As he killed the Hollow his head started to now hurt, which caused him to hold it to try and stop the piercing pain, he was now very confused as to what was happening. Yet he had to deal with it as it was, as Three much larger Hollows then appeared in a triangle formation all firing ceros. Yu managed to shunpo away from all the ceros as he held his head that was still ringing. "Is .....the leader hiding...... They just appear...... when a group dies..." Yu said as He shunpoed over to one of the large hollows and charged up his Reiatsu in his left hand before swinging it at the Hollows head while with his right hand he held his Zanpakuto at the other Hollow and used Okasen against it.

As the three Hollows appeared Ayashi thought it was weird how after they defeated a Hollow or a group of them more with an extra Hollow showed up. Someone was probably leading them, as the Hollows charged a cero she shunpo'ed away alongside Yu who mentioned the same thing she just thought of. He looked in pain though, before she could ask what was wrong he left to go attack. The Hollow he left free was the one she went after, she swung at it's mask with her Zanpakuto ability Yin Shadows Strike that made a shadow pierce at whatever she strike at. With her free hand she held it out at the Hollow Yu used Okasen on and used Sōkatsui to back him up.
