Yes, 5 each post. Of course if a enemy figures out their purpose then they are free to try and break the leaves.They are not as strong as her sword so it is possible to break them, it is catching them that is the problem. IF one breaks a clone they would break a good chunk of the leaves as well.
I think it could work if it's played fairly.
For example, say they were fighting an enemy or some shit. It wouldn't be fair if the enemy couldn't slice the leaves because they were too fast (Yeah, it may be difficult, but they'd still have a chance of hitting). It also wouldn't be fair if the enemy could just easily break through the leaves because they are....Well, fragile as fuck leaves. Still a chance you'd miss a few, you see? As long as there's a bit of fairness in there (*Cough*despitearrancarsbeatingeveryonesassrn*Cough*) since you wouldn't have a cooldown and would gain leaves each turn.
Still though, this may be a thing Kurisa has to look at since it ignores the current battle system we have in place.
