but...they arent. at least not as far as i can see. yes they happen to be similar. but the kido corps is extremely secretive and everything is done in absolute secrecy. except for opening the senkaimon... for squad 2 the onmitsukido is heavily intergrated into the squad. so much so that they are considered synonymous. the top five seated officers of the squad hold positions in the onmisukido as department heads so to speak. but for the kido corps, at least in this RP ....the head captain runs it. and there is no captain for squad 5 so no one really runs either of them.

Im not sure about the other squads but i know for squad five it is not the kido corps yet as my character is in the kido corps and its been stated as seperate in the IC. However i would love to se them combined. In the near future. Hint hint thats my plan anway.

But I don't think it was saying Squad five was Kido corps, more so that they were related to each other, as it says:
The captain of the 5th Division is also captain of the Kidou Corps.
Like how the Captain of Squad 2 is also the head of shit like Onmitsukidō despite it being it's separate thing, it's still related to that Squad.
