Jub the Peculiar

Jub had been in the process of rifling through his bag to get his wizard cloak when Gabriel approached them. The look of horror on the goblin's face as the half-elf not only approached them but seemed to recognise Jub was probably hilarious... to everyone who wasn't Jub.

"You..." Jub croaked out, pointing at Gabriel as he did so. "Must have me confused... for someone else..." As he was speaking, his body start to compress into itself as if he was trying to melt into his chair.

@XxFellsingxX In fact Gabriel is berating the two for letting him wander around with nothing to do for an hour.

I know, but Jub is still horrified that Gabe can see him now.

Also, that he seems to have recognised him regardless.

Also, the fact Dark Cloud is posting now, means that Jub hasn't had a chance to change back into his wizard garb.

He's definitely internally screaming right now.

I mean, I'm not implying she's always been Kettlesteam, or any of the times Brut and Jub have interacted with Ellywick she's been Kettlesteam.

But she's COULD be Kettlesteam while talking to Zav. She has no reason to NOT be polite to Zav.

I actually went back several posts to see if the colours of Ellywick's speech lined up at all with Kettlesteam's voice...

... then I realised Kettlesteam probably was using the same text colour as Candlefoot because it was his voice and I realised I had no proof it was her.

DOESN'T MEAN IT WASN'T THOUGH.

Eventually, a string of Ellywick's plucks itself and she smiles at Zavakri, "Ah! It's almost time for the Crowning...! ...And it looks like I might not need to intervene after all..."

She looks directly at Zavakri and she encourages the mage, "You should hurry over there! After all...even fey planes won't stand for what goes against the Balance for too long,"

Before Zavakri could even question the bard's enigmatic words, Ellywick disappears, leaving Zavakri alone to follow the crowd into the Big Top.

I'm really glad someone got to do something with the Mystery Mines. When trying to figure out which attractions to go for at the beginning of the game, I did hear about them and was interested in the concept.

Unfortunately, I also couldn't justify Jub wanting to go for the Mines specifically. It just didn't really seem like it would be his thing, and after the Extravaganza, I knew he the rides wouldn't be on the top of his priorities at that point.

I mean, I knew there was something we probably could have done there, but I doubt it would have occurred to Jub at all xD
