Other characters acknowledged Kam's existence though.
Paige just responded to my message. She's unfortunately dropping out. I haven't heard from Digi yet, but I will probably hear from him in either a day or two. Sit tight, guys.
Well, it's been over a week since our last IC post, so I say we just continue.
We have to wait for Paige and Digi. I'm sending them a message now.
It will likely NOT be a straight tabletop game. Frankly I find the actual gameplay mechanics of OWOD to be relatively poor; what I very much do enjoy is the fluff and the representative values that their character generation system allows. It is good to know what your character can accomplish based on real world benchmarks--it is bad when a dagger is the king of combat weapons and combat devolves into rocket tag. As such, I will likely be using character generation and progression rules AS A GUIDELINE, but not rolling for everything that occurs unless the entire group really wants to. Make sense?
Ah, okay. Thank you for clearing that up. As someone who is unfamiliar with the game mechanics of OWoF (though I'm slowly trying to work it out), I'm glad. Also, since we're voting, I'm fairly happy with whatever everyone else wants. I know slightly more about VtM than I do the Dark Ages, however I'm sure I can pick it up very quickly.
Wait, hold on, I'm a little confused: if you guys are planning on putting this in the Advanced section, does this mean this isn't going to be a tabletop RP? I mean, I don't mind if that's the case (in fact, that will make it easier on me as I don't have any real experience with tabletop RPs), I just want to make sure I've got my facts straight.
I'm guessing this would be a tabletop RP, yes? I'm somewhat interested, though I'm incredibly new to tabletop gaming so I hope you can be patient with me as I'm slowly learning the ropes of tabletop gaming and the World Of Darkness.
There will be no killing of Silver's character... I'll just have to figure a way to get him out of the story as smoothly as possible... Hmmm.... I do have an idea though that they could be abducted by the villain of the Quartz and that the rest of the party has to save them. Just an idea, just a suggestion.
At both Jasmine and Jessica's question about how her school day went, Sam heaved a deep sigh and turned another page of her book. "I thought I told you two I don't go to school anymore," she muttered. "Frankly, I'm surprised you two even bother still attending. We're magical girls, we're supposed to protect people from the Errors. We don't have time for mathematics or science." Her tone may have come off as a little sterner than she had meant it to, but she just couldn't see the point of them trying to live normal lives when... well, they weren't normal anymore. "I spent my day working more on using my staff for combat," Sam continued. "I also tried again to see if I could do magic yet, like you guys could." For the first time in this conversation, Sam's normally flat expression was replaced with a slight grimace. "But no luck." She sighed again and turned another page. It irritated her to no end that she was a Greenhorn, while her two other teammates were a Magical Girl and a Veteran, that they had powers and could use magic - real magic - and she was stuck to only using her staff to whack the enemy over the head now and then. She hoped this would change soon. She wanted to see what kind of powers she had. She hoped they were like Jessica's powers, which allowed her to manipulate plants. Elemental powers were really cool. Of course, Jasmine's powers were cool too. Not just cool, but unique, how she had a different power based on a different item. Considering a magical girl's powers only got stronger as they advanced in level, Sam was curious to see how Jasmine's powers would develop. Still, Sam would liked to have had some kind of elemental power. Something strong, something powerful. And she hoped it would surface soon: as the days went on and she still couldn't use magic, she started to get more and more frustrated with herself.
I'll message the both of 'em in a bit.
Yeah. Sorry I haven't spoken much. Been feeling a little melancholy of recent. Also, sad to see you go Silver... I'm going to have to figure out how to write your character out of the story.
