She has a certain...girl off the street look for her, which is coincidentally almost fully accurate. But she doesn't feel the need to dress skimpily or like some stuffy business broad because of it. Hers is a natural sort of charm and charisma, with an expressive face that works well with her pale skin and burnt hair color. She manages to be just as confident, if not more so, than the people who are confident solely because of their bodies - and she doesn't have to be a bitch to get that across.

Unless chosen otherwise by the company, Dana will typically be found sporting business casual attire - a holdover from her sales jobs - with blouses and pants when she's speaking and clothes she can move in when at ringside. » Hana "Death Adder" Song is a striker pure and simple. She likes using quick, accurate strikes rather than going for grapples or a good ground game. Grapplers are slow and cumbersome and tire out easily. People that focus on submissions are just trying to show off and are too passive to truly go for a killing shot. Her kicks are lethal. Her slaps and chops are like being bitten by pure venom. And that's only what she does legally. The Death Adder is not above using whatever methods are available to her to ensure her opponent is not getting up. Cheating? Fair game. Beating down pre or post match? Loves it. Mind games? She wrote the fucking book on these bitches. Like the venomous snake she is, each shot is precise and delivered in such a way to turn even the most cocksure of opponents into nothing but a weeping pile of tears, fears, sadness and pain. The Death Adder is not just a wrestler. She's an assassin.

» Like the snake she named herself after, Hana sees herself as someone packing a lot of venom in a smaller package. Not someone you want to trust, her words are just as much a weapon as her feet are. It's all about her, meaning that if she stands to gain nothing, she'll do nothing, but if there's something to be gained then there is no limit, short of actual crimes, that she won't go to to ensure that she is the last woman standing. Never one to accept a fair fight fairly, a real snake in the grass, waiting for the right time to sink her teeth into unsuspecting victims. Everything she does is in order to cut her victims down to size. She doesn't have opponents. She has victims. Hana is not above intentionally losing a match if she isn't interested in whoever is put against her; she picks her victims, not the other way around. And they'll know when the eyes of the Adder are on them. It isn't just a deconstruction in the ring, either. Hana bites into them, spreading her venom, using her words to cut them down, using her strikes to hurt them, and ultimately leaving them dead in the ring. Metaphorically, of course. It doesn't matter how long it takes, Hana isn't done until she stands over her latest victim, taking in the expression of fear and pain that is on their face.

Hana is the Death Adder.

» She would be a face if people didn't find her lack of morals and willingness to cheat or not fight to be hate worthy. So she's a heel. A heel that doesn't discriminate.

» Hana doesn't have backstage friends because she intentionally doesn't let people get close to her. As far as people are concerned, who she is when she's the Adder is who she is all the time. Needless to say she doesn't have the most sterling of reputations given her work ethic. She will flatout refuse to work a match against someone she is not interested in fighting and it has lead to many complications with the staff and her fellow roster members. When she does have a match she cares about, though, Hana isn't against being a general, calling a match on the fly. No one can deny she knows her stuff, it's just that she's so selective about when she shows it off. Hana could well be a nice person, she just doesn't show much in the way of consideration for the roster. If someone starts an argument backstage, most of the time it's Hana's fault. She has no filter backstage - and only barely has one when the cameras are on. People often wonder how she hasn't gotten fired and that, of course, leads to all sorts of rumors from all sides.

People have noted, however, that Hana tends to soften up right around the time it's wellness policy check time. There's bound to be a reason.

Gotham City: Shadow of the Bat

Hope Sandoval

Appearance: With an above average height of six-foot-one, Hope cuts an impressive figure, or at least an impressive silhouette, if not an immediately intimidating one. And to be sure there is something to be intimidated about and it isn't the badge on her suspender straps nor the gun at her hip, but her physique which, thanks to frequent trips to the GCPD gym and a strictly governed dietary routine, is impressive. While she doesn't have the rippling, chiseled rock solid build, there is clear musculature to be found especially in her arms, and only a trace amount of body fat down with her thighs and calves. She needs the physique in order to keep up with those who have the advantage of masks, tights, and toys. Nothing against those types, of course, but just because the city has had its share of guardians doesn't mean she's going to sit around and sip on coffee and grow idle.

Hope keeps her hair short as it is a hassle to keep it in a ponytail or just out of the way of her eyes in general; it's for function and not fashion. More often than not she's attired in navy slacks, a button down top, and a navy suit jacket, though in her down time she's known to let her hair down, so to speak, and take on more casual outfits such as turtlenecks and jeans. Her face has a scar on her right cheek, a reminder of a moment gone horribly wrong; though it's healed now, no one in this line of work comes out unscarred. Hope is just fortunate that hers is more physical.

For reference's sake

Skills/Abilities: As with any member of the GCPD, Hope is skilled with her sidearm, though she definitely prefers not to have to use it for anything other than intimidation; in a pinch she serves as a fine marksman with pistols. She's taken self defense classes and while not an exceptional offensive fighter, if someone makes the first move in a fist fight - which she often allows them to do - she can more than hold her own within reason. As a detective her greatest strengths are her deductive reasoning and her keen eye, both of which come into play when she's investigating various crime scenes; ideally she'd sweep them clean before certain sorts decide to drop in and share their supposed expertise on the matter. She's a smart woman, but she can't always compete with people that literally have computers on speed dial.

Weaknesses: Hope has a tendency to let cases consume her which comes with the side effect of her no longer being able to think rationally or logically, and those in the know have exploited that in the past, subtly manipulating her into jumping the gun and jumping to conclusions in order to cause mistakes to be made. Fatal or otherwise. She has a fear of rats, which comes into play mostly when snooping around in less clean parts of the city.

History: Hope is a Gotham City lifer, someone who was born there and someone who was well aware she will most likely die there. She can only hope it's in doing her part to at least make her home a better place. Her mother didn't have a glamorous job, working for pennies at a diner in the heart of the city; but Hope respected that, she loved that her mother put up with terrible customers and even more terrible schedules just to make sure Hope didn't have to go hungry. Of course, her father did his part as well. Hope's father was a book keeper, an accountant, and that's all Hope ever knew him for. That, and his always nervous manner of speaking, as if he had to say things fast for some reason.

It wasn't until Hope joined the GCPD fresh from the Academy that she learned just what it was her father did for a living. In her first year on the Gotham beat, Hope was involved with a raid on a mob business; they were using an upscale restaurant as a front for their illicit activities, and the person in charge of the books for the restaurant was none other than her father. He was taken into police custody where he squealed quickly, giving up the names of his employers. This only led to the mob putting out a hit onto him and his family.

The hit came as expected, and her father was the first to go. Her mother was under police protection and put into witness protection and told to leave Gotham. When the hit came for Hope she survived and retaliated, but at the cost of the hitman missing his main target, Hope, and instead taking the life of an innocent, something which Hope blames herself for; her job is to protect and serve and she failed to do both that night.

Needless to say, Hope harbors no love for the mafia or any of their activities and was all too willing to cooperate with the vigilanties. Her view was that if Gordon said they were okay then they were fine by Hope. Though now with Gordon retired and the Bat seemingly missing, Hope is willing to take it upon herself to keep things safe on the street level.

Given her family's past ties to organized crime there are still those on the force that don't trust her, believing her to be on the take.
It's a popular rumor around her precinct that the only reason she made detective was because of connections rather than skill alone.
Every cop, especially those working the Gotham beat, has their scars and Hope is no exception to that - only her scars ran the risk of killing her career before it ever got started. Hope is more smart than she is sensible, which makes her useful in scouting a crime scene and putting together enough evidence to make a case, but too often she feels like she will always have to prove herself to people that have written her off. Hope might never forgive her father for that one.

Hope is probably the closest thing Gotham can get to an honest cop, but even she isn't immune to her own humanity and self interest.
Fortunately, nothing that has slid across her plate has had her compromise her own morals and ethics...but how long can anyone in this city stay clean?

Hope still hasn't made up her mind about the vigilantes the city has been known for despite supporting the former commissioner for his seemingly genuine desire to make Gotham a safer city. Given the current boiling point that is the GCPD, Hope has no time to worry about the Bat or any other people carrying on some sort of honored mantle given the current sentiment. Cop killings have everyone worried,
especially one who still has a score to settle with the mafia.

Everything aside, though, Hope is just trying to do what she can to honor her badge. There's a big stain on the Sandoval name. Hope's doing what she can to mop it up.

» Being on the small side of things, especially in terms of stature, Rosado uses a different skillset to find success. She'll never be the one to do heavy lifting or impressive grapples but she more than makes up for it with her fierce agility and hard strikes. What she lacks in strength and height she more than makes up for with pure speed. There's rarely a moment where Rosado isn't running circles around people, and given her agility more often than not she is climbing to the top and using the ropes as a balance beam. To that end, the ring is less a ring to her and more a playground in which to strike from damn near anywhere. It's no surprise that her unpredictable and exciteable antics has earned her some appreciation from those who like a bit of flash. Though she is no stranger to the term, Rosado doesn't consider herself as just some spot monkey - despite her love of acrobatics and impressive leaps, she does bring strikes into the mix - often with her kicks and shockingly far kick span.

Rosado isn't someone you count on the call a match but she is someone you never want to turn your eyes off of. Her accusations of being a spot monkey have led to her embracing the term and gaining the nickname "The Tropical Tamarin" as tamarin are small monkeys that are adept at running, jumping, and avoiding predators.

» Rosado's gimmick, if it could be called that, is her voice. Or rather her lack of one. Rosado has never uttered a single word in her professional career both backstage and in the ring. Not even her social media account(s) have written words in them, her Twitter notoriously known for only consisting of emojis instead of words. Her motto has become, appropriately, 'Talk Less. Do More.' which is a slight against people in the industry who constantly talk talk talk and can't back it up. Rosado's smile and expressions speak loud enough for her and even if they don't then her in-ring presence certainly does. Just because she doesn't talk doesn't mean she can't and it goes without saying that she isn't deaf or anything either. For reasons unknown to all but her, Rosado just doesn't speak at all.

Whether or not that's a gimmick is something no one's really been able to figure out. As far as Rosado is concerned it doesn't really matter that she doesn't speak. It hasn't impacted her career thus far.

» Face. Almost overwhelmingly so. It's hard to hate someone that brings such a wide smile and excitement to the proceedings. Plus, she has that scrappy can-do attitude stemming from her not backing down even when against people twice her weight or size. Rosado is a fan favorite because she's just so damn fun to be around and watch.

» Not many people are sure what to make of Rosado since she doesn't talk and most don't talk to her because of that. Rosado keeps to herself because of this. Matters of her private life are frustratingly difficult to come by even by the most determined person. Despite her silence, Rosado always likes to give her opponents a slap on the back and a V sign before a match and afterwards a thumbs up even if the match itself wasn't the best. In her still brief career plenty of people have tried to get her to open up be it from trips to a bar or other means but even with some liquor in her she remained mute. In spite of this, the worst people have said about her, other than her silence being some form of arrogance, is that she can be a bit too stiff with her strikes in the ring. Rosado certainly doesn't care if she leaves a match bruised and hurt, nor does it seem like she particularly cares if her opponent leaves in similar condition.

» Sumalee Rosado used to be a gymnast, getting a silver medal at State and a gold at Nationals when she was in her young teens. She brings that gymnast experience with her to the ring. Rumors exist of Sumalee Rosado once being scouted for Olympic potential.

I know your thread says closed and such but what the heck is the harm in expressing interest just in case it opens up at some point? Just like to say that the City Slicker (V1 or V2, it's both good) and the Historical Encounter got me going like "yeah this is right up the alley of things I am way into and down for"
