefer to plan in DMs before moving to another platform though.
• I am OOC friendly and LOVE to plot and worldbuild though I prefer to keep the OOC chatter to RP-based discussion (sharing art, gifs, memes, etc!) and not wade into personal too much.
• I prefer to use real life faceclaims and will not engage with AI art of any kind in my writing.
By virtue of the canons and the pairings I enjoy, I do tend to favor darker themes: complex moral compasses, slow burn romances, changing allegiances, power struggles, enemies to lovers, Stockholm syndrome, violence and actions motivated by strong feelings. I am open to NSFW elements and even enjoy them - But only in service of the story and not in place of it. Would prefer a 90/10 split of plot/smut if we're able to get there.
The Fun Stuff:
For this search I am only looking to write a canon character against another canon character or an OC against an OC. I only write female characters as my mains, but it's tough to move a story forward with only two POV characters, so I am happy to puppet side characters and NPC's to drive the plot along! I do not double. I am open to MxF, FxF, NBxF pairings, and am down for all sorts of shenanigans- shipping, history re-writing, modern AUs, combining book/show/game canon, etc. Just ask!
Beside the fandoms are the characters I have experience playing, but open to playing others if you're looking for something specific! And just as a general note, I age up my characters to 18+ no matter where in the timeline we set our story.

ORIGINAL:
I also really love writing original characters based in fandom settings and have some general ideas for a few of the above fandoms, mostly GOT/ASOIAF and HARRY POTTER but just ask about others!
Some general areas of interest for original characters in original stories -
Medieval/High Fantasy:
• Runaway princess ends up traveling with a troupe of adventurers on a quest, runs into someone nefarious with something to gain by intercepting her, accidentally stumbled upon a fae/elven kingdom where she doesn't quite belong
• Arranged marriage between a princess or other highborn lady who has thus far resisted being married at all. It could be a political match or frankly her very tired father just trying to get rid of her. Either way -- Hijinx ensue!
Modern/Futuristic Spycraft:
In general, I love the high stakes world of spycraft, inspired by James Bond, Mission Impossible, etc. and would love something set between assassins, spies, bounty hunters, etc. Either playing an agent, a rogue agent, an assassin or bounty hunter against their handler, a target they've been pursuing for some cat & mouse dynamics, a civilian who turns out to not be a civilian (think Mr & Mrs Smith the film) or their partner (think Mr & Mrs Smith the series). Generally quite open on this one, either set in present day or in the future high super high tech or set in a galaxy far, far away... I do have a character in mind I'd like to play who can be adapted to fit any of these scenarios. I prefer all characters be over the age of 30 for this one.
General Slice of Life:
This is more of a trope list than specific plot ideas but I tend to enjoy playing frigid ice queen types against people who are fighting their own demons and like to metaphorically butt heads with them. I love contentious relationships in the enemies-to-lovers vein, like toxic or competitive colleagues or rivals in some other form or fashion.
I know this is a lot of info, I just want to cover all of the bases to try and find the most compatible writing partners and I find putting it all out there at once to be the best way! I ask that when you message me you reach out with the following:
