I have been to WCW Thunder once, WWE Wrestlemania Revenge and a ton of indie shows over the years.

Used to talk with Seth Rollins regularly when he was still part of The Age of the Fall with Jimmy Jacobs and I am friends with Jimmy as well. Met the Ultimate Warrior, dude is even more massive than you would think. Met the New Age Outlaws, ODB, Tracy Brooks, one of my friends made it into the PWI top 500, his peak ranking has been 476 I believe.

I am a pretty lucky guy lol

Damn, you sure are a lucky guy!

I can't even watch wrestling with my current TV package. I just watch clips on youtube and if I want to see whole matches, I need to wait for mirrored youtube vids that are slightly sped up.

Good luck with this RP guys! I just recently got back into pro wrestling with Lucha Underground on Netflix, but nobody was feeling an RP that segued from pro wrestling into masked vigilantism after a gangwar engulfs a town.

I wrestled in school for seven years, did the indie circuit in my region for about a month with a friend. He stuck with it and still does it I think, I used to design all of his ring attire. One of his acquaintances made it big in Japan who I never cared for, and I think my boy made that 500 list once or twice. My mom's cousin is the brown haired guy from the Rock N' Roll Express, and the guy that got me into wrestling as a kid was named Ron Wright who trained both Macho Man and Jerry the King Lawler. Only pros I've met have been the guys who wrestled in my friends circuit... Dustin Rhodes [he couldn't use the name Goldust LOL], Jon Heidenreich, Buff Bagwell [who's a COMPLETE d-bag in person], and of course my mom's cousin. I met the Road Warriors back in the 80's when I was knee high and pissed myself when they walked up on me and my mom in a parking lot LOL

Actually, with all this typing... you guys have any more room? I REALLY wanted to play a luchador...

@Silver Carrot I used to care a lot more about the sport. Had a chance to represent America in some junior Olympics in Germany in high school but didn't have the cash cause you had to pay $3k out of pocket and be accompanied by a coach. My wife's uncle has down syndrome and doesn't go to wrestling events but he's a HUGE fan. He's the only reason I try to keep up and he's one of my friends [the indy guy] biggest fans LOL. I'm in the process of going from Andy Dwyer back to Starlord... if I can get my stomach back I'd wrestle again just to make my wife's uncle's year. EDIT: Her uncle believes it's real. Vince McMahon used to ruin his weekends LOL

I've never been to a show or seen a wrestler in person. I only got into wrestling when I first played SVR 2009. Even then I didn't watch the shows until a few years later. I would freak out if I saw Edge, Mankind, or Daniel Bryan(My three favorite wrestlers) in person.

@The Kid Lantern Looks like you and I will be in three RPs together. Lol.

Edit: I'm also pretty much the only person I know that likes wrestling. That or just none of them mention it.

I grew up on the 80s-early 2000s WWF/E stuff, dropped out of it for a few years, and am recently picking it back up. I've been to a couple house shows in Indianapolis, but I've never met anyone in the business, nor do I have any of the fancy contacts some of you seem to have. I'm just a humble fan.

I wanted to become a wrestler but I have a bad back. I am strong like an ox but just twisting wrong can put my back out and it is crippling pain when it happens. I was working on my strength back in the day when I still intended on becoming a wrestler.

I was talking with the buddy that made it in the PWI 500 and mentioned doing 95 pound preacher curls and this one other wrestler who is also a power lifter stared at me for a few seconds then had to confirm what I was saying. He shook his head and said now that is impressive.

Since I can't physically wrestle, I figured roleplaying it will be the next best thing.

These ones are accepted. Also, I just want to point out to people that there's an AWE Intercontinental Championship and an AWE Tag Team Championship as well, it's not ONLY the World Title. So someone will have to be the current Intercontinental Champion, more on that later after I decide.
