Heroes of the Storm: A RP set in the Percy Jackson universe with the children of the gods
Why Did You Come To The RP Guild?: I had the itch to RP those years ago and no amount of writing was sedating it. I needed a creative outlet. So after scouring the internet, I stumbled across this site. And the rest is history.
Life Before The Guild: I started RPing in the MMO (Massive Multiplayer Online) game City of Heroes. I played for fun, but I ran into a group of people RPing. I asked them what they were doing and they introduced me to the concept. A quick character creation later and I joined their team and began RPing on my own.
Eventually, I moved from game to game, RPing in each one. I played Guild Wars 2, Elder Scrolls Online, Star Wars: The Old Republic, and Tera mainly. Each game introduced me to new concepts and I grew my skills in RPing.
However, tragedy struck in each game. I was put into positions I was not comfortable in, I was harassed by people I thought were my friends, and I found myself not having fun anymore. So I up and quit. After a couple months, I missed RPing.
Life Since The Guild: It's been a whirlwind of a time on here. A rocky start found me joining (and leaving) many RPs due to inactivity or lost interest. Finally, I found a place I feel wanted, loved, and cared for. And I don't plan on leaving it soon. It got to the point where I am even considering GMing my own game: a thought I NEVER thought I would have.
This is my home now.
Relations
For one reason or another, I have come to know these people and consider them friends. Regardless of starts or ends, these people are the reason I continue to come to this site day after day. And I wouldn't have it any other way!
@Lord Wraith: Probably the person I consider my first friend on here. He seemed to be in every game I put interest in (especially the superhero ones). As time went on, we got to know each other and became friends. We've had ups and downs, but he will always be someone I care about and I hope we can write again in the future.
@Morose: Oh my pink bothers you? Too bad! I love this girl so much! She is a wonderful GM and a great person to talk to. We've butted heads a few times, but what friends don't? Who knew we started off in Superhero RPs together? I must have blurred those memories! Either way, she is a great storyteller and I look forward to the chaos we'll cause!
@Nallore: This girl is quite the character. She's goofy and fun and a joy to be around! She's there if you need someone to listen to you vent or to just bitch about our life with. She has even become a really good GM, able to create some interesting stories. Put us together and I have a feeling not much would ever get done.
@ONL: We met in an RP and our characters were fated to be stuck together. After all, we only have each other in that game. He's such a sweet guy and his characters are all interesting to read and interact with. I've had the best time RPing with you and I hope it continues.
@Natsu: This guy is so sweet. I've enjoyed RPing with him and having my characters and his interact because there always seems to be an inherent closeness with them. He's such a sweetheart.

She could tell the man was enjoying himself (perhaps a bit too much?) so she continued. She gave a wicked smile at his comment. "Why, darling, you flatter me. I will admit it was very frightful, but I had to go and protect my friend, you understand? She was in danger and, by all accounts, the man after her had just killed someone. I couldn't sit idly by and watch someone, especially a woman, be victimized. It goes against everything I stand for."
She leaned forward on the man's desk, making sure her...features were still in view. "Since the door was locked, I had my friend Haakon wait outside in case he came out. I found my way around and leaped over into the balcony. The door was unlocked and that is where I found him, waiting for her to show up. In the end, she did show up with her escort and her escort managed to subdue the man until the authorities arrived. It was all quite the ordeal, darling. My heart was pounding the whole time. They took him away and left before Haakon and I could give our statements which is why we find ourselves here, it seems."

Finley mentally cursed Taylor for backing out. She didn't want to be alone with Declan! She actually didn't expect him to agree to come, but he did. She planned it. That's what was! Oh she was very sneaky! Finley would have to get her back later. For now, it seemed they had a crime scene to view.
Finley walked away as Taylor made her way to the cafe, "See ya, Taylor. If you see Olivia, give her the middle finger for me?" She was half joking, of course (ok maybe like....40% joking). She walked across the lawn as the crowds dispersed. She didn't know what to talk to Declan about. She didn't want to reveal anything until she was with Jenna and Taylor. Still, she had to talk.
"So...how's things?" Finley smacked herself. How's things? What the hell kind of question is that? She wasn't about to be some schoolgirl giggling over the guy she liked. Luckily, they found their way to the town hall. She glanced over and saw Kosara and that old guy, Abe, walking to their car. "Seems two odd birds of a feather flock together. Those two give me a weird feeling. Not surprised they are bonding. At least...I hope so." Either way, she made her way closer to the scene of the crime to begin her search.
Priya nodded and walked out of the Chief's office, closing the door behind her. She made a beeline for her desk (or what she assumed was her desk) and quickly opened the file. Taking in the information, she couldn't see why the case was re-opened. By all accounts, it should be an open and shut case. However, past experience with this type of thing led her to believe that if someone felt there was more to a case, they were usually right. And she also had that feeling that there may be more going on. It's part of the reason why she wanted to transfer to Justice: that nagging feeling of there being more than meets the eye.
She made a mental checklist of her starting steps.
- Talk to Agent Tinder on why the case was re-opened
- See if I can view the video of the dual murder. Maybe I can see something others didn't
- Ask Agent Tinder (and others) if they knew where Roy is
- See if I can see the unredacted file
First things first, she should contact the agent. She looked up the number for the FBI office in Justice and called. "Hello? Yes, I'm looking to talk to Agent Tinder. My name is Priya Khurana, a detective out of Precinct 54 in Justice. I'm hoping he can talk to me about a case he re-opened, File # 5461-LX-115?"

Life Before the Murder: Whitney was the only child of Chester and Melinda VanBurg and she didn't want for much. Chester's family was well known and had money. Lots of it. Melinda didn't want to admit that the life excited her. She fell for Chester due to his charm. They were wed and shortly after, she gave birth to Whitney. They showered Whitney with lots of things. Whitney went to school and, due to her family's wealth, she was liked amongst her peers and was considered popular.
Life behind the scenes wasn't gold plates and diamonds though. Chester would verbally and physically abuse Melinda. He would always hide it from Whitney, but Whitney knew. Melinda never mentioned it, but Chester would threaten to hurt Whitney if Melinda didn't go through with his desires. He threatened to ruin her and make her life a mess should she ever decide to leave. Melinda pushed through it all, but she saved what evidence she could. A bruise here, a picture there, a voice recording. She didn't have all the evidence she desired, but Chester came home drunk and angry and made his way into Whitney's room when she was only 12. That night, Melinda fought back in front of Whitney's eyes. Whitney called the police and they came and arrested Chester. With the evidence Melinda collected, along with Whitney's testimony, they were able to get Chester locked up for years.
Melinda took Whitney and moved to Silver Falls to start a new life. She took on her maiden name Carlyle and worked her way up to where she owned her own bookstore. Whitney, having dealt with the emotional abuse of her father, tended to find guys who were bad for her. Along came Ryan who treated her like dirt, but she dealt with it, until she had the audacity to break up with him. To this day, he threatens to leak the fact the two slept together, despite not having done so.
Whitney tries her best to do well in school, hoping to major in psychology and become a counselor for domestic abuse victims. She tries to keep a smile on her face despite it all. Even when Lucy Taylor was murdered.
History with Lucy Taylor: Whitney knew Lucy from High School. At the start, they ran in the same circle, but Whitney wouldn't have called the two of them friends. She didn't hate Taylor, but she didn't like her either. When Whitney was ostracized from the group, Lucy didn't bat an eyelash. Lucy would make her remarks about Whitney, but other than that the two avoided each other. Whitney wouldn't want her death to happen to anyone though.

Allison was struggling. While she continued to try to be a ray of sunshine in an otherwise dreary time, it was taking a toll. There was the fact there may be the extinction of the human or mutant race on the horizon. She could feel the tension inside the Mansion itself. Everyone was on edge. There was little she could do, but she continued to smile and try to cheer people up. She had a feeling she was being more of a nuisance than anything, buy it was her nature.
She still remembered her talk with Oseha. She still felt like she could contribute more. She wanted to explore and learn, but with all going on she also didn't want to be trouble.
Things were changing in the Mansion. They got some new people in and new room assignments. She was rooming with Jubilee and it was pretty cool. They often chatted about shopping or cute boys (they both had crushes on the same boy. Who is it? She'll never tell!).
Allison made her way to Professor X's office. She didn't want to bother him, but she hadn't had any other time before this. So she knocked on his door, waiting for him to probe her mind to see who it is. "It's me, Professor. I just want to talk, if that's all right."

Lilith didn't really see how her skills would be useful in this instance, but she had to try. She wasn't about to be stuck in some time paradox. Before she could perform her seance, Andromeda collapsed. Lilith quickly rushed over to check if she was all right. She seemed to be ok, but for how long? Would that be all of their fates if they stayed here?
Seraphina came up. Apparently, she was an angel now. Did she remember her? Was this before she met her? She would have to figure that out later. "I may be somewhat new to all of this, but wouldn't, as an angel, you be the best bet for that light? All I can do is speak to dead people and predict the future and, at this point, I don't think the cards would look very agreeable for us."
Millicent saw that the stupid woman was about to say something before someone spoke up. Millicent turned to face the voice. It was some pale, dead-looking woman. Millicent had to keep from laughing. Some ghost bitch was about to tell her what to do? However, before she could chew her out, she began to fall. Well, that seemed to solve that particular problem nicely.
Millicent left them to deal with the ghost girl. She made her rounds, eyeing each person. She didn't trust the lot of them. Since there was no way out, as yet, she would have to bide her time. She checked the area. It seemed to be some pit. There were chairs and various equipment. It looked like an entertainment circle, where people would come watch. She was used to comedy and merriment, but this situation was neither. She would be getting out of here, even if the way out was paved in blood.

I needed a creative outlet. So after scouring the internet, I stumbled across this site. And the rest is history.<br><br><font color="#f2b1e1">Life Before The Guild:</font> I started RPing in the MMO (Massive Multiplayer Online) game City of Heroes. I played for fun, but I ran into a group of people RPing. I asked them what they were doing and they introduced me to the concept. A quick character creation later and I joined their team and began RPing on my own.<br><br>Eventually, I moved from game to game, RPing in each one. I played Guild Wars 2, Elder Scrolls Online, Star Wars: The Old Republic, and Tera mainly. Each game introduced me to new concepts and I grew my skills in RPing.<br><br>However, tragedy struck in each game. I was put into positions I was not comfortable in, I was harassed by people I thought were my friends, and I found myself not having fun anymore. So I up and quit. After a couple months, I missed RPing.<br><br><font color="#f2b1e1">Life Since The Guild:</font> It's been a whirlwind of a time on here. A rocky start found me joining (and leaving) many RPs due to inactivity or lost interest. Finally, I found a place I feel wanted, loved, and cared for. And I don't plan on leaving it soon.
