I was thinking about having Frye ask Nolan to show him how much magic power he has since Frye couldn't sense it from a lacrima screen. Perhaps Jacey could possibly stumble upon them when she isn't busy or something.

Within a alley way, a wooden door of a tavern, weakened from constant repairs, swung open and shattered against the wall. A man who looked old in his adult year emerged with his clothes heavily dusted as if it hasn't been cleaned for days from intensive work. Each step was sluggish, but he got his footing back once he leaned his arms against the wall that was across the tavern. From inside the tavern, the bartender left his counter with a furious expression on his face. "FRYE!!!".

"PETE! I've been to many taverns and breweries that say their drinks are the best. But your homemade brews can still knock the mightiest of beasts out! I should know, HA!" Fyre chuckled as he reached inside his jacket and threw a bag of jewels to the barkeeper. "I hope that should suffice. Wish I could come more often, but I got places to find and be. Thanks for the place to crash!" He still had a leap in his walk thanks to the heavy drink from last night. But once he left the alleyway and walked the open streets, he was able to get back into his usual self, a bit.

Yesterday he finished a rather disappointing job, but the amount of jewels rewarded was enough to overlook it.
Where else was I going to find spare jewels to spend at Pete's old tavern. That drink still has the same kick those few years ago. He was scratching his stubble from the awkward position that he woke up from when he overheard shouting in the distant from some guy. As he was going to ignore the cause of the event, as he usually does, he couldn't help but notice an attractive blond woman with a very nice pair on her. Curious why she had a upset expression, he looked in the direction of where she walked from and notice a familiar person. He walked closer for a better inspection and realized that it was that wizard who fought some of Frenzy Plant's high ranking wizards. The battles from the Magic Games that replayed on Pete's Tavern lacrima screens last night showed some rather entertaining scenes from the Games. Fyre approached the kid without caring that his entire clothes held a heavy alcohol stench while his breath reeked the most thanks to Pete. "Hey kid, you part of the Games right? How did it feel fighting those Frenzy Plants during the Games?" Although he might of looked and smelled like a drunk, his voice wasn't slur and spoke quite fine.

I'm intrigued, so I hope your post is coming up soon. So far, this entire event has become really entertaining to think on.

I'm really curious about what could happen too. Part of me really wants to see what could happen if things start instantly heading south. But the other part of me is curious if this entire situation could be defused instead of starting some kind of explosion.

If you want to have Nolan do something, I might have a guy that could briefly talk to him. It would help me introduce the character a bit more properly. Enough that it would make me finally post the CS.

If you're interested, could you please post as Nolan first so I have an idea of what he is doing since since Ariel isn't around at the moment (she will be missed :'( ). It would make it easier for me since my character has seen him in the Games, but isn't trying to look for Nolan, he would just notice him in the crowd of the city.

Sure, well, the character I'm thinking of is someone who can take relatively simple powers and get really creative with them. The Barrier Magic is similar to the way it's depicted in this anime Kekkaishi or what Invisible Woman does with her forcefields, such as being able to carry objects and people with barriers, creating platforms to walk on air, collapsing barriers on a target to destroy them, forming weapons, and so on.

Portal Magic would be like using portals to redirect attacks back at their source, using them to cut stuff by cancelling a portal when the target is partway through them, teleporting objects and people to distant places, or bringing something through, laying traps, being able to spy on targets from vast distances and relay info, and so on so forth.

Mmm, I'm hoping this character has some morals since being able to "cut stuff by cancelling a portal when the target is partway through them" sounds a bit OP if it can be used one anything, specifically people. But I'm assuming that there is some kind of limit or strain to the size or distant of the portals?

Also I like idea you have for the barrier magic. I would have said that, but I know that we already have someone that uses a magic similar to barrier (called Absolute Defense). @Lunarlors34, are you okay if someone uses barrier magic. Also I always wondered why Cody couldn't just make his own weapon and armor from his magic. But I'm assuming that's because of how much magic that might cost him?

I don't mind either one. But if I had to choose, I would go with the portal themed.

Mmm, actually. If you can, could you please describe how the two would would work. It would be nice to see a little detail of it.

I suppose so, but for what and/or why are the questions. I remember that last time when he visited where the monks were, he got some swords and left. Also was it before, during, or after he visited that place was when he learned his new magic, that part is a bit blurry for me since it was long awhile ago.

Another thing occurred to me. I don't think we really explored much of places outside of Fiore. I know there were some mentions of some characters traveling there or are from there. But haven't done much then that. Sure there was Edolas, but that's a completely different world, I'm talking about a different country. And this is a similar case for the actual fairy tail series, except for the Alveraz empire part which I enjoyed and still enjoying.

Anyone interested in the idea of going on an adventure to a foreign country in Earthland?
