I know, but these soldiers aren't like they used to be. Theve got defensive measure for nearly every attack. They attack the enemy according to their power type, so if the enemy uses water, they'll use with fire to subdue them, or freeze them.
In techi's case, they'd use electric pylons as weapons. The moment that she zaps them, theyd make sure she hit the pylon, which is connected to a containment system, so they could capture her.
Even if they have amazing defensive measure. There is the priority rule.

It is. Theoretically I could set my attacks to deal physical damage, but I don't think I've ever needed to do such a thing.
Theoretically, you could stop talking and continue to subdue the army in a more efficient matter. But it seems that idea hasn't been implemented at all in your head.
