@Guardian Angel Haruki Before I write my post, may I have Jub insight check the Misters just to make sure this isn't some kind of trap? He's still very wary of them.
@Fading Memory

Fixed. Sorry about that ^^;
@XxFellsingxX

Roll your crit damage dice you git! :)

Oop, sorry ^^; Still getting used to combat mechanics. I'll edit my post in the sec.
Hilariously wrote that Vigil received a "burst of energy from healing" before rolling that Nat 20. Thank you, dice, for your appropriate dramatic timing.

I'll run this by the group; Goldmarble hasn't been on the guild in several weeks and hasn't messaged me specifically otherwise. How do you guys feel about letting someone else in, like Dark Cloud since he expressed interest? Give Gold another week then open the gate? Offer to Dark now? I'm on the fence, I just like being communicated with and don't mind people needing time, like Vertigo, but I also want someone who showed up and went 'hey I'm active' to have a shot and Gold hasn't been responsive.

That's a tough one. I'd say give it another week, just in case.
Vigil

Vigil had been so taken by surprise by Amaryllis' transformation into a bright, starry form he had no time to react when the Tralaya swarmed him. Given how they didn't seem to deal well against radiant energy, he should have probably assumed he'd be their next target, but due to the general chaos of the moment, it hadn't even crossed his mind. Snarling and growling, he attempted to shake of the creatures as he began to feel his strength slowly start to leave him. Thankfully, the Wooden One took that moment to use her magic to heal him, just as he had healed her moments before. Feeling his wounds closing up and a sudden burst of energy rush through his body, Vigil gave a quick nod to the woman to show his gratitude before letting out a loud, powerful roar and attempting to strike out at the swarm with his tail, which once again began to glow with radiance.

She's...not really evil.

She's a jerk, yes. But...not evil.

Ah yes, a fellow chaotic neutral, I see xD

Hold up. There's a Kettlesteam plushie?

Indeed, I mentioned it several pages back but I relish to post it again.

<Snipped quote by Guardian Angel Haruki>

I doubt Kettlesteam is gone for good. They wouldn't make artwork for a character who shows up only once.

Or a plushie xD

Remember that running away is a viable option if it seems like things aren't going well. ;)

You'd think so, but, in my game with this particular character, I tried to have him run away and err... let's just say the dice weren't in his favour, and the players caught up to him ^^; (He did survive that encounter, thankfully.)
Part of me is so tempted to buy Wild Beyond the Witchlight and DM it for my ttrpg group at some point in the future because it would be fun to see how differently they react to the adventure as opposed to how we've all reacted...

... though I have a feeling that one of my players would react to Kettlesteam in a similiar way to Brutrumukk. xP Because in our current campaign (which isn't DnD), I have a character who, like Kettlesteam, shows up, causes trouble and tries to run off. Every time this character has tried to mess with the party, however, this particular player has been "I'm 100% done with guy, I'm gonna kick this guy's ass."

Needless to say, I'm worried Kettlesteam wouldn't live long enough to do anything if I tried to run Witchlight xP
