Personality:
At first look Lie Ren looks like one of those guy who are power hungry, cocky, loves fighting, cares about nothing but. But he’s far from that, although he likes to test his abilities against others, in a serious fight he goes all out in the beginning as he doesn’t exactly find it entertaining to fight so he tries to end it as fast as he can. He’s serious in a fight when he finds it worth being serious, when there’s a risk aside from his own life, otherwise he does trash talk and gets sarcastic….Though he’s sarcastic even when being serious. Despite his distaste for fighting, he commends those who last long with him.

Outside a fight he’s very outgoing, even to the point that he’d speak out, disagree, and argue with a Captain and the head captain. If something he doesn’t like happens anyways, which may not be something that gives him a gold star as some don’t like that he’ll bluntly say whatever whenever, but it shows the courage and bravery he has. Bravery to the point that he’d betray the Soul Society if it were for the better good, or something that he believes heavily in. It may take away the meaning of loyalty, but he is loyal as long as he’s in/stuck to something. Though to those he’s close to, even if he ‘betrays’ them, he’ll do anything to protect them still.

History:
Lie grew up in a poor and dangerous district, with his mother, father, and sister. His father was ill, which led his ex-Shinigami mother to take care of him for most of the day. Growing up where they did, they had to learn to survive. While Seki too lessons from their mother, Lie took lessons from his father in terms of being a man, and about wrong and right, honor, all that stuff. Lie didn’t really care about the whole honor; it was about survival to him. He learned his fighting from fighting thugs, and everyday worked out. Then and there he didn’t care about following a code; he just wanted to protect his family. His mother seeing some of his fights got into contact with one of her old Shinigami friends, who agreed to teach Lie Hakuda while his mother looked after his father and trained his sister. Day by day, Lie trained with the Shinigami, showing great progress each time. As the years passed, Lie had stopped taking lessons as he was good enough to fight on his own against multiple thugs, even if they had weapons with them. He fought to protect his family who were being threatened constantly while his mother treated their father, him and his sister would deal with the thugs who came by. To make it easier, their mother had taught them both a light shunpo to give them an advantage in fights. Those were the times Lie had ever been serious in a fight, was to protect his family. In random street fights he’d taunt before ending the fights with just a couple quick jabs. As the years passed by their father started to get better, and their mother had more free time. Before the two could hardly do anything to thugs their mother had already knocked them out, due to that they were put into the academy to get stronger together.

Shikai skills:

1. Tsuyo-sa (Strength) – This ability increases Lie’s physical abilities. The increase to strength stays, though with a few extra enhancements that can only last a limited amount.

Strength 1 – While his normal punches are hard, when he activates strength 1 it allows his punches to become even harder. The punch is almost enough to crumble a small home. To activate this he must punch either one of his hands into his palms. (4 PD, 5 CD)

Strength 2 – Strength 2 enhances his legs, it helps him run a bit faster and gives them greater strength for harder hits. It also makes his legs lighter, the strength in his legs are the same as Strength 1. To activate this he kicks his feet like a bull. (3 PD, 4 CD)

Strength 3 – Strength 3 strengthens his whole body. It gives his arms enough strength to rip a Hollow in half, makes his torso more durable for hits, and makes his legs lighter so he can run faster. In this form it makes him a monster around Hollow, as he’s able to one-shot them, also makes him durable enough to take a cero shot from a Gillian. To activate this he must crack his knuckles. (1 PD [Durability stays for one extra post before it ends completely], 6 CD. It puts a strain on his body making him a bit slower afterwards and more vulnerable, and the amount he ran while his legs were lighter is weighed back on him)

Although he can activate one and two at the same time, it puts the same strain on his body as Strength 3 does, and puts a bigger strain than all three combined if he uses them all without rest.

2. Rōgafūfūken (Wolf fang fist) – A large amount of Spirit Energy will be sensed from him as it would be shown going a bit crazy around him before it dims down to a level almost to zero, despite the small outline of aura around him. With the next punch with his right, the large amount of energy will be sensed on his fist with a wolf made of aura surrounding it. The attack is powerful enough to send someone smashing into the earth itself, those weaker have a chance of being knocked out to the verge of death (I.e. really beat up, Hollows, etc.). Though if it was used right away on an enemy who wasn’t beat up in any way and was good on energy then the attack would mostly just hurt them, or cause an injury. The attack effect differs from person to person. (Can only use once until he regained all the energy he used, unless he somehow regained all his energy again, then it would be a six – seven CD)



3. Itami no nakkuru (Pain knuckle) – When this ability is activated, a miniature grim reaper holding a counter floats above his shoulder which can’t be destroyed. Any future damage taken add up on the counter, and once it reaches a certain time limit it rings loudly. Once the ringing stops, the damage he had taken the whole time is transferred into Spirit Energy that absorbs into his fist and releases as smoke. The amount of damage transferred can be released in one huge punch, or multiple small ones that stop dealing as much damage when the timer begins running out again. (Can only use once everyday. Damage taken before this ability is activated doesn’t transfer over, and he can still pass out from the damage he takes even if the ability is activated. Damage goes away when the timer is full, though he can still be at loss of stamina. If he isn’t hit within a certain amount of time then the timer goes away)

When they were warped into darkness, Aokiji began hearing noises. He kept calm as always, able to push the voices away and bring something in front of them. Throughout the one hundred years all he thought about was his family, more so imaginative events, suddenly he woke up on sand. He slowly stood and reached into his mask to feel his face to confirm something, then moved his hand and pulled his mask up. Turning around he heard Kaizo speak about leaving and he nodded walking towards him, he knew people would ask that question he was asking himself, so there was no reason for him to speak. He noticed the little girl Kaizo was talking about, his eyes laid on her for a bit before looking at Kaizo waiting on the others to group up.

"Well that's done?" Ayashi said as she watched Ryuu do....Whatever the hell he had done, she wasn't sure exactly, and she couldn't read him. He was a different one, a weird one. Ayashi shrugged it off as she walked into the Shinigami death portal portal thingy of death, the Senkaimon, and ended up back in the Soul Society. Kind of weird going in the portal from the sky to touching the ground, almost made her sick for some reason, but she held it down and headed towards Squad One once Ryuu stepped through. Once they reached the Squad one barracks she whistled and stepped inside, walking a bit ahead of Ryuu and going straight towards the Captain's office. She was going straight to the springs after this mission, she smirked a bit as she stretched an arm.
