Movie Studios don't use AI to generate scripts because they're not copywritable. My writing is mine, not the world's to play with.

"Badgers?" he said, sweating as he heard gun hammers being cocked unseen behind him. "We ain’t got no badgers. We don’t need no badgers. I don’t have to show you any stinkin' badgers!"

Bio

I am a seven-foot tall minecraft-playing hindu guru drag-queen alien.

Possessor of an Ancient Device™ Model 17. No, I don't know what it does. No, you can't play with it.

Pronouns: It. As in: "What is it? What does it want? Why is it here? Oh my god, it's got my... <insert random body part or object here>"

Likes: World Domination, Writing, Rpg, scifi/fantasy, anime, sketchup 3d models, and anime music videos.

Companions: a host of characters from other games, my personal muse Penny (as in Bad), and the Badger gang - Toothpick, Buttons, Shark, and Mongo. They grew up in the balcony of an old theatre that played a lot of gangster movies. Normally benign, but may invade the OOC forums.

$1,500 for a charity date with the park ranger? In this town?

From the back, Kat could see the two bidders, a guy with another guy, and a woman. The look that woman gave the man might have been a challenge. Fortunately, the man didn't try to top her bid. Still, he looked Russian, as did the older man beside him.

Kat glanced around, half-expecting Liam Neeson to pop up. From the looks she was seeing, others were shocked by the big bids too. Just what sort of things were going on here?

Was this why Uncle Oskar put her here? To watch what went on in this town? And why so much interest in the park ranger?

Clearly, she needed to reach out to Uncle Oskar and ask him to bring some more art supplies with him - whenever he was planning to show up.

Joining them would let her know what was going on quickly, but who knew what sort of danger she faced?
Going to need a cheat sheet just to keep everyone straight.
I imagine there’s broom mechanics a-la the dwarves in Terry Pratchett’s Discworld.

Toby’s Silver Wraith might be the only one Georgie’s ever seen, I imagine a similar conversation might happen at the Broom Repair Service. Is that a Model 4 Balthazar? Haven’t seen one in three decades. Does it still kick up during the waxing moon phases? Yeah they ironed that out for the model 5. Made the 4 a better racing model for sure though!

Just my headcanon at least.

I have to imagine that brooms are like bicycles - every kid wants one, and every kid can't wait until the training wings come off.

Spice - When this cantrip is used, whatever the spice or condiment is asked for is delivered - in a single serving. Best to avoid artificial sweeteners.
J'eon the Blacksmith

"But you can make a second skyship just like this one, since you have the numbers?" J'eon asked. "Since you can shape it so precisely?"

Jack Mallory, X.O.
"Rail gun be made ready, aye," Mallory replied back. "Wodan, what's the current state of the rail gun? How many shots is the ship capable at this time?"

While there had been a few repairs made, it was unclear if this was going to be a single shot or if they had the option of a follow-up. He really wanted to make sure any projectile launched would go to where they wanted it. There was also wear and tear of the weapon to consider. While the projectile was inside a sabot that would fall away once it exited the barrel, thus protecting the rails from undue wear and tear, there was always some degradation of the rails.

"Gentlemen, to your posts," he stated, heading towards the bridge.

@GiskI'm thinking of using some minor magic, a cantrip called Cocoon, to create an unseen umbrella-like shell anchored over my witch as she goes for coffee. Is that okay?

Now that I think about it, what would be some other cantrips that mages might use?

Blade - turns a fingernail into a small, sharp cutting surface. Great for opening boxes or letters, can inflict a paper cut.
Chill - cools something that your hand is touching, like a drink or a burn.
Cocoon - creates a light protective field around someone and whatever small items they're carrying. Acts like an invisible umbrella to keep out rain or an invisible sleeping bag to keep warmth in. Cannot block attacks.
Flutter - used to direct the flight of something light, like a feather or a piece of paper, through the air or along the ground. Some have been known to prank with this by dragging dollar bills along the ground.
Fly - allows the caster to fly with the aid of a broom or mop. It's important to remember you're not to ride the broom directly, but to levitate yourself above the broom slightly to avoid discomfort. Or install a bicycle seat and handlebars, and/or footrests. Alternately, one can hold unto a parasol or umbrella. Please remember to keep a firm grip on your broom or umbrella at all times.
Forget Me Not - the ability to imbue an object with a thought, useful for remembering combinations, phone numbers, or other small details.
Ignite - with a snap of the fingers, it creates a small flame dancing on the tip of a finger (like the index), suitable for lighting a candle, laid logs and kindling in the fireplace or campfire, tobacco pipe, cigar, or cigarette.
Ignore - Projects a "somebody else's problem" field around someone so that they are left alone. People know something is there, but unless they go looking through the corner of their eyes, their eyes just slide off it. Can be defeated by the All-Seeing Eye spell.
Light - used to create a small floating ball of light. This may be anchored to a wand or staff, or to the wall.
Magic Eye - allows you to spy from a spot on flat surface, like a window or walll.
Mend - able to fix small tears or cuts in fabric, cracks in wood or stone.
Out Out Damned Spot - used to remove small stains.
Probe - an invisible spot of force projected three feet in front of one's fingers, allowing them to touch something without actually using their hands.
Puff - creates a sudden puff of white smoke.
Stirrer - uses a finger to direct an object like a spoon or a ladle to stir something, either a cup or a cauldron.
Warm warms something your hand is touching, like a cold cup of coffee or tea, a slice of pizza, cold butter, or a sore muscle.
Whisper - a way of throwing your voice to someone in your line of sight, but that nobody else can hear.

Fly might be too much as a cantrip.

Withdrawn.
I would think most abilities would be passed down in families, with perhaps major and minor ones developing between two separate families. So if you're mother was a dampener, you might be too? Or perhaps there are dampener clones who act as nannies?
@Ace of flames01How are these abilities powered?

Is it internal, like a battery? How do they "charge" it? Or is it external, converting something outside of them, such has heat, that they draw out of large area? Large battles may require the construction of ovens for the combatants to draw on, while small battles between a few can cause frost and hypothermia in people who are too close.

Secondly, is one of the abilities to stop others from using theirs? A gifted dampener? No matter what's thrown at them, they can just negate it?

Kat Theodora Clark

Location: Festival | Interaction: Open / Nixie @Almalthia

"Card? No, I'm new here, all the cards were in the luggage," Kat sighs. They were so nice, with one of her designs decorating it. It was almost like an Artist Trading Card.

"I'm Theo, Theodora Clark," she said, glad that all that time looking in a mirror had paid off. A job meant money. She's even take pity money right now. Then froze. She didn't have a pen. Or a notebook. Or anything! Not even a smart phone.

"I don't have anything to write with, and I haven't gotten a phone, yet," she admitted, feeling the heat rising in her cheeks again. "I wasn't expecting any offers, since I don't have a booth or anything yet. Do you? Have paper and a pen?"
