Jub looked thoroughly unconvinced by Brutrumukk's claims of good intentions, and was just about to say something when the four will-o-wisps appeared. "Woah!" He put his hands up in front of him and fluttered backwards a little. "Sorry, sorry!" he apologised frantically to the green flame in front of him. When none of the flames made moves to attack him, he lowered his hands. "I must say though, if those trinkets are so important to you, you might consider putting them somewhere a little more secure than say..." He carefully gestured towards the objects. "A geyser in the middle of nowhere." He folded his arms. "Surely you folks have heard of a bag of holding? I've heard they're rather good for storing one's valuables."

When Brutrumukk put forward his offer to go kill this Agdon Longscarf the wisps had mentioned in exchange for their shinier objects, Jub shook his head. "Really now, is that your answer to everything?" he muttered. "We've already got things to do. We can't waste time going on some wild goose chase just because you want some shiny objects."

Jub looked at the bugbear increduously. "Did you not hear what Miss Aurora just said?" he shouted down, somewhere between annoyance and bewilderment. "Do you want us all to end up in servitude to a coven of old, witchy fey?"

Nope. Jub 100% agrees with what Aurora said before and isn't about to bind himself into eternal debt with some hags. That sounds like the opposite of a good idea.

I forgot to add for your Nat 20 investigation, Jub can definitely feel that none of these items are Jub’s ability to keep secrets in a physical form.

"Since that whole crowning ceremony at the Carnival," Jub replied, glancing over his shoulders to get a better look at his wings. He gave them a small flutter. "Haven't had much reason to use them until now. I suppose I could have used them to get to our little dragon friend faster, but eh..." He shrugged. "I think I can only use this three times anyway. That being said..." He pushed himself off the ground so he was just above his companions' heads. He pointed to Aurora. "Ring and letter." He then pointed to Gabriel. "Dice." He pointed one finger at Zavakri and the other at their two new acquaintances. "Absolutely no clue." He then pointed with his thumb towards himself. "I don't even know what someone's ability to keep secrets would look like but I'll figure it out." He then flew up to the top of the geyser to get a better look at the objects, with particular interest in the parchment unicorn as he wondered if it had been made from Aurora's letter she'd lost. Turning an important document into origami seemed very much like a fey thing to do.

Hearing Brutrumukk's last comment, something finally to Jub and he raised his finger in a dramatic fashion. "Fear not!" he said triumphantly. "Thanks to my previous exploits, we do not require the oversized sprite for this particular task!" He gave the smuggest smile as he, using the Charm of the Monarch, summoned a pair of beautiful, green butterfly wings, not dissimilar in appearance from the cloth ones he had worn while at the Carnival. He his arms and did a fancy spin round so his companions could get a look at his new appendages. "Right? Come now, don't hold back the applause!"
