Personality: Given Hana Song's previous exploits before exploding both on the world stage and actually exploding things, it's not surprise to many that there's a bit of a competitive streak to the young girl. For the most part it's all done in the spirit of friendly competition, even if her accomplishments behind the screen and behind the controls have made her a bit on the playful side of arrogant. She doesn't harbor any true feelings of hatred or anger towards those who work with her, but that won't stop her from showing a bit of harmless disrespect. It's ingrained into the culture she grew up with. 

Because of her attitude, which still seems to treat the very real threats both to her homeland and the world as nothing more than a game, people tend to treat her as a child, or at least as someone who should not be at the front lines with those who have trained and given blood and body for their respective causes. It always annoys Hana when people call her out on her age or her attitude, quickly turning her playful gamer-level jargon into professional gamer level smack talk. Underestimating her in any of her excelled fields is a quick way to get yourself on her unfollow list. 

Though Hana is very skilled on and off the field of battle, at heart she's still quite unfamiliar with the true costs and realities of conflict. Everything is seen as a game, even when she's on the front lines chances are she'll be interacting with her followers while supposedly on assignment. For as serious as she wants her comrades to treat her, she still comes off as a doe-eyed little girl messing with things she really shouldn't. Not everyone who has access to high-tech military technology is strict and serious, and D. Va is about the most atypical soldier one could think of. But then, when the brunt of a military unit is made up of professional gamers what is 'typical' anymore?

Physical Appearance: D. Va herself is not especially tall, with a rather medium height, and despite the typical stereotype her physique is rather slender and athletic, built for agility rather than more demanding tasks. She's a pilot with reflexes, not some heavy lifting front liner. Outside of her bright pink MEKA, she might go unnoticed when out of her Exo Force uniform, which is really more restricting than it looks. Hana adopts a rather low key, low effort style of casual wear, with shorts and t-shirts (because they're comfortable for a marathon sesh) being rather typical. Her headphones give the illusion of Hana having bunny ears, which fits her mascot iconography rather well. She almost always has her headphones on, since they do more than just allow her to hear things at a louder volume. 

Hana's hair is a lustrous brown and falls to below her neck, styled in such a way that her bangs never drape in front of her eyes, resting rather comfortably against her forehead. Her eyes are as brown as her hair and on her face, which is slightly pale in hue, are pink 'whiskers' that are definitely not bandages and certainly not colored on but definitely add to her whole 'cute appeal' thing. If the bunny on her uniform and the charm on her phone and pistol didn't do that already.

Brief History: Born in Busan, Hana Song was relatively unheard of for the first half of her life. At a young age she took an interest in games due to the presence of many well known professional gamers throughout the country. Hana took an interest in Starcraft, still a highly popular game among a vocal audience. Hana went under the radar at first as she learned the game and its mechanics. Hana started taking part in the WCS Korea Code S League of professional Starcraft. At the age of sixteen, Hana Song, using the handle D. Va, erupted onto the scene by becoming the number one ranked player in the world, a title she would go on to hold for three years. 

With her status as the number one player in the world, D. Va's popularity increased practically overnight. Her streams suddenly had viewers in the hundreds of thousands of viewers with only like a handful posting things other than Kappa and BibleThump; she was being sponsored by companies and doing television commercials in Korea. She even managed to get a starring role in an upcoming Hollywood blockbuster. Fame certainly had its rewards. 

Her role on the worldwide stage would only increase.

Korea, suffering from regular attacks from an adapting omnic monstrosity for twenty years, was unable to have its drone MEKAs succesfully defend the nation due to the omnic disabling the drone-control networks. With nowhere left to turn, Korea turned to its nations professional gamers to pilot the once pilot-less drones as only gamers had the reflexes and instincts needed to pilot the MEKA and combat the omnic threat. Naturally, as the highest ranked and most popular gamer in the world, D. Va was drafted right away and, after much explanation, was able to get the government and military to allow the MEKA unit to stream their combat operations. Because to D. Va, live combat was kind of just like a new game. One of those VR things with force feedback and everything. 

D. Va is fairly certain that her commanding officers don't like that she's put sponsorship logos on her uniform but she has to keep her sponsors happy. Well, them and the fans, of course. D. Va's ability and willingness to defend her home from threats has caught the attention of those who would rebuild Overwatch. Or from those who would really want an autograph. 

Combat Role: Tank

Sub-class: Offensive Tank

Abilities:
	Boosters: Using MEKAs thrusters as well as its momentum, D. Va can boost around and cover ground. She can take to the air, turn, and even barrel straight through/into enemies and enemy lines. The thrusters don't last forever and need a quick recharge time, which can be quite risky if it runs out right in the heart of enemy territory. 

Defense Matrix: Pulling up a forward-facing targeting array, D. Va can shoot down incoming projectiles provided that they are actual projectiles and not, say, a particle beam or cryo spray. She can hold the Matrix up in front of her for four sustained seconds, but so long as she doesn't burn through them in one burst she can continually bring it up. When she burns through the Matrix fully, she cannot bring it up again for ten seconds.

Call MEKA: When out of her mech, D. Va can summon a fresh one and get back into the fray.

Fusion Cannon: D. Va's mech comes equipped with twin fusion cannons that barrel down on enemies with its continuous rapid fire. At a range her bullets drop off and are less effective but up close they tear through those caught in its path. Though the cannons don't need to reload, she cannot move quickly when firing nor can she boost or use her defense matrix while firing. 

Light Gun: When outside of her mech, D. Va can use her sidearm, a rapid firing pistol, to keep herself in the middle of the fight. Though she sacrifices the robot protection, she can fire faster and is potentially more lethal while being more susceptible herself. 

Self Destruct D. Va sets her mech's reactor to explode as she ejects out of it. The reactor will explode after three seconds and thanks to a new upgrade to military hardware, the explosion no longer harms her. When combined with thrusters, she can use the exploding mech like a very fast, very mobile bomb. Nerf this? Try a buff, scrubs.

Strengths: While she might lack the stopping power of more typical tank-y sorts, such as that grandpa in the body armor, D. Va more than makes up for with pure pressure and presence. With her mobility and her smart use of Defense Matrix, D. Va can really scramble an enemy's defensive lines. In other words, the giant pink mech can thoroughly distract people while the rest of the team closes in and brings the hurt. While not as good at flanking as, well, flankers, D. Va can get real up close to those who hide behind placed weapons, like turrets, and take them out and get away relatively unharmed. Leave gramps to protect the children, she's going to cause chaos up close. And then leave.

Weaknesses: A giant robot means a giant target, even more so than usual. Though her mech has a hefty amount of armor protecting it, it cannot handle a constant stream of rapid fire or heavy ordinance, and if she's left defenseless then it's good-bye robot. Outside of the mech, D. Va has just her wits and her pistol. WHile she can still perform, she has no real way to defend herself when outside of the robot at which point she is better off falling back, even if that means less excitement for her viewers.

The true enemy of humanity is disorder.

Real Name: Satya Vaswani

Age: 28

Race: Human

Nationality: Indian

Personality: To some, Symmetra seems a bit on the wrong side of things, but those sorts lack the far thinking and understanding that a woman like Satya Vaswani possesses. Symmetra is obsessed with order, believing wholly that order is the key for a perfect society, which is what the world could use now in the wake of the Omnic Crisis. Though her beliefs are strong and her defense of these beliefs put her on the edge of fanaticism, Symmetra truly does wish to make the world a better place for people, particularly the innocent and the young. With her belief, however, comes doubts that her company has the same philosophy as she does. 

Due to her belief in order, Symmetra hates this naive idea of 'freedom' and those that strive for it. She knows, she believes that this notion of true freedom that certain people spout and sing about is nothing more than an illusion and a pipe dream; something that would do far more harm to the world than good. Symmetra does not understand why people, when given the option, would choose to live in squalor just because it is their home. Why can't people understand how much good order and Vishkar can do for the world? 

Satya has a certain preoccupation for perfection, for symmetry, and is visibly bothered when people, for example, hang up a painting crookedly. She's not a fan of crowds, of all the chaos and the disorder they bring, and she always likes to plan thinks to an almost meticulous detail. Being 'careless' is how people make mistakes and how people die. Satya Vaswani is striving for a better world, a world in perfect order, and people will understand eventually. They have to.

Physical Appearance: A woman of unremarkable height, Symmetra has a rather unassuming presence, save the architect arm that she carries on the job, of course. Her uniform at Vishkar is a formal, stark white with absolutely no wrinkles (she would not stand for one, of course). When working as Symmetra she adopts a more loose fitting tunic, a visor, and a photon projector that aid in her constructs. Her hair is a deep black and either left to flow behind her (when Symmetra) or tied up in more formal styles (when Satya of Vishkar). She also is rather fond of the color blue, as she paints her nails the color.

Brief History: Satya Vaswani was born in Hyderabad, India in conditions that were hardly ideal for anyone, let alone a child. As a youth she shied away from others, spending many of her days alone; often she was asked where she "fell on the spectrum" which often bothered her, only serving to further drive her away from others. From crowds. From disorder. 

After the Omnic Crisis, the Vishkar Corporation based in southern India began aiding the broken world with means of supplying homes for those left homeless after the Crisis. They accomplished this through a technology known as 'hard light', creating physical objects with nothing more than a light source. Those with proper training could become 'architects', people that used hard light to create cities in the blink of an eye. Architects were not easy to come by and Vishkar devoted resources to training those with the potential to become architects. 

Satya Vaswani was one of those potentials and was taken from poverty and placed into Vishkar's Architect Academy, away from home - where she would not be allowed to return to - and more alone than ever. As such, Satya dealt with her isolation by pouring herself into her studies. Satya became one of the top students of her class thanks to how she approached her building; while her peers used the more rigid, mechanical methods, Satya used motions from a dance native to her home. As she became a full fledged architect in the Vishkar built city Utopaea, Vishkar saw a better use for Satya's talents.

Giving her the moniker 'Symmetra', Satya was sent on clandestine operations throughout the world, ostensibly to spread Vishkar's influence and uphold their interests. One of these operations was to secure a development deal in Rio de Janeiro, promising the residents of a favela that Vishkar would make their lives better. Vishkar's deal was not granted and Symmetra was tasked with finding something to ensure that Vishkar would get the deal. When she could not, due to her target being too clean legally, her Vishkar handler resorted to more extreme measures. Symmetra, who was not fond of killing, looked on in horror as the flames roared through the favela. Vishkar got the deal. Vishkar rebuilt the slums. But at what cost, Satya wondered. At what cost. Vishkar instilled order in Rio in their usual manner: curfews, punishing lawless behavior harshly, and using the citizens as a labor force. Things were in order. 

Still, Satya believes that her actions are for the good of humanity as a whole, but doubt is constantly in the back of her mind. 

Combat Role: Support

Sub-class: Builder

Abilities:
	Proton Shield: While theoretically the applications for her hard light tech are endless, Symmetra uses it in a more traditional way: protection. She surrounds others with a hard-light shield that protects them from harm and regenerates should it go down. In a pinch, it can mean the difference between life and death.

	Sentry Turret: Again, while the applications of hardlight have so many possibilities, Symmetra goes for something practical. She can place turrets onto any flat, solid surface in the blink of an eye. Though her turrets are rather fragile, they instantly fire upon the first person to cross their paths, slowing them and doing them harm. Sustained fire from all of her placed turrets is one way to have a bad day. Or she can be more strategic about it and use her turrets to protect the back line and to watch for those who decide to get a bit too close. 
	
	Photon Projector: Symmetra's side arm projects a short range beam that homes in on those who get close. As it remains connected it increases in damage, to the point where a fully charged projection can practically melt even the hardiest of hardened soldiers.

	Secondary Fire: The photon projector can also shoot a ball of pure energy that, while slow moving, is particularly harmful.

	Teleporter: Symmetra, using her architecture abilities, creates a device that allows people to pass through space and arrive elsewhere. Common tongues call this a teleporter. It allows for quick movement around a battlefield or even a quick retreat if need be. It can only teleport so many people before it goes offline, but she can potentially build as many as needed when she can. 

Strengths: An unorthodox support, Symmetra doesn't heal her team in the traditional manner. She can extend their life...provided they are smart enough to not waste her shields, and she can ensure that they are never out of the fray for long. Her turrets can provide intel on enemies attempting to flank or come up the blind side, effectively giving her eyes in the back of her head. When charged, her photon projector can catch unprepared, unexpecting sorts off guard. 

Weaknesses: With a limited number of turrets and their fragile state, someone that can push through her defensive line can then turn around and destroy it. Since her projector requires a close proximity, she's more susceptible to being harmed thanks to the slow attack speed. Someone who can out maneuver her will always have the upper hand, just the same someone who has the aerial advantage over her AND her turrets/teleporter spell disaster for Satya.
