Grace: I'm already dead! I'll be fine! I can't die twice!

Grace: I'm not fine! I am badly wounded! Ow that hurts!

I'm going on the assumption right now that Kendra doesn't yet really understand how ghosts work, which actually makes a lot of sense now that I know she's only known Grace for a week.

She gonna need to do some research on spirits after this.
Kendra's current state of mind:

Does Jub have anything to say in response to Brut's words or should I move on to Gabe's portion of Bugbear Therapy?

Nope. He's just keeping his hands over his mouth at this point.

LOL. She only had Grace for a week, actually. XD

Oh okay. Thank you for telling me that, I wasn't actually sure how long she's been haunting Kendra xP
Kendra's only had Grace for a few months but if anything happened to her, they would shoot everyone in this room and then themself.
Kendra

In the grand scheme of things that mattered to Kendra, her own life and safety ranked fairly low. However, she also wasn't an idiot: of the four in Abberline's line of fire, she was definitely the most vulnerable. Mitra had already told them about the sturdiness of his demonic form, Grace was already dead, and Misty probably had some spells on hand that could protect her, or at least mitigate the damage. Kendra, however, was just a squishy mortal, and while her visions did give her more of a heads up that what most people got, they were still limited.

It was for this reason, when Kendra received their premonition of someone else drawing Abberline's fire that they decided to let it happen. After all, Abberline likely only had normal bullets on him, right? He couldn't do that much damage to any of their companions... right?

Wrong. Apparently, when fully manifested, ghosts were as vulnerable to gunshots as a flesh and blood person, as Kendra witnessed when Grace took the bullet for them. Any colour Kendra had in their pale face drained away as they watched Grace's blood splatter across the room, and clenched the gun they were holding before pointing, much more confidently than before, at Abberline.

"Get the fuck out now, or I swear to whatever god that exists that I will shoot you," they said, barely managing to keep themself from raising their voice. It was the most emotion Mitra, and probably also Misty, had likely ever seen from Kendra in the whole time they had known them.
Short post, but I knew that Kyte would definitely have something to say about being left behind at this point. Plus, wanted to give time for anyone else to add anything before we move on.
At Echo's suggestion that they should stay behind, Kyte spoke up. "Hold on," they said. They hesitated, glancing at the faces of the other drakes. "I would like to come along. I know you all probably want rid of me after what happened with Stonescale, but I..." They averted their eyes down to the ground. "Look, you helped me, and from the sounds of it, you also helped my clutch when I couldn't. Now, I would like to help you."
I'll wait for Haruki to post Grace's reaction to all of this before I decide what Kendra does.
Everybody gangsta until they cross a prophesy protected hunter.
