Well that's fine since the RP takes place a 100 years after the show. As for what you should know, you could try reading the first of the OOC which is right
here. You can be part of a guild, join on sooner or later in the RP, or be guildless. It's your character, you choice, but you could always ask us more questions if you want.

here of what has happened in the RP if you want to read that. But if you want to quick summary of that summary, it goes like this. Phoenix Wing (light guild) eventually becomes more known throughout Fiore as a guild that is trying to show that wizards can be good and not bad as the tales during those 100 years ago. Phoenix Wing eventually decides to confront the Magic Council who had corrupt members, which resulted into a battle between the two with the guild victorious. With the Magic Council trying to reform itself, dark guilds (who were active) became less active. Currently we are in the Magic Games arc, there are 6 days and we're currently on the 5th which is a day of rest for everyone. And that is how much I could probably say, that may be helpful if your character has been listening to the news.
