Adam is an outgoing guy who’ll speak to anyone however he wants, no matter who they are. He still has a good amount of respect for those above him in ranks, but he doesn’t let that restrict what he says. He also isn’t afraid to get physical with people no matter the age or gender, which makes him seem harsh….er than he actually is. He seems to forget people’s names if he finds them not worth his time, atleast that’s what he leads people to think as he actually cares about people and the future of humanity despite him being willing to sacrifice even rookies for whatever reason he see’s as best. Adam is pretty much a guy you wouldn’t want leading your Squad, or training you for that matter.

History:
Most of Adam’s childhood is now repressed memories; the most he remembers is fighting back against bullies and his parent’s deaths, two things that weren’t blocked out. He remembers at age eleven he decided he wanted to join the Scouting Legion which he set his mind to and did. Adam had excelled in 3D Gear which impressed even the tutors, as well his accuracy and speed. Though he lacked an amount of teamwork, as he wanted to do most things himself, and the fact that he didn’t want to risk being too good that he was given the choice to join the military before the proper age….And for the (other) fact that he made one friend there, a girl, named Michelle. He and she were best friends and he wanted more than that which is why he wanted to stay in training for four years with her. As they graduated, Adam came out as number three, he would have been higher if it wasn’t for him holding back to stay with Michelle he knew. On his first mission, a clean up mission, he cleared out the most Titans out of the entire group of new soldiers.

Adult status he was one of the best soldiers, atleast in the Scouting Legion, he was good enough to compare to a commander….Which was a position he never wanted, nor strived for, as he just wanted to be with and protect Michelle. Michelle and Adam had been dating for more than a few years, and she had even given birth to a girl. A few months afterwards they were sent out on another mission where the two were to be split off. Adam trusted her to protect herself, and the others to give her backup. Once the mission was over, the news is what caused Adam to become what he is today. They had told him that Michelle died which angered him; he said nothing as they headed back to the wall.

Adam had given his daughter away after Michelle’s death, which may have seemed wrong and out of anger or whatever people would interpret, he just didn’t want the burden of protecting her….Or more so what he’d feel if he couldn’t protect her. On his next mission he was sent out to kill an abnormal titan that somehow kept leading titans towards the wall. Adam had gotten a bit of justice that day, as the ones he was sent out with were the ones who were with Michelle when she died. He just sat back as they tried fighting the abnormal, which was too quick for any of them. Adam had made sure they all died before he jumped in and killed it by himself, something he has kept his dark little secret for a long time. ‘Till the present day he still feels nothing from letting them die, but he does feel something from giving his daughter away, which is somewhat the reason he doesn’t say his actual name. He hopes one day he may get to see her, maybe in the trainees one day.

Personality:
Dante is a quiet, clever, and serious type of guy. He may also come across as a little bit lazy as he would rather get things done as soon as possible so he can go relax. He doesn’t speak unless spoken to or he finds interest in speaking, otherwise he’s dead silent. He’s easily annoyed and although he won’t show anger, he gives death glares to people. He finds most people annoying, especially if they’re noisy, but he has a few exceptions.

History:
Dante grew up in a long line of soldiers, and it’s become tradition in their well-off family that the males join the Scouting Legion which is the only reason he’s joining. From a young age he studied hourly about the titans, 3D Gear, blades, and anything Military related as well as learned how to ride horses. Most things the Scouting Legion does, Dante has been prepared for since a young age up until he joined the trainee Squad.

Due to his past, the constant reading and learning, Dante likes to get things over with quickly as he feels as if he’s done enough training in the past to do anymore stuff. He hardly wants to kill titans since he was forced into it, which is why he tries to get it over with quick, as in try and let others do most of the work for him. ‘Teamwork’ they call it.

Alison – Alison is one of the very few people he takes interest in, as he likes her reasoning to join the Military and likes her skill. He may also, sort, kind of have a crush on her but wouldn’t admit it nor talk to her about it. If anyone would ask him about it he’d just say she was cute and then move on. But despite that she’s a good friend who he works well with.

Kevin - Kevin is one of the many people who annoys Dante to the point he just wants to kill him, which is figuratively. Despite how much Kevin annoys him, Dante is used to him and in reality Kevin is Dante's best friend and childhood friend. Dante would die and kill for Kevin, and declares himself the only one who can give him death glares.

She hardly shows people the side of her that hates humanity, and even rarely tells why. All she seems to be is pissed at everyone, though she can be quite nice to specific people, don’t get your hopes up.

He’s usually seen alone or with Hans, and visits Alex once in a while for whatever reason.

Hans – Levitt and Hans have a respectful relationship, more so of a good friendship. Hans and Levitt being somewhat serious due to their profession, together they seem to let that go and laugh/smile more than they would alone. They’re both also sarcastic, so it goes well.

Alexandria – Multiple times has he been seen visiting Alex, no one knows why though.

Adam – Adam and Levitt were friendly when they were younger, and Adam had placed one space above Adam when they graduated. They hardly talk anymore seeing as though Adam is with the Scouting Legion and Levitt is with Garrison.

Other:
Was the strongest soldier in Garrison, was placed as commander when the last one passed. He takes control in the matter of all defenses behind the wall as outside of the wall is left to the Scouting Legion, as well the Military Police controls Sina. It has been seen that he sends his own men out to go back the Scouting Legion up when they’re in need of it.

She’ll let people insult her despite her rank, the insults don’t affect her, but she likes talking about problems and getting them handled as she cares about humanity and wants to keep humanity as happy as it can be….Or atleast as satisfied as it can be.

All that is needed to know is that she grew up outside of the wall and was once chased by an abnormal titan through a forest, a soldier saved her and brought her to the wall where she wanted to join the Scouting Legion and live up to the man who saved her.

With Adam being one of her best soldiers, probably better than herself, she usually keeps him to her side to ask for advice or orders him to go kill a certain amount of titans other can’t. She would promote him to a lead soldier, but knows he doesn’t want to be anything other than a normal soldier. Despite that he still has a bit of power over the other soldiers due to his relationship with the commander.

Note: This RP doesn’t follow the canon events (I.e Colossal Titan breaching Maria), this is a new story line and most canon things aren’t going to be involved except for knowledge of the walls, Titans, etc.

As well, I would like characters to start off as trainees unless told otherwise. We will start off the day before (Or earlier the day of) graduation.

Several hundred years ago, humans were nearly exterminated by Titans. Titans are typically several stories tall, seem to have no intelligence, devour human beings and, worst of all, seem to do it for the pleasure rather than as a food source. A small percentage of humanity survived by walling themselves in a city protected by extremely high walls, even taller than the biggest Titans. Flash forward to the present and the city has not seen a Titan in over 100 years.

Wall Maria



Wall Maria is the outermost wall of the human kingdom. Its radius is 480 km. Like the other walls, Wall Maria is approximately 50 meters in height. The distance between Wall Maria and Wall Rose is around 100 km.

Shiganshina District

Wall Rose is the second outermost wall following Wall Maria. It is 380 km in radius. The distance between Wall Rose and Wall Maria is 100 km, and the distance between Wall Rose and Wall Sina is 130 km.

Wall Sina is the innermost wall protecting the kingdom where the king and other civilians reside. It is 250 km in radius. The distance between Wall Sina and Wall Rose is around 130 km. The city inside Wall Sina is protected by the Military Police serving under the king.

Rules

1. Listen to me and the Co-GMs (Rusty, Phobos, and Kurisa). If you have a problem with something we say, what characters do, or just simply strongly disagree with something try not to lash out in the OOC. Be professional and talk about it respectfully, or take it to the PMs.

2. There's no limit to how much you can post, but there is a limit to how little. As this is Casual atleast three sentences per post as that's the minimum amount of sentences for a paragraph. Here we want to cater to all writers of the Casual section.

3. There's no limit to how many characters you can make, as long as you can handle them all. Of course, if you can't handle them all and want to make them Titan food by all means make them Titan food. As well, Titan Shifters will not be in this RP unless it's for story purposes so it's best to not ask to make one.

4. No god mod, meta gaming, all the obvious rules that is everywhere. C'mon, we're smart enough to know not to do these things. Pretty much don't be a jackass, stay logical (As far as this world goes anyways), and be respectful.

Abilities/Point section

To keep the RP active and to keep people striving for something (As well help develop abilities and to RP an upraise to becoming stronger) a point system has been implicated. The more points you get from missions (Characters will be put into Squads), the more you can spend on upgrading abilities. Some abilities are used to raise other abilities like Battle Skill.

3D Gear is required to be leveled up ahead of Battle Skill in order for battle skill to be leveled up, as you can't have good Battle Skill if you can't use your 3D Gear. Say 3D Gear is upgraded 10/20 and Battle Skill is upgraded only 1/10, if you have nine points then those could be put into Battle Skill, though once Battle Skill is upgraded on the same level as 3D Gear you must upgrade the 3D Gear before you can put more into Battle Skill. The same goes for Intelligence and Strategy, you apply your intelligence to strategy so you must upgrade intelligence before you upgrade strategy.

3D Gear: Upgrading this ability allows you to upgrade your Battle Skill, as well cuts down gas consumption and makes it easier to use the Gear. Fully upgraded, it allows the character to move faster and easier with even a limited amount of gas left, and makes it harder for Titans to catch them.

Battle Skill: This ability can only be upgraded by upgrading the 3D Gear first. Upgrading this ability makes it so the character has more accuracy, and strength, as well a bit more agility. Fully upgraded allows characters to use their blades for a longer amount of time than most without them breaking. When this ability gets upgraded enough characters are allowed to come up with, and use proficiently, their own battle moves (Levi's spin attack).

Initiative: This ability can be upgraded on it's own. Upgrading this ability is good if the character's Battle Skill or Strategy is decent, as it allows them to act more independently without a team or veteran/Squad Captain to watch them constantly. Although this ability can be upgraded alone, it does require a decent amount of Battle Skill or Strategy to be independent (Logic). At a certain point if this skill is high enough (With a high enough Battle Skill or Strategy level) it may allow characters to fight Deviant types alone.

Intelligence: Upgrading this ability allows you to upgrade strategy. But upgrading this ability allows characters to think faster than the norm, as well causes them to catch on faster to things and learn things quicker. Once this ability is upgraded enough character's are able to come up with their own special skill involving their intelligence (Or get into some type of research).

Strategy: This ability can only be upgraded by upgrading Intelligence first. Upgrading this ability allows characters to come up with strategies quick to defeat and trap opponents. Fully upgrading this ability allows characters to think and act fast enough to catch even a running Titan.

Teamwork: This one pretty much speaks for itself, and is able to be upgraded by itself. Upgrading it allows characters to fight as one, making it difficult for titans to fight back. If a two people's teamwork is upgraded near the same amount then together it'd seem as if all their abilities are doubled if they fight together. When this ability is fully upgraded, and if two people have fully upgraded Teamwork and near the same stats in Intelligence and Battle Skill then it allows them to fight even better with each other than the strongest soldier probably could alone. They're able to read each other and figure out their next course of action without even speaking.

Only two stats can be mastered (20/20), while the others stats stay 17 and below.

Military

Humanity's defense against Titans is a full-time, professional army trained to deal with Titans. The military is divided into three divisions: the Survey Corps, which explores outside human territory to hostile areas in a bid for expansion, lately receiving a new mission from the Capital to research the Titans and where they originate from; the Garrison, which patrols and maintains the Walls keeping Titans out and acting as the first to engage the Titans if the gate is destroyed; and the Military Police, the top-ranking soldiers who serve as the personal guards for the king and maintain order within the Walls.

Survey Corps

The Survey Corps, also known as the Scouting Legion, Scout Regiment, or Recon Corps, is the driving force of the plot and story as it is the branch of the Military most actively involved in Titan combat and human expansion. Despite having little success, they still symbolize 'the hope of mankind', their insignia being known as 'the Wings of Freedom'; they hope that someday, their efforts will change the world known for humanity's better, and recover what had been lost.

This military division is in charge of the exploration and the eventual reclamation of human territory from Titan-infested lands. A more recent unofficial duty has been Titan observation and research. Given the safer nature of exploring within Wall territory (since Titans can only enter Wall at one point), a wealth of information has been revealed such as their tolerance of pain, sunlight dependence, and intelligence.

The Survey Corps are the smallest branch of the military, with a maximum size of 300 soldiers. Their stables also include a total of 600 specially-bred horses. These horses are noted to be exceptionally valuable, and bred for great speed, stamina, and calm temperament.

Garrison

The Garrison, also known as the Stationary Guard, is the largest of the Military divisions which protects and maintains order near the Walls. Given the fatality rate of the Survey Corps and the limited entry of the Military Police Brigade, most soldiers join the Garrison. As they often have close contact with both Titans and human civilians, they are proficient over a wide variety of tasks such as Titan combat (defensive battles), cannonading, security detail, crowd control, and rifle usage.

The Garrison takes care of all defenses for the Wall whether it be patrols, repairs, or improvements. As such, they spend most of their time preparing for attacks against the Wall. The Garrison mans the cannons on the Wall that are often used for long-range Titan defense. They must also deal with civilian evacuation and have emergency plans for dealing with scenarios for when the Wall is breached.

The Garrison is the largest of the three branches, with a total of 30,000 soldiers. Members of the Trainee Corps are considered in this total, until their graduation and enlist in a chosen branch. Their total number of combat-ready personnel is a mere 3rd of this total, at 10,000 soldiers.

Their structure consists of Regiments, Brigades, and Divisions. A regiment is the smallest unit, consisting of 1000 soldiers. A Brigade consists of anywhere between 2,000 and 3,000 soldiers, or 2-3 regiments. And finally, the largest units are Divisions, which consist of 2 Brigades.

Military Police Brigade

The Military Police Brigade is the most prestigious due to their work allowing them to live safely within the Inner Wall, abundant resources, and higher authority over other military sectors. However, in reality it is the most corrupted military sector due to a lack of oversight compared to the other sectors of the military. Due to their misuse and abuse of authority, the Military Police Brigade is also at odds with Garrison and especially with the Survey Corps. Only the top ten alumni from trainee squads can apply for the Military Police Brigade.

The Military Police Brigade is the primary police force within human territory. Not only do they maintain order, they serve as the king's guard. Since they do not normally come in contact with Titans, they must have special permission to use 3D gear and usually carry firearms such as rifles instead. They are also in charge of tax collection and land distribution.

The Military Police Brigade is an organization with 2,000 members, with direct command over 3,000 additional personnel from the Garrison. This brings their total potential manpower to 5,000 soldiers. Their forces are divided between the major Districts, with 200 officers assigned per District.

What I do to swerve to the back of their necks is jump, hold the gas, attach to the side of their neck and then reel in while holding my attack. I let go of the gas mid-way reeling in because it automatically pulls me to the side behind them o3o
