No. It will start off with being slice-of-life because school and highschool shenanigans with powers. But as the roleplay progresses, plot and action will begin to kick in.

I'm still interested. I'm actually glad someone else decided to GM this, though, as I'm already working on a superhero RP to the side and that's going to have a lot of my GMing attention until the story is in full flow.

But yeah, I'm for it! Though, since you mentioned ancient fairytales, does that mean I have to change my character, as she's based off of Alice from Wonderland?

It's okay if you all want to drop from this. I myself have lost inspiration for it... I might try to reboot this RP in the future, though using a different character from Alison. I think she's a major part of the problem about me not enjoying this RP as much, as I'm not feeling either her or Phascomon as a character.

I'm someone else who has no idea what you're on about as far as that movie. But I do enjoy a good superhero story. Tell me, would supernatural type heroes be acceptable in this?

I've been considering it as I do have a supernatural superhero that I have been really wanting to use myself. Part of me wanted to keep this sci-fi but considering that a lot of superhero universes, like DC's and Marvel's, have a mixture, then I will allow supernatural and magic-based superheroes... though, make sure if you do want to go for a Doctor Strange or Zatana-esq character, please don't make them too overpowered.

Nah, it's fine. I actually think I should clear this up quickly: It's not set in the same universe as Sky High, it's simply taking a lot of the ideas from the premise. For example, instead of the school being in the sky, in this roleplay, the school is actually going to be underground. And, as mentioned before, there is some kind of illegal science experiment going on called the Esper programn. These are all my own ideas, though it's still going to have some of the wackiness from Sky High. Basically, you don't need to see the film to know what's going on, it is it's own thing.

A School For Superheroes (Interest Check)

So, I recently watched the Disney film Sky High, a story about a school for teens who are planning on becoming full-fledged superheroes and I thought that this would be an interesting idea for a really fun roleplay. Sure, we have the school for gifted children RPs but this one will be also focussing on the superhero genre particularly, including some of the sillier elements. Some of your characters' parents might also be superheroes... or supervillains... or maybe, their parents are normal but are carrying some dormant superpower gene and your character got lucky. Or maybe they were recently rescued from the illegal Esper program. But enough of that serious stuff. You'll be able to play as either a student or as a teacher/staff member... or both. You can play up to two characters, but they must be one of each. There will be some action and fighting in the roleplay, but it will focus mainly on characters and fun, slice-of-lifey shenanigans that come with being a teenager with powers. I'll post more information on the OOC, but I'll need to get a reasonable amount of interest before this thing gets started.
